Another positive experience at Flood Mazda Service. My ancient Miata went in for an oil change and a headlight replacement, but in the complimentary inspection, technician Allan's keen eye found some other issues (control arm, tie rod, ball joint) that a car owner really doesn't think about, which would be problematic down the line. The video he texted to me was highly informative. The repairs were made and my sweet ride felt like a rocket driving home. Special shout out to Steven in Customer Service for keeping me updated on the progress of the work.

Showed up to Flood Mazda with my FIL to look at a CX5 I saw on the internet, luckily it was still there, was greeted in the lot within 30 second by Sam originally, but my FIL gets hangry when he’s hungry so we had to go eat first, came back half hour later. Sam immediately greeted us right away and explained he was with a customer and introduced us to Lucas
Lucas our salesman, was very polite, patient and well spoken. My FIL, LITERALLY didn’t bring anything with him, because I guess he literally meant he wanted to “just look”. LMAO Anyway my FIL, really like the color combo, and decided to purchase. Negotiating the price was easy, they worked with us and we were happy, no back and forth, no this and that nonsense. Lucas’s was not at all pushy or trying to sell us things we didn’t need, he just asked once, we said no and that was the end.
I ended up putting the deposit down because again my FIL, LITERALLY didn’t bring anything, I looked at Lucas, he laughed and shrugged his shoulders.
Cody as well in the finance dept. was great and easy to work with. And we ALL know how we “HATE” the dreaded “finance dept”. Once again, Cody asked we declined and he was fine/happy with it, his demeanor did not change at all. Absolutely no push back at all or fear tactics!
Overall GREAT experience with everyone we came across at this dealership. Purchasing a car SHOULD be this easy and enjoyable.Even though Sam was with a customer, he saw us, immediately came over to acknowledge/greet us once again introduced us to another sales person, that shows care. There’s a saying, “there are never any bad soldiers, only bad leaders”. The sales team reflect management’s objectives or whatever you want to call it, whatever it was, it was great!
Thank you Flood Mazda, Sam, Lucas and Cody, my FIL was very happy.

We took the ride to check out a new car for my daughter. She was picking her "first new car" and decided to check out the Mazda CX5. Well, needles to say, SHE LOVED IT. We worked with one of the best sales men we have ever had the pleasure of working with, Greg Rimay and Anthony Deangelis Sales and leasing consultant. It was, believe it or not, a fast and pleasurable experience. You really could tell that Greg loved Mazdas. After the sale was final, Greg took his time to help Madison set up her cell phone and learn everything to do with the new car. I would for sure recommend everyone go see these guys if you are in the market for a new car.

I had a good experience with Flood Mazda. They provided a courtesy vehicle for the time it took my car to be repaired. The first courtesy vehicle had a flat tire a day or two after I got it and they swapped it out for another courtesy vehicle without a problem. I had also purchased an extended warranty on my vehicle which Flood Mazda worked with for some of the repair work.

I'm more familiar with the service side, although i did once purchase an SUV model from them a long time ago before the remodel. Sarah and Bruce are great, assets to the mazda driving community. I have a a 2018 Mazda 6 sport package, loaded with 2018 technology and i have a warranty on the computers/electronics. I haven't ever had a problem there, ever. So if you drive Mazda's and you live South of the Tower, I don't know why you would go anywhere else. I don't write a lot of reviews, so that is how you know I was happy to write this for them. Now get out there and find the open road Citizens! Get out in the Sun, by the water. It'll cure whatever ails ye.

My experience at Flood Mazda was amazing! My initial inquiry was online, I received a call from Jason and discussed options and a time to come in for a test drive! Once at the dealership, Lucas did a tremendous job of walking me through the vehicle including all the tech and functionality! Finally, Cody from finance was a pleasure to work with as we finalized my lease. Overall the team at Flood Mazda was super easy to work with. They have a customer focused approach and are very transparent about pricing. I would highly recommend searching for your next vehicle at Flood Mazda!

I went to get service, and I made a mistake on the appointment date for my regular oil change and routine check for my CX5. Flood Mazda service staff took care of my mistake, and I still got the entire service without any extra hassle. They always put the customer first and gave no matter what happened. I love the service from Flood Mazda, and it's the only dealership I want to be with. Thank you!

My girlfriend went in for an oil change only to be told that the control arms were shot. They charged her $1000 for the fix. She got a second opinion on the pricing, the mechanic said they could do it for $400. She called back with the second evaluation, only to be told (in a very belittling manor) that the parts themselves were $600 each; this would put the price at $1200 just for parts and north of $1400 including hours with that logic. She then went to a third mechanic who looked at the car, who reported nothing wrong with them at all. These guys are just scammers, and with other reviews, this seems to be a common trend.

