We used Elite to redo our gutters in August of 2024. The initial consultation was great, the guy we talked with seemed very knowledgeable and took our wants and ideas into consideration. We quickly set up a time within the next week or so the get the work done and all was well.
The day of the project the workers showed up on time and got right to work. They discussed any problems they ran into with us and consulted us before doing anything that would have costed extra to fix (one of the sides of our house had rotting wood that would not have held the gutters on, so they asked us if we wanted to approve them adding new planks to that area, which we did approve). They left around 5 pm with a few hours of work left saying they would be back to finish the job.
This was our first big project on our house so we didn't quite know what kind of timeline to expect for them to return. We waited a few days and no one showed up. We waited a week and then 2 weeks thinking maybe they were booked out with other appointments and projects. Finally we got an invoice in the mail and we decided to call and see what was going on. The person on the phone said she didn't know that the work wasn't completed and told us not to pay until they came out and finished. We set up an appointment for the next week. The workers came out again and were on time and finished up the job. We paid and were happy with the work. They said they would email us a receipt and that was it. We never did receive the receipt.
The next time it rained we realized one of the downspouts wasn't connected properly and dripped water straight down onto the ground. Not a big deal, we can probably fix that ourselves (even though we paid people to do this job for us). A few months go by and I go to put Christmas lights on the gutters and realized that the leaf guards we previously discussed adding on to the front gutters during our initial consultation weren't there. Just open gutters. Ok, that's fine as long as we didn't pay for them.
I emailed the company at this time (a few months after project completion) to get an itemized receipt for my own house records and to make sure we didn't pay for leaf guards we didn't get. They responded promptly and said they would put it together and email it back to me. I went a month with no correspondence. At this time I reached out again to check up on the receipt and have gotten radio silence ever since.
We got our work done, but I was disappointed with the way they conducted their company, especially since it is a local company and so close to our house. We will probably go with a different company for future projects.
Built a shed, garage. site was lower than surrounding lawn, so water accumulated near by. My number one issue was to raise surrounding grade and build new shed. Project manager said.." they will come in and "shoot" the area, ( I assume survey type stuff) never happened. New shed built, still have water standing near by.
Same project manager said to me after new shed built...They should have built the shed with higher foundation. REALLY!!! That was the main issue, and they did not complete it to our satisfaction.
Landscape crew....after shed built, had to add topsoil, because the concrete crew boss drove his truck over existing lawn and made BIG ruts in lawn way away from the area they were working. guy driving the truck said...Im sorry, we will make it right....over and over he said it.
Elite and concrete crew never seemed to communicate.
Landscape crew DID NOT fill in ruts completely, so we had to have them come back again to RE DO parts. Very shoddy job spreading seed, lots of weeds either in topsoil or seeds they used.
Overall-shed seems OK, But as described above was a clown show.
Consider very carefully if you use this company. Landscaping crew was the WORST!!
Great experience working with Joe and Elite. Our insurance after hail hit us hard was a complete pain to work with. Kept lowballing everything and rejecting claims for what was really needed. Joe helped immensely working through every step it required and providing paperwork when I needed it. The work was done quickly and professionally but because of insurance he was patient and helpful for almost 2 years while I battled for the claim. Highly recommended
