Fossil Ridge did a great job on our roof! It looks beautiful. They even removed our old nonworking power vent fans and replaced them with a safer option. I told Norman I was concerned we did not have enough roof vents and he gladly threw in two more to help vent the attic. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.

The whole prices with Fossil Ridge was pleasant from beginning to end. Everything from the quote to the finished project was handle quickly and professionally. Our roof and gutters look great. Will use them again in the future.

So after shopping different roofing companies for storm damage from a major hail storm in March, we chose Fossil Ridge to do our repairs. Justin and company kept us in the loop for the entire process from the bid to the agreement. They showed up on the date agreed, and had the entire process done by 3:30 pm. I love this company! I’ve used their service twice recently and they have been so responsive. Neither were big jobs, but with all the rain we’ve had it was crucial to get them fixed quickly. They never charged me anything, but you can bet when I do need a new roof I will be contacting them! I’ve never seen the kind of service they provide and can’t thank them enough. Great experience. It was my first time getting a new roof, and with all the horror stories you hear about fly-by-night contractors, I was super nervous. Justin and Dylan helped me from the beginning and talked with my insurance to get me the most they possibly could. *AND* When it still had to come out of pocket, Fossil Ridge still offered me a better interest rate than my local credit union and didn't require my house as collateral.

That's all before the work even started. Within a week of my loan getting approved, they had my solar panels removed, and 2 days later, my roof was started and finished by lunchtime. No mess left in the yard afterward, either.

Hopefully, I never need another roof, but if a tornado ever blows my house away, I know where I'm going for the new roof, and I've got Justin and Dylan to thank for it.

We had a really great experience with Fossil Ridge Roofing after a recent hail storm caused damage to our roof. Norman O'Neal came by our home and inspected it for damage. He was at our home when the Insurance adjuster did his inspection. His crew roofed the home in one day and cleaned up the yard before leaving. They repaired some damage to the roof due to leaks that we knew about and found & repaired some damage that we did not know was there. Norman always answered his phone whenever we called, unlike most contractors now days. We would use Norman with Fossil Ridge again if needed.

This company is outstanding. I called them to check on my moms roof in Paris TX. They were honest and upfront told me my mom didn't need a new roof. Just needed caulking around a pipe and skylight. Anyone else would have probably told me we need a new roof! I'm very thankful!!

I needed a small roofing job completed & everyone that quoted me wanted to do the whole roof. Once they found out insurance was not going to cover the whole roof I never heard from them again. Fossil Ridge put in a lot of work to try & get it covered but even though it was still denied they stuck around and finished the smaller job. I can't say enough about Fossil Ridge Roofing. They replaced my roof in October 2024. I've had bad experiences in the past and I was quite nervous about choosing a company to work on my home. My first impression with Fossil Ridge was when Norman and his wife showed up the very same day I called to give me an estimate on my roof. That alone impressed on me that they were expedient and valued their customers. They also are super nice people and I made the right choice to trust them that day.
Norman walked me through every step of the process, which I was extremely grateful for. I made a call to my insurance company and after that he took care of everything. His persistent effort with my insurance company paid for my new roof. I was quite surprised and very relieved. It all went very quickly and smoothly.
Every tradesman they used was excellent.
From the roofing crew, the painters ... I had leaks ... the window screens from hail damage. The gutter installer. Each of them were respectful of my property, polite, neat, and prompt. The results turned out beautifully.

Fossil Ridge Roofing is fantastic!! When i first moved to Texas they painted my entire house. It turned out beautiful! I was moving from Ca and I purchased the home on the internet. Norman and his team went out to confirm the current roof was in good shape and it was. But I wanted to pick colors to change the inside. It was an older home and had a couple of rooms with the old type ceiling. So they scraped and textured before painting. I picked my colors and I am so happy. They power washed the outside and painted my shutters and trim. When my back patio did not have gutters, I called Norm to see if he could give me some advice on a Monday, Tuesday some guys stopped by to measure and see what color I wanted, by Friday… They were complete. I couldn’t believe it. If I need anything… you know I’m calling Norman at Fossil Ridge Roofing & Construction!!! Thanks so much.

To my surprise and appreciation, they gave me a completely honest assessment: my roof was in great shape and didn’t need any work at this time.