Update (11/15/24) We did buy a car elsewhere and to confirm they were trying to take advantage of her - she got a 6.45% interest rate. Red flag!!!!!!
*******We did not buy a car with Flood. We really tried because the reviews were so stellar!
Our URI daughter and I tried to work with them, both of us filling out financing paperwork to underwrite/coborrow long distance. They- the financing department - never called us to discuss how we could make it work- and not the 11% interest rate she was quoted. (Did we need to be there in person? We still don't know.They never responded to our online application!) Did they run our credit? No clue.
My daughter has found other dealerships and salesmen who haven't belittled her for bringing a friend to the dealership with her. No, she didn't need a bodyguard; that was lame to say to her.
So disappointed we couldn't work together and experience the blissful experiences everyone else seemed to get, Flood.

I would never do business with this dealership again! After searching from a car to buy i decided on the cx5 because unlike the other cars in the same catagory I got more bells and whistles. There is no doubt that the car is beautiful. But i noticed almost immediately that there was a strange noise. I took the car Back immediately and was told they heard nothing. I went back a couple of weeks later someone else drove it and heard what i was talking about they took it out back to check it and came out and informed me i needed a new transmission I was shocked i had just bought this car and although it was used it was certified. When they saw how shocked I was they assured me i was cover completely and it wasn’t a big deal. No big deal my car was hardly a month old i was told it was nothing now I’m being told it was the transmission. Now i was told they needed to order me one and they would be in touch when they had it. Wait what your sending me away with this car with the transmission problem they tell me they have no loaners and there was nothing they could do. Even though when selling me the car part of their sales put h was I’ll never be without a car even with oil changes i would have a loaner. After much insisting i was told someone was returning a loaner later in the day and i could pick it up later over three months later and two loaners i get my car back it is still making the noise and of course they can not hear it and insist it’s a truck your use to a car that’s how its suppose to sound. So i leave with my car. A couple of months later maybe 6 i return and the car needs breaks ok cars need breaks i get it wear and tear so i agree and go sit down. They call me over 20 minutes later and i now need tirers so my car of less then a year needs new breaks and tires over 1000 dollars later they send me on my way. I keep hearing the noise but now im like i guess this is the way my truck is suppose to sound. Over the next year the car gets increasing loader i bring it in they can’t find anything wrong with it until 12 months later and less then 30000 miles i need new tires. I’m like ok i habe a warranty he says it’s not covered. I’m stumped how is that you told me that when i bought them. They don’t cover wear and tear I’m confused and mad as hell. Why would you tell me they were warrantied when i bought them. I am so frustrated i leave because i will be damned if I’m giving them anymore business. At this point i decided I’ll sell the car it’s not worth the problems. Now mind you these people told me they were giving me the best deal on this slightly used suv. I put 5000 dollars down i pay the taxes and fees out of my pocket and i pay alittle not much but extra every month. I now find out this wonderful car they sold me is worth 3 thousand less then what i currently owe. Disgusted i bring the car to have the tires changed at a tire store. I buy 4 of their best tires and ask them to alien the car as well. When i go back later to pick the car up. They tell me it’s all set but they are unable to do the alignment because the toes are frozen i have no idea what this means. He goes on to explain to me that because of have high end rims they are locked and they need to be unlocked by the dealer so it can be properly aligned. Tell him i can’t go back to the dealer can he refer me someplace else. So he does. And just as I’m about to leave he says to me listen don’t wait to long you will ruin your tires they will begin to go bald because of the way they are wearing and will make a noise when your driving. My mind was blown i explain to him what had been happening and you guessed it. My problem all Along. So thousands of dollars later I finally have a car that drives like a dream and makes no sound at all. Terrible customer experience

It’s a haul from where I live but worth the trip to Flood Mazda. The people are always friendly and accompanying and inside is so nice. It’s so easy to drop my car off for service and get a loaner to galavant around the area.

The dreaded trip to a car dealership is no longer a dreaded experience for our family. After working with Sam and Cody, our minds have been changed. They showed us how it can feel exciting and wonderful to buy a new car. Their knowledge, kindness and ability to connect with the customer made the experience truly unique. We will definitely be back for our next car and would highly recommend this showroom to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle.

Get ready to be scammed. Trust me; take your business FAR AWAY from any Flood dealerships. Still waiting for the tax and temp tag overpayment they owe me from two years ago. I was verbally assaulted and belittled over the phone by the general manager and when i finally hung up he called me back immediately to yell some more. Also the used car i bought threw an engine code after 200 miles and the entire engine had to be replaced; the cars computer showed the same codes had been cleared right before i bought the car. Stay away from these dishonest scammers.

