I recently contracted with Rob DiBella Construction to perform major masonry/concrete work involving new steps, removal of partial frontage of a house to make room for a carport-
This job required careful planning and organizational skills to get the job done in both a safe and professional manner
Rob and his employees went above and beyond by performing their tasks with exemplary work skills and dedication.
I was given continuous updates on the progress each day. Rob and his workers are hard working and I can honestly say all work tasks were performed in an exemplary manner-
In summation, I am extremely satisfied and grateful for a JOB WELL DONE!
I highly recommend Rob DiBella due to his expertise, dedication, professionalism, exemplary work ethic, and planning skills-
Thank you again for a job well done!

Rob and his crew did a fantastic job repairing our retaining wall. Great customer service, friendly, fast working, efficient and neat. Thanks again
BE AWARE!
Every excuse in the book! Spent over $30k for the worst concrete ever. The attached images are how my driveway looked within a few months. Called/texted rob multiple times and have been dealing with nothing but issues only a few months after the job was complete. I spent thousands of dollars having other contractors try to repair this mess. Poor customer service and nothing but excuses. Even after me telling him I spent money with other contractors to try to repair his work, no care in the world.
The concrete is spalling, meaning it is continuously flaking and breaking down. After getting many opinions from other professionals and the city, they all believed it’s either poor concrete or poor install. (The moment I knew I was not going crazy).
Also, the driveway drain is designed very poorly and is constantly backing up from the flaking concrete. If I don’t clean the drain twice a week, water will back up into the garage. (I’m also not referring to general routine cleaning from leaves, this is backing up from the flaking concrete).
Rob will keep blaming the rock salt, but this started happening before the snow season and is happening on the sidewalks where cars do not drive. Rob claims he doesn’t make the concrete and only installs it, which makes zero sense since he’s the one who BUYS the concrete. What is the point of hiring a “top dollar” mason to then not stand behind the product he supplied? He suggested I try calling the concrete supplier myself and then gave me the wrong contact information. I realized this after I recently found the receipt from the day of the pour.
I even went as far as offering to pay half of the repair out of being desperate to fix this mess and absolutely no help. After speaking to other people in town, I am not the first one this has happened to.
I suggest to read his contract very carefully to confirm all the specifications of the concrete. I also suggest not giving him final payment until all his work is verified to be complete. Lastly, I would ask for a copy of the concrete receipt/ticket for your records.
Just because Rob is well connected in Bayonne, does not give him the right to treat customers however he wants.
