We called Beta Contracting for the first time on a Saturday, needing access to a room that had locked. A locksmith wasn’t able to solve the problem, but John, who arrived at our house within the hour, did. His solution was creative and caused no damage to the door. He then, at no extra charge, worked on the door so that it would function better. He was courteous, professional, caring and relatable. We have already retained John to do further, more involved work on our home. We’re very fortunate to have found John and Beta Contracting.

Another great job was done by Beta Contracting at my house. A closet that was not being used because of "stuff" in front of the door. Now it is open with shelves , a few hooks and no door blocking its use.

John has worked on probably 15 different projects at my house, ranging from complicated electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry, to more of the simpler household to-do tasks that I just never get to. He has done great work and has billed at a reasonable rate. He is a good communicator and kept me informed of his plans and timeline. He's also a nice guy. There was one job that he accepted but upon further reflection told me that it was a job with which he wasn't comfortable. I thought that this was terrific.

We have been absolutely thrilled in working with Jean Christophe and Beta Contracting. He has helped with many things but most significantly, time finally came to re-do our bathroom and all the work done exceeded all expectations. He removed our old linoleum, redid the antique floors, installed new fittings, put in a new bath/shower wall and more. An unloved space was transformed into one of our favorite corners of the house. John has built & repaired a few things at my house, from tricky—a basement banister— to very basic—gutter cleaning. He is skillful, communicates clearly, gives an estimate beforehand and sticks to it. I recommend him!
