Our experience with Fire and Flood Services, Inc. left much to be desired. While there were some positive aspects, the overall service fell short of expectations, and the response to our complaints from the owner was disappointing.

To start with the positives, the delivery and setup of the dry out fans were handled efficiently, and the people we interacted with were friendly. Kudos to the team members responsible for this.
However, the problems arose in various aspects of the service.

The issues with communication and material removal were particularly concerning. We faced delays and miscommunications from the beginning, with technicians arriving late and not as promised.

The real problems began when they removed the vinyl plank flooring and drywall. The removal of the flooring was so poorly executed that it affected the undamaged areas across rooms, creating a cascading issue. Similarly, the drywall removal was problematic, requiring constant supervision from my husband to prevent further damage. The handling of in-floor heating pipes was especially concerning. It was disheartening to witness the lack of understanding among your personnel regarding the consequences of their actions. Their errors resulted in additional repair costs that we could have otherwise avoided.

Moreover, communication within the team was lacking, which further exacerbated the situation. When we tried to convey the situation, it seemed that the foreman did not fully comprehend the information provided by the on-site team. Despite my efforts to explain and provide additional photos, I never received the promised estimates. This unprofessional approach to communication left us with no choice but to seek our own repairs.

Our experience with Fire and Flood Services, Inc. was particularly distressing, given the already traumatic week we were going through. It is challenging to find experienced professionals nowadays, but the issues we encountered in terms of communication, timeliness, and expertise were deeply disappointing.

The company’s response to our concerns was unsatisfactory as well. They did not adequately address the problems outlined in our initial complaint.

In conclusion, while there were positive aspects to our experience with Fire and Flood Services, Inc., the overall quality of service and the handling of issues left much to be desired. It is important for any service provider to take customer concerns seriously and address them appropriately. We hope that the company can learn from this experience to improve its services in the future.

Fire and Flood services isn't finished with my home yet. However, I couldn't wait to tell everyone how absolutely amazing they are. My house caught on fire and they were here that day on a weekend to assess damage and sent a cleaning crew out the next day to ensure my home was as safe as possible. They have been there anytime of day I have wanted to call them and worked me step by step through the whole insurance process. As I have never had to claim anything on insurance before this was extremely helpful. I would recommend their services to anyone I know and actually already have. I will post again once the job is complete.
