If I could rate his work less than 1, I would. Mike quoted repairs to my seamless copper gutters and made a complete mess out of them. What once caught water now leaks over the entire home. 3600sq ft. Whenever I reached out, I'd get blown off. He and his goons showed up after completion for final payment (In cash) and never returned to fix the repairs required. He deleted my contact info after several attempts to get him back to resolve the issues. Then claimed he was hospitalized and never made an attempt to rectify. Worst experience ever and I would never recommend him to anyone for any work at all. I've had to hire a new contractor to repair, which cost me just as much as what he'd initially charged me. Disgusted & he should be ashamed to call himself a contractor.

Very disappointed with my copper gutters I had done by Mike and his crew. They were installed last year and they work worse than my 16 year old aluminum gutters. The copper is pretty but they do not function at all solely because they were not installed correctly. They did not angle them to drain properly therefore every rain I have water going everywhere and spilling over to places it is not supposed to go. Also Mike did not solder 2 pieces together therfore creating a leak in a 50 ft run of copper. I alerted him that it wasn't finished and asked him to come back to complete and has never responded in a year. There is also a gap in one run where the water does not even catch the gutters due to the gutter being too far out. In that spot the water then runs straight down the side of the house and into the window. They also began to install the gutters in the wrong place in 2 spots. After alerted they took out screws and had to add new pieces of copper to the incorrectly measured piece to make it the proper length. Those holes that the screws made that were now not in use were never sealed thus creating a massive leak into the house anytime it rained.

I've been trying to contact Mike for a year, leaving messages that were never returned trying to give him a chance to fix issues with the gutter and to stand by his work. But that is not the case.

I chose Mike because his quote was a little lower and he seemed like a good guy. Don't make my mistake and pay a little more for a job to be done right and a company that will fix any mistakes that happen in a job.

I would not recommend Excel to anyone and would caution you when thinking about to call.

Excellent work very professional. My house looks perfect with my new copper gutters and standing seem copper roof over my bay window. I would recommend Excel Copper Works to anyone. I'm looking forward to working with Excel again.