It’s refreshing to find a company that values integrity over making a quick sale. The inspector was prompt, professional, and took the time to explain what he saw, even showing me photos to support his assessment. There was zero pressure, and I never once felt like I was being upsold.

We have a new home and after the recent storms had some shingles come off. I called the company that installed the roof and let’s just say they were not interested in doing anything about it. Got Casey’s, Fossil Ridge Roofing, name and number from a friend, explained the situation and she came out the same day. She assessed our roof and said she could have a crew out in the same week before more storms rolled in. The kicker was she wanted to do it at no cost. She said it is just the neighborly thing to do. So they came out spent a couple of hours replacing shingles and any that pulled up. They were professional and thorough! They will have my business moving forward. Nice knowing there are still people like Casey, and companies like Fossil Ridge, honest, good, hard working! Can’t wait to work with them again soon!

Our experience with Fossil Ridge Roofing & Construction was seamless. They were prompt coming out when first contacted. Shawana was very helpful in guiding us through the insurance company procedure. The roofers where extremely careful in securing our property for the job ( even tarping our pool) and were very diligent in cleaning up. Mitch was here at all times to ensure everything was just right. He even suggested a shingle color we hadn't considered. It's beautiful and really changes the look of our home.

The craftsmanship and quality of work for our living room remodel was far and away of work we’ve had in our home. This is our third remodel and I was so impressed that Norman and his wife did the majority of the work, themselves. Including busting up old tile, taking out non-load-bearing fur downs, tearing out molded insulation and cleaning up each evening. My wife had a very specific design in mind and they followed her dreams. We have an older home , with low ceilings and we wanted to try and raise our ceiling . With any remodel, you must work within the confines of the home so we were able to box in the ceiling, add recessed lights, and many more custom made touches.

After a major storm passed through our area and we discovered shingles blown off the house, we called Fossil Ridge. They sent someone out to tarp the damaged section of our roof. Kane met with our insurance adjuster to ensure all damage was pointed out and covered in our claim. All roofing, gutter, and stain work was done in a timely manner, looked great, and the cleanup was excellent after completion. Thanks to Kane and the entire crew for making a roof replacement stress-free and providing a high level of professional service.

Guys did amazing work, super hot day and they knocked out a big roof and left area clean upon leaving; def recommend to anyone needing a company that handles all aspects of the situation!

Responding to Owner Reply: At no point was I asking or demanding anyone to fix it. My frustration is with the way the situation was handled from the beginning. You mansplaining to me that he drives a big heavy truck just makes it more probable that he did break the sprinkler. This is not the first time that one of these sprinkler heads has been broken by a vehicle rolling over the top of it, they are right up against the low curb. There was never mention of a chair in my yard, maybe I should demand proof like you have. There is no need to get cops involved, no laws were broken. I am not slandering your business, nor am I lying about anything. I am merely stating facts and posting pictures of proof of the way you chose to handle this from the get go. I could not come to the door when you knocked and this was hours after all of our in person and online interactions. Stop threatening me with lawsuits, it is childish.

While working on a neighbors house, this company broke one of our sprinklers that is on the edge of our grass early this morning. I noticed it when he left so when he came back, I confronted him about it and he became argumentative and very dismissive. This could have been handled very differently. Not a difficult thing to fix. Here is a screenshot of their response when I posted about it on their Facebook page. They quickly blocked me from their page after this.

Outstanding job! Everything went very smoothly from the first phone call to the clean up after the job was done. They use excellent materials and take care to add all the finishing touches. I called Kane Sweet with Fossil Ridge Roofing. I had wind damage from a recent storm. Kane and his team came out and repaired my roof at no charge. They were professional through the entire process and have gained a customer for life. I highly recommend Fossil Ridge Roofing.

Fossil Ridge contacted me after see my request on a FB post searching for someone to replace shingles and repair a hole in my roof that was patched by insurance with a tarp after a home fire. And after visiting via messenger I honestly thought perhaps my job was perhaps too small for them and would have to continue my search as my roof is a very “steep” roof , to my surprise they responded that a crew would be sent out at absolutely no charge ! And they would fix our roof ! We did already have the necessary supplies they supplied the crew ! They not only showed up in a timely manner but fixed the roof perfectly! I would definitely recommend Fossil Ridge for anyone needing roof repairs big or small ! And when the time comes to replace this old roof I know who I will call.

