We just moved into our newly built home by Florida Green Builders here in Palm Coast, Florida. When we started looking, we wanted a custom built to our needs, not in HOA, and Florida Green Construction, with cost savings on energy costs, resistance to destruction due to weather or disasters, and superior construction methods. We reviewed and visited more than 15 national and local construction companies. We whittled down to three, which had excellent construction techniques for the home. Due to COVID-19, one was unwilling to modify the primary unit as promised; the second ran out of development lots, and both turned out to be HOAs.
Green Builders is a face-to-face company that listens to our needs and explains their construction. Plus, it has taken us to projects under construction at different phases and completed homes, in which the owners welcome us to view and assess the quality of the homes. None had any discouraging remarks, only praise for their homes. We started with a basic plan and worked from there. They also assisted us with finding property to build. During the process, we frequently met Jeff, the company owner, and Gene, the COO. It is very unusual for a company to do this. They made suggestions based on their experience and our needs, but our thoughts on what we wanted came first. We had informed choices. We took a while to get all the pieces of the puzzle together, and they assisted us with acquiring a builders loan from a local bank. We made the final decision, and they supported it. It took longer to build, but the quality was excellent throughout the construction.
I went down frequently to communicate and collaborate during construction. The house is unique—one of a kind. There were always hiccups, which were quickly resolved by Jeff, Gene, Andrei, and Richard, their staff. The house is very quiet, and with the ICF and Foam insulation, it is very good at maintaining resistance to heat down here. Even during the construction phase, when we visited, you could feel the difference before the air conditioning. The layout is excellent. One floor, no stairs, and broader hallways if we ever need a wheelchair. Overall, I would highly recommend this company for the construction of your new home. View the pictures of the house.

I'm finally in my ICF home. I can't believe how quiet and modern it is. When you ring the doorbell outside the door you can't even hear it in the house. That's how quiet these houses are. Not to mention hurricane and storm and fire resistant.

After living in South Florida through several hurricanes, we began searching for a home builder with a specialty in ICF. Florida Green Construction was a match for our needs. The preconstruction phase was quick. Now, we feel blessed to call our new house "home" and each day we look forward to many new memories. Both Chris and I love our new home built by Florida Green Construction. The temperature stays within a couple of degrees of what we set it for each day. Having all LED lighting is a plus. Plenty of lights for each room which is a great plus. There were some minor fixes that were addressed quickly by FGC. We love the ICF walls that help greatly with keeping the outside noise outside.

My ICF house is the house of my dreams! The company did everything the way I wanted, enlarged the garage, created additional space for my work office, and changed the Kayla model to all my wishes. My certified green home has all the benefits of green buildings - a healthy environment, energy efficiency, and hurricane resistance. My home is my strong fortress! Thank you FGC! Thumbs up!

The house built for me by Florida Green Construction was built on time, very good quality and no STRESS. I only visited the job site four times since I live three and a have hours away. Most of communication was done through the phone and email with ease and clarity. The house was built as per plan and specifications and delivered as per contract .

Florida Greenhouse Construction is building our home . They are very family orienteded. Starting from the top of the staff , Mr Jeff Vasilevskiy, Gene W. Slone, Ms Mary Vasilevskiy, Mr Daniel they all do take pride in there work. They work very hard to please you. I am a person that like certain style, sometime I made drive a person crazy, but the staff are so willing to help us. I do appreciate all they are doing for us, but you have to realize we are human and we do make mistake, they has been some hiccups, but there is always a solution to problems, the most important then is to have patient. Our home isn't finish yet, we are looking forward to living in healthy environment, my husband and I, have allergic issues and one of the many feature of the house is to give you better living, free of dust.

Florida Green Construction built my home. I did my research and decided that I wanted an ICF home and went to their model. The model was nice, but not quite to my tastes aesthetically. Some builders offer a very limited range of options which was a concern for me. As I plan on living here for the next 40+ years I want to like the home, not just be satisfied with it. After speaking with them I felt confident that they would give me what I wanted. And they did. Every step of the way my input was the driving factor and the house came out nearly perfect. More than once I was told "I won't put anything in your home that I wouldn't put in mine" and it shows. Everything from solid oak stair treads to subtle trim work make the house look that much better, and feel that much more like a home. This is not a "cookie cutter" builder.

I can not recommend them highly enough.

