Troy assessed drainage problem on our property in Liberty Hills. I also had City of Franklin Storm Water Management look at the issue. City had backtracked to 2007 where I had gotten permit for retaining wall and appropriate drains in order to fence in as much as my property for large pups as possible. Both had same solution: drainage ditch Troy went a step further and did a 75 foot ditch with two collection boxes and angled to a drywell. All was accomplished in ONE day with Troy and Austin. Sunday it rained hard. No water line on current fence! No mud bogging dogs! We are so thankful!!

We are super pleased with the work Troy did! He did some grading in our backyard and now we have the perfect spot to set up our pool! He got us on his schedule quickly and everything was completed on time.

We had Troy and his crew do some grading and leveiing work in our back yard. They also moved some drains. They did a great job and Troy was a pleasure to work with. We also had him lay some sod for us, which I think was a subcontractor, and they could have kneeded the sod together better, there are gaps and some die back( which is expected with sod). But overall we are very pleased with the work and would recommend Troy to anyone and use them in the future. Thank you Troy and crew

Worst money we've ever spent! The new drive they cut in looks awful and isn't functional. Our main drive they were supposed to work on to prevent it from washing out was flooded again after 2 rains. On top of that they ripped out our septic lines and left them that way for 2 weeks until we had raw sewage leaking into our yard. They tried to blame the damage on someone else and "did us a favor" by not charging us to finally fix it. Our quote included several pieces of equipment which were switched out at the last minute for much smaller and different equipment that was not adequate to complete our projects. Save yourself the money and trouble and rent the equipment to DIY!

Troy is very knowledgeable in both grading and drainage. He was able to walk me through multiple solutions for my clients on how we could grade their yard or install a French Drain when they needed help on their new home. The contractors were very professional. After receiving an estimate, the excavators came out and we’re able to back fill around my above ground pool in one day. They also were able to spread out the dirt that was left over making it easy for me to prep my yard for next spring. If I need this type of work done again, I’ll definitely reach out to them.

We needed water diversion and after listening to our story, watching the videos we provided of our water problem, and studying the land, Troy fully explained what the work he suggested would accomplish in that effort. They came when they said they would after that week of rain, all employees were friendly, patient, and conscientious in their efforts to get things right, they cleaned up everything when they finished and we have a one year warranty on the project. We have had other landscape companies out to view the situation, and some were way too high, and some didn’t want to bother, but Troy reached out to us immediately when I posted on Facebook that I was looking for a water diversion company. He also provides video of the work they do and explains what they were repairing/fixing in yards and pastures on their Facebook page. Check it all out. Our experience with Excavation Contractors could not have been any better! Troy was always quick to respond and extremely professional. They were thorough, accommodating (taking special care with our landscaping), and timely. Troy was excellent at explaining what needed to be done and how they would accomplish it. They cleaned up our lawn afterwards and honestly left it better than it had been to begin with. I am certain they do many things, but ours was a drainage problem during medium to heavy rains. I hired Excavation Contractors for a creekside remediation project following the 2021 Franklin Flood. Troy was prompt in answering my initial request, conducted a job walk with me within a week, and provided me a well stated proposal and a fair cost estimate. Troy also communicated with me regularly about the availability of his crew and our start date. Knowing civil works, I was unconcerned with the delay in the start of my project as you can’t do anything about the weather. Besides, I wouldn’t want Troy to pull his crew off my project just to start on another.

Once the project began, I was introduced to Wesley, the muscle behind Troy’s brains. Wesley is one of those guys you just love. Very respectful of our properly, a great communicator, hard working, and just an all around good guy. Wesley was there every day until the job was finished.

We had a serious drainage problem on the side of our property when it rained.
