Chimney re build : The owner responded promptly to my call and came to the house to give us an estimate. The job was scheduled immediately. The crew arrive promptly and worked non stop all day with no breaks. The father oversaw the entire operation. There were two brothers who were extremely nice and worked well together. They were her for three days rebuilding the chimney.. on the second day another person came to help , very personable and he worked well with the two brothers.. when they realized on the third day that rain was on its eay a third crew came to do the flashing and and clean up. They cleaned up everything at the end of the job. The finished product was great and the top of the chimney was done nicer than my old one. I have used them before and will use their service again. There was a small accident with a chunk of cement that fell and hit a pipe and the owner paid for the repair without any problem. I was very happy. .

Just to get a quote the guy proceeded to try to open the door handle as he was gently knocking to get into my home. Thank god it was locked. Being a female especially and no one else home at the time this put me in a very very uneasy feeling. It is first off unprofessional, it's not something you do to anyone ever by feeling you can walk into someone's home and not even try to announce yourself. The quote on top was ridiculous and didn't even try to provide a solution to my problem. Please be aware.

Good luck if you make the mistake of setting an appointment with Father & Son Exterior. Don't count on them showing up or even notifying you they are not coming. I rarely leave a negative review... rarely, as in almost never. But Father & Son Exterior is getting one star from me today for their unbelievably pathetic customer service.

I contacted Father & Son Exterior to inspect and clean my fireplace and chimney, and they scheduled an appointment for a four-hour window from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The appointment was on Saturday, so I spent my time cleaning our garage and shed while I waited for a call on my cell. They said they would call when the technician was 20 minutes out from my address. At 1:15 I received a text on my cell phone showing I had a missed 1:00 call on my landline with a voicemail. I checked the voicemail, and it was Father & Son Exterior calling and leaving a message on my landline to call back to confirm someone is at home.

At 1:18 pm (18 minutes after the voicemail on my landline) I called the Father & Son Exterior office to confirm I was here and had been here all morning waiting for a cell phone call. I was told by the Father & Son operator that because I had not answered the 1:00 call, the technician had "left my area", and I would have to reschedule for next Saturday (a week away.)

I asked the operator why they had not used the cell number I had left them, and she had no reason to give me for not calling my cell. She just again stated that I could reschedule for next Saturday. I again told the operator that my appointment had been for today/Saturday, for 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. When I missed the 1:00 call and returned the voicemail 18 minutes later (18 minutes into the four hour window) she just repeated the technician "had left the area, and would not be coming today." When I told her I was extremely unhappy with their lack of service, and that I would be leaving a negative review, her answer was, "Have a wonderful day."

I cannot leave a review of Father & Son's expertise or the quality of their work, as they never showed up for the job. But I can definitely review the inept way they handle service calls. They made an appointment for a four-hour window, and then cancelled the four-hour window when the customer didn't immediately answer their call on a wrong line. If they had called the cell I number I had specifically given them (instead of the landline attached to my Home Advisor account), I would have immediately answered their call. Their mistake became my problem.

Think twice before scheduling an appointment with Father & Son Exterior -- make sure you have lots of extra time to waste when they don’t show up.

If there's zero star i would give 0 star . please beware of this Greedy, dishonest company. they are unprofessional. poor quality of job. they 'll never showed up if you call them to come back to repair something due to bad quality of job after you paid them. if you received their ads/coupon on mail, just throw away.

Great experience with Father and Son, nothing but top notch service. Very quick and efficient. Would definitely recommend! I love my new roof and chimney, done at a great price.

Wow. I had a 4-hour window booked from 9am-1pm for Edwin to come clean my gutters as agreed to one week ago. Never showed up. I called the office and the woman said he'd be here by the end of the day. It's 530pm. Never showed up. You've been warned.