Fossil Ridge put our new roof on after the hail storm last year. Just last week, however, Debbie was in our neighborhood to meet with another client and she stopped by to check on us. Our roof was covered with sticks and leaves, something I can't do anything about, so she promptly got the roof cleaned off for us. She told me to call her if it happened again and she'd happily return and clean it for us. I've never known anyone quite like her - she truly cares about her clients, and that care and concern doesn't stop once the final check clears. She's since helped us with some other issues around the place - she has been an absolute Godsend. I'd never even think about using another roofing company.

Debbie was an absolute delight to work with. She told me what was happening along the way and she coordinated multiple people and jobs to make sure my home was taken care of just like she assured me it would be. The crews were always nice, professional, and amazingly fast.
I would and have referred them to anyone. Several of my neighbors worked with Fossil Ridge as well....great reviews from them as well. Debbie went above and beyond for us during a really rough time in our lives and I'm so appreciative for her.

A1 Service with a smile! Very quick and efficient. This was my first time ever dealing with a roof and it was pretty painless. Norman gets the job done quickly , efficiently and professionally!

The owner (Norman Oneal) contracted us (Polar Bear Chimney Sweep) to make a chimney cap for him for an addition onto his personal house. Once we got the chimney cap fabricated, we contacted him to schedule a time to get it installed. Come to find out he has already had someone else make a cap and install it. Now we are out $822.49 for a custom-made chimney cap, that is specifically made for his chimney. He states that we were never out at his property and that he never received a price, we have photos and documentation to confirm both.

If you are a subcontractor I would not advise working for this company the owner is not honest. He also resorted to name calling which is not very professional.

I have referred Fossil Ridge Roofing several times to clients and friends. When they did my roof, they did a fantastic job. They had to stay after the insurance company for me and finally got it taken care of. Thanks for an amazing job, Norman!

My insurance was difficult to deal with and they suggested I withdraw my storm damage claim. Fossil Roof went the extra mile to help me with my insurance company. They sent a professionally completed roof inspection to my insurance and dealt with the insurance company for me. The insurance ultimately approved the claim and I now have a new roof, gutters, screens, and a re-stained fence thanks to Fossil. I highly recommend Fossil.

If you need roof work done, there are 2 mistakes to avoid - 1 - not calling Shannon to get you started. 2 - not having Fossil Ridge do the work. You want Fossil Ridge to replace your shingles. They arrived when they said they would, began working about 7, & 7 hours later, I have a new roof. I had them replace my whirlybirds with ridge vents, they even replaced my ugly exhaust vents with vents that look way better. I knew I had some roof decking that needed to be replaced, but once the shingles were removed, they discovered I had quite a bit more damage than I knew. They didn't just cover them with shingles, they actually replaced the damaged decking.
During my initial consultation with Shannon (she makes the consultation more personal, not just merely business), we discussed the work that would be performed & the what the cost would be. This was an insurance claim BTW. Honestly I didn't believe her. I really expected to have to fork out a bucket of money out of my pocket. But she was correct & I was wrong. Fossil Ridge went way beyond what they said they would do.
I am 100% happy with the work they did. They did a great job & cleaned up the mess.
No, this isn't a loyalty issue. I'm not their neighbors or went to school with some of them. Other than Shannon, I had never met any of them before today. Fossil Ridge did our roof nearly two years ago - a BEAUTIFUL roof, I might add - but even though it had been a long time, they were still more than happy to help me out. We needed to get the roof cleaned off ahead of having photos taken of the house (it was covered with sticks and leaves). We had a pretty short window to get it done so I called Norman and asked if he could send someone out to sweep/blow off the roof. He was more than happy to help out and had a guy come out in pretty short order. Now the roof looks beautiful again, ready for the photos. Some companies don't want to deal with you again after the money's all been paid, but Fossil Ridge is still willing to help out a former customer. It was a huge relief and yet another reason to use this company.

(original post): The March hailstorm did significant damage to our roof, gutters, windows, screens, etc. Debbie with Fossil Ridge basically served as our general contractor, managing each repair project. Freddie and his crew did an unbelievable job on the roof, and all of the various repairs turned out great. Debbie is professional, responsive, thorough, and she truly cares about her clients.