I just recently moved out of one of their rentals and have to say it was probably the worst experience. If I could've rated 0 stars I would have. The home was cheaply built, all of our appliances broke if not once multiple times, and it was almost impossible to get someone to look at it. Furthermore, the property manager was extremely unprofessional and not very kind. She seemed to never know what she was talking about. Our lease was up May 1st and she made us give her a key before the 1st, she also showed up to the house unannounced before the 1st. She also charged us rent for half of the month of May because she didn't have tenants to move in. I would highly recommend to stay FAR away from this company, its not worth it at all.

Yairi was very nice to work with, nothing was too much trouble. She works tirelessly for her clients and is very honest and informative. She was always just a phone call away if we had any questions. She kept us informed throughout the entire process. These builders are really one of a kind, we felt as if they had our best interest in mind. Their materials, energy efficient, and healthy to live in home is everything we wanted especially after COVID. Having a Platinum Green Certified Home with ICF walls has really helped us feel like we've made such a smart investment. With their aging in place option, my husband and I don't have to worry about making any changes in the future to our home. Our new home is super affordable with our utility savings and their advance building codes really has given us a peace of mind for our future and staying competitive. I don't remember how many certificates they have but it was many. We were very impressed and now extremely happy!

The team was great to work with. They were very helpful, knowledgeable, and available when we needed them especially very responsive in showing us properties in which we were interested. We were on a bit of a short timeline and they worked with us to help expedite the process of finding and closing on Land. They were particularly helpful in the negotiation process. Their title of Certified Master Builders was no joke because when we finally started our building process, it was extremely smooth and successful with no headaches. We had many changes made to the original floor plan without so many extra charges. The Team is one of a kind; it felt as if Yairi would always put our interest first. She was thoughtful, and mindful of our situation especially when it came to our health and keeping our family safe by suggesting ICF walls. Now, I'm saving almost 73% on my utilities, breathing in clean fresh air, living in a certified platinum green home. Quality living, we are grateful!

We have stayed in a florida green home with some friends who built it last year and it is very well built and a storm came by, but we could not hear any thunders, very well insulated! The ICF walls are so thick, we felt very safe! The owners and office personnel are like family, so friendly and helpful and patient! Cannot find a better builder in Palm Coast!

Florida Green Construction is the best choice for an environmentally friendly house. I was worried at first that constructing a green house was going to break the bank for me, but the price was very affordable! I'm so happy that I picked Florida Green Construction.

It's important to note that I feel so safe in my house, even during hurricane season! I've never felt this sense of security in any domicile since I moved to Florida.

I can say that thanks to my new home, my electric and water bills have drastically reduced and I have an overall better quality of life. I get sick much less often and, again, that feeling of security has really lowered my anxiety.

Finally, the best part of the construction experience was definitely the staff! They were very timely in their responses to my inquiries and were really supportive in helping me build my dream home that leaves less of a carbon footprint. They are also very friendly and provide excellent service.

My wife and I are very pleased with our new 1500+ SF green home. I was very pleased to see that my electric bill for Sept. was around $50. vs the $140 we had in West Palm Beach. Also, as the Florida Green staff said, our Homeowner insurance was a third what it was in West Palm. The entire staff at Florida Green, Jeff, Yelena, Daniel and Gene are so personable and accommodating, they feel more like family to us than just a business.

Back then he has a radio show and was excellent in explaining why “green” construction matters and all benefits for the health as well as money savings. Overall I had a great experience. Gene is experienced and honest general contractor who has knowledge and ability to answer all our questions. Daniel also was helping us along the process and provided us pictures with updates on each step of construction. My house is ICF house which gives me and my family piece of mind when another hurricane approach. My wife and I purchased a green home (Palm model) from Florida Green Construction during December 2017. From our initial meeting with Florida Green Construction through the closing process we were very impressed with the professionalism of all the employees and the personal attention we received. We could not be happier with our new home - the workmanship is exceptional, the "green" aspects of the home are impressive, and the staff at FGC were always there to answer any questions and make recommendations. The super insulated roof, solid wall structure (ICF construction), and special AC/ducting system do a great job of keeping the home at a consistent temperature which saves on utility bills and suppresses outside sounds. It also makes a big difference with the air circulation and air freshness which are immediately noticeable. Dust accumulation is greatly reduced and the quality of the air is excellent both of which are especially important if you have allergies. We have already recommended Florida Green Construction to family and friends and would use them again if we decided to build a green home for rental purposes.
