Joe did a fantastic work on our front door! We are over the moon pleased! Great experience from the start. He was patient with us as we were trying to decide on styles, materials, colors etc and answered all our questions promptly. And when he arrived with the door it looked exactly like on the image we build! He was prompt, efficient and finished installation before we expected despite working alone. The quality of materials his craftsmanship and attention to details are unbeatable. We very so excited that before Joe left signed up for another project and ordered new windows and a sliding door for a patio!

I found Five Star Home Improvement on Google as a locally owned and trusted company here in Dickson County. I had a few home upgrades/improvements I wanted done that my husband couldn’t get to right away, so I called, and Joe Miller came to my home and quoted me with what I thought was a fair work quote for windows and a sliding rear door installation. After waiting a few weeks for the windows and doors to arrive, Joe came to my home early in the morning and got to work. His workmanship was good and he got done pretty quickly. He trimmed the interior of the windows and door with a nice casing, and new exterior aluminum trim to go with the vinyl siding. I thought his work was great, and so did my husband, who is very handy himself, but skeptical and picky with workmanship and detail. Joe takes pride in his work and is clean and detailed. After this, I ordered a couple more windows, and Joe came two weeks later and got them done, too. Now, my windows and new slider look amazing! I plan on using Joe for a few more improvement projects in the near future and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy home improvement specialist. Thank you, Joe!

Blazed through almost 10 windows and a bit more in a day despite being a one man operation that day. It stretched into half of a second day because there were supplies needed for a bit of custom work.

I just had my old front door replaced with a nice storm and front door combo. Joe did great work! The entire tear out and install process took about 3-3.5hrs. It was very professionally done, cleaned up, and left looking amazing! Joe was polite, honest, and a joy to work with from the start, through till the end. Joe did a great job adding 2 windows and putting metal trim on an exterior door frame. If you’re looking for quality work at a fair price, he’s your guy!

We had to have our back door/storm door replaced due to aging, weathering etc. Found joe on Angie’s list & we are super happy with everything. He was very nice, straightforward & to the point with the quote. I can’t handle salesmen for home improvement stuff after several bad experiences where they were pushy & wouldn’t leave my house, and Joe with 5 star made it so easy & I did not feel overstimulated or frustrated when he left so that’s even better lol. Waited about 4 weeks for the door to arrive & install to happen. They were fast & clean and the work is great. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience & we’ll definitely use him in the future as well as recommend him to our friends & family.

This truly was a 5 star experience. Joe and his son were thorough and efficient. They did all 4 of my condo windows and a shed door. I will also be using them in the future for my front door. He was very communicative throughout the whole process. He explained my warranty and showed me how to operate the new windows. He also explained why he was putting the windows in the way he was. Joe went above and beyond to make sure we were completely happy. He came out offered a great product at a fair price with no pressure. He does all the work himself and he knows his stuff, taking great pride in the detail. Mr. Miller did a quality job, doors are not only beautiful but they have made the house quieter and have definitely saved me money on my energy bills. I requested the doors to be two different colors, white interior and forest green exterior. Best money I ever spent.

Five Star installed an exterior door and screen door combo at my home. Easy process to measure and look over options in person. Door was ordered for custom fabrication same day. Got a call a few weeks later that the door was delivered and setup install date.

Looks great and they came back no questions asked a few months later to adjust the storm door which wasn't latching. Efficiency is night and day.

I can only sing praises for this company. They came and worked to understand what we needed, gave us a clear estimate and when the materials ordered arrived, came removed the old doors and windows, installed them quickly and professionally, cleaned up inside and outside our home and took all the scrap away. My only regret is that I don’t have more doors to replace.
