We really liked Ken when he came out to get eyes on our project in early November. We need to finish off our large attic space (it’s like another house) to create space for our teenage kids who are currently in the basement; and eventually use it for in-laws and guests. The plan was to give him 2 weeks to wrap up an ongoing project, and he was going to be bringing back an hvac and electrical guy to look things over. He never reached back out to us, so we reached out to him. Several times. He hasn’t returned any of our calls. To be honest, it took several weeks and calls in the beginning to get him out in the first place. I know he’s busy and has a small crew, but non-responsiveness shows complete disregard for the client. We wanted Ken to do this job and that was to our detriment.

I would definitely use Empire Building again. Ken was great and did everything he said he was going to do.

The crews showed up on time, explained all of our options, and they answered all of our questions. They did beautiful work at a very reasonable price, and they cleaned up the work site thoroughly every day. Neighbors have remarked "what a nice facelift" our house has undergone, and we absolutely agree. Working with Empire has been a great experience, and we certainly would hire them again.
