Barak is very professional. He is responsive in his communication when scheduling work, very punctual, and thorough in his work. Billing practices are transparent - provides quotes ahead of time and the payment method is easy. He is also honest in his approach to work - does not ask you to do more work than necessary. We had a very positive experience working with him and his team.

This is long overdue so sorry about that. He redid our bathroom and it was beautiful. He gave suggestions that would make our bathroom nice and efficient. He’s very responsive so I can reassure that you won’t find a better person to do many things besides fixing bathroom.

Was able to help me in a timely manner and complete the job within a week. We had a leak from upstairs...he came and opened up the drywall to let it air out on Friday and came back on Monday to do the job. He then came back on Tuesday to finish. Excellent and professional service. Barak N. of Fair Value Handyman services returned all phone calls promptly and politely and arrived on time to do the work. He fixed our broken ceiling (plastering, sanding and painting it) so that it looked like new. He also rehung some blinds that were in a tough location, finding a solution to the problem. He was very neat and cleaned up before he left. He is the most polite and efficient contractor I have worked with. I highly recommend him for your renovation needs, large or small!

Barak was amazing to work with. He arrived early to do the job and took time to listen to my concerns and helped walk me through his ideas on how to tackle the project. Barak has been our go to person for all the maintenance issues with our rental property. We live abroad and we need somebody we trust to take care of all the small things happening there and able to assist any issues tenants might have. Barak and his team were outstanding, and he lives up to his name! He listened to what we wanted, communicated during the entire process, and is very resourceful and creative (which is an invaluable asset especially when things don't go as planned). It's hard to connect to a contractor these days - they don't call you back or they completely ghost you. Fortunately for us, our experience with Barak was the complete opposite.

We had him address several items in our condo in Hoboken (it was awesome that he was so local!) - renovating master bathroom, regrout and replace vanity in the 2nd bathroom, and painting the entire apartment. The results were amazing!

We had a pretty tight timeframe to get this done (less than 2 weeks!), and he delivered right on time! Even with this time pressure, Barak was very thorough and meticulous, and while there were some hiccups along the way (not his fault) he always had a practical/creative solution to address the issue that kept us on track.

He knew we were trying to stay within budget while achieving a certain look and suggested materials that were less expensive without compromising the quality or aesthetic. He was cost conscious and didn't push us to spend more than what we were comfortable with. He also pointed out items that were reusable rather than having them replaced.

Make him your first call! You won't be disappointed! And if you are into supporting local businesses, this is one to get behind!
