Foster services our HVAC system in the Fall and Spring. By doing this we prevent “surprises” when we least expect them. Foster does a great job keeping our system ready for all seasons!

HB Foster installed a cooling heat pump this summer. I had several bids, and they were the best price. The differentiator was that the electrical services were included, as they have the capacity to do this with an electrician on staff.

Once the contract was signed, HB Foster arrived on the date they had committed to for the installation. Their crew was efficient and neat, and the work was completed in the estimated time given me. I was pleased with the result, and if I have future heating or cooling needs, I will definitely look to work with them again.

I'm in the middle of a project with HP Foster Mechanical to install a Mini Split heating/cooling system in my home to replace an old oil furnace. Thus far the relationship has been positive and easy. I've been impressed with their thoroughness and attention to detail in analyzing my house and presenting a plan for the system. They've also been helpful in understanding the ins and outs of Mass Save where I have secured loan. They have yet to install the system, but thus far I feel I'm in excellent hands.

Can’t say enough good things about HB Foster’s team. The salesman was patient with my many questions and the installers were wonderful. The area was left clean and the disruption to the household was minimal. Lead time was also very reasonable. I would definitely have them back again!

HB Foster Mechanical Inc. did an excellent job installing two Mitsubishi heat pumps in a mini-split system and a dehumidifier. I couldn't be happier with their work.

Our cabin has an unusual structure and floor plan, with lots of glass on the 1st floor, so HB Foster got creative with where to place the indoor heads. By running the lines through a closet, they installed the 1st floor 18,000 BTU head in the perfect place, in a central location on an internal wall. It looks great! The spot they chose is out of the way yet perfect for efficiency throughout the open-plan first floor. Same with the 12,000 BTU indoor head in the finished basement: An ideal spot. I really appreciated how Dan Stubbs at HB Foster came up with a creative solution that was also really practical to improve overall energy efficiency.

Both Dan, the VP for the company, and Gary, who runs sales, take pride in their work at HB Foster. They listened to their client, answered any questions promptly, and got the job done ahead of schedule. HB Foster is also a Diamond Dealer for Mitsubishi, which means they can offer a 12-year warranty on the heat pumps.

The installation crew were brilliant. They executed a complex job with finesse, cleaned up everywhere, and were courteous and friendly. It helps that Dan is also their in-house Master Electrician, so HB Foster don't need to outsource electrical work. This meant the installation had a level of professionalism and attention to detail that improved the quality of the job overall.

Installation and service was professional and thorough. The whole process of the HVAC split was explained including the various rebates offered. Have used HB Foster before and well worth it for value and expertise.

H.R. Foster is a great outfit. We had them install a 5-head mini-split system and an ERV in our house 3 years ago and couldn’t be happier with the results. The pricing was competitive, the equipment was first-rate (Mitsubishi) and the technicians were pleasant and meticulous throughout the installation. We recently had a small issue with condensate leakage, which was immediately addressed. I highly recommend them.

Requested service. Came exactly in time. Worked efficiently and productively for four hours. Polite and professional. Got the job done with a minimum of noise and distraction. Highly recommended!

After I decided to purchase split systems for my home, I interviewed two local companies, and decided on HB Forster for a couple of reasons. One was the pricing, because their estimate was less, but, second, they were providing Mitsubishi units, which as far as I could tell, were superior to other brands. I have been very happy with my units. I have two of them: one for upstairs and one for downstairs, and they run almost all year round.

Not only did the installation go smoothly, on time and true to estimate, they handled all the paperwork for rebates and tax purposed. Now, after two years, for a fee, they also provide expert service for yearly or bi-yearly maintenance. I highly recommend this company - to a friend, or a stranger.

Bob did a great job cleaning my mini splits. Cleaned the mold that had accumulated inside and plugged up the openings that allowed mice to set up home inside the units. He was very neat and everything was left spotless.

Having a house that is over 100 years old with hot water heating, does not lend itself to installing central air conditioning. Mini-split units solved that problem. No duct work required.

The process from front to back was impressive. The solution included 4 ceiling , flush-mounted units in upstairs bedrooms. Not a scratch on the ceilings and very attractive too. The crew was prompt, courteous, neat and friendly. I highly recommend this outfit.

Foster HB was very responsive to my issue with Mitsubishi heat pump. They investigated the problem for over 3 hours and then enlisted the support of Mitsubishi consultant to reload the software. All done by themselves with no pressure from me.

Dan Stubbs and team were excellent to work with. Knowledgeable, most all-inclusive proposal (no outside costs), responsive, patient answering questions and troubleshooting. When our plan changed during install, they were gracious in making the change. They have worked with many neighbors - all say the same things.