This was the best experience I've ever had with a car dealership. I live in Pennsylvania and no one has a MX-5 or seems interested in selling me one around here. Flood was one of 2 dealerships between PA and Maine that had the spec car I wanted and the other dealership never replied to my inquiry. It's very much a sellers market and they could have made things difficult for me but they treated me like royalty.
From the first phone call Jason Palmari was awesome. I expressed interest in the car online late Monday night and he called me early Tuesday morning on his day off to get the process started. He didn't try to sell me on anything extra, got me a fair rate on the loan and I was able to pay the down payment over the phone and he was happy to hold the car for me for over a week until I was ready to pick it up.
He sent me pictures of the car, they put it up in the display lift so no one could mess with it.
I was supposed to pick up the car on a Saturday but my ride fell through. Jason helped me figure out I could take a train up and was happy to pick me up at the station. He showed up early and was happy to wait for me even though my train was delayed for over an hour. I told him I wouldn't mind the $15 uber from the station but he insisted he's a man of his word and waited. Everything was ready for me when I arrived at the dealership, I just needed to sign a few papers and I had my car and was on the road home in about half an hour.
At one point in the process I was a little anxious this was too good to be true but the other reviews here reassured me that this is just an exceptional business, not like any of the dealerships near me.
I also have to note there weren't any robocalls or automated emails with no human on the other end like the dealerships around me. I'm still getting spam calls from local dealerships who don't even want to sell me a MX-5.

I felt what ended up wrong with my vehicle the cost was way over priced. My engine light came on and it was because I didn’t put the gas cap on tight enough. 155.00 dollars later, that was one expensive tank of gas. All I had to do is tighten the gas tank if I had known. Will know next time!

Having formerly worked in dealerships for 10+ years, I can without hesitation recommend Flood Mazda for your next car purchase or service. I know the red flags to look for, and there’s none at Flood. With my work schedule I had to rely on email/text for most of my car buying process, and they were more than happy to do so without meeting me face to face. None of the “when can you come in and talk numbers?” games a lot of dealers play online. Their team emailed a detailed offer and I was able to come down next day and drive off in a new Mazda 3. Everyone was friendly, the atmosphere is high end yet relaxed and welcoming. If you too can’t quite afford a Porsche but want the same buying experience you’d get there.. I highly recommend Flood Mazda.

I stopped into this dealership some time ago with a friend and the building upgrade was very nice. What we didn’t like was how their seller Jason was making racist sounding remarks to his coworkers. It came off as a joke (we think) but at the same time us as customers felt pretty uncomfortable. We would still go back again though as they had free snacks and drinks while we waited.

Awesome dealership that is fast, friendly, and has a "family" atmosphere, not to mention a spotless facility wirh comfortable waiting area. I just moved back to R.I. with a recently purchased CX-5 and they helped me take off front window tint and do a pre-registration inspection to make sure all was set before I hit the DMV and then to complete the inspection and get my new R.I. plates on the car. It's cool that during the servicing they actually text you videos of the status of work on your vehicle too, which I'd never seen before and is a nice touch showing how much the technicians care. Of particular note were Steven and Frank in servicing; really professional, efficient, and patient in hearing and understanding my needs. Even though I live on the other side of the state, I'm glad to make the trek and call this location my dealership and looking forward to a long relationship taking care of my current vehicle and likely coming here when it's time for my next! Keep up the great work!

I had a great experience here. I bought a car through Sam. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgable about whichever car he was showing me. The whole experience felt simple and relaxed rather than someone trying to push something on me. I told him what I was looking for, he gave me some options, then gave his professional opinion on what he'd personally go with himself. After a little more personal research and gathering some second opinions, everything pointed me in the same direction that Sam pointed me in. I'm very happy with my new car and would certainly recommend this dealership, particularly working with this salesman.

Awesome experience today and yesterday with your parts department. I called yesterday and your representative Joaquin on the phone was able to find me the cam alignment bolt that I needed. Not only that but he was able to have the part delivered the next day to our shop. Other dealers told us 5 days to 2 weeks. Your delivery driver was also friendly as well. Keep up the great work, Joaquin is definitely a great asset to your team!

Had a great experience with Anthony and Cody. These two made everything straight forward. Anthony actually KNOWS what he is talking about both about the car, and in general which is refreshing compared to other people I've interacted with in the industry. No pressure, just facts and common sense.

Cody is the definition of a salt of the earth person. Total rarity in the finance office. Very clear explanations and is not afraid to re-run numbers while you figure out what is going to work best for your situation.

Big thanks to both of them, this was one of the first times buying a car didn't feel like it took years off my life. 5 stars earned.

Put down a deposit on a car was no contacted for almost a week after it's ship date then when I reached out they told me they sold it and another one would be in the same spec in a few days, a few days the next day when I asked for an update turned into a few weeks seemed decent when I went in but that changed quick
