Olivia was able to create a design that transformed an outdated 9x9 bathroom to an elegant solution which Incorporated all of the features we hoped for perfectly. She listened carefully to what we wanted and guided us through the creative process, offering a variety of ideas for us to choose from. Kevin, the project manager, was very responsive to questions and changes and came by daily to ensure that everything was going as planned. They were both great communicators. Every contractor who came out was courteous and knowledgeable and provided professional craftsmanship. We are thrilled with our new bathroom and would recommend them without hesitation.

We hired Elegant to finish our basement. The end result was well beyond just a finished space. Was very happy with our roof replacement. Good communication and easy to work with. The team started at 7am and completed by 7pm! Everything was cleaned up and a very courtesy crew. Using them to build a garage next!

We recently used Elegant Builders for project at our home in Greendale, WI. Our original garage foundation was cracked and sinking on one side. We needed the garage rebuilt including its foundation with footings, and replacement of driveway ad part of the patio. In summary, Elegant Builder satisfied our expectations, fulfilled all aspects of the contract, had excellent onsite and offsite staff including subcontractors and project manager. They were the lowest bid for expense and absolutely met expectations. The project was finished in record time and there was hardly a day the project manager or some work crew wasn’t onsite to work.

This was more difficult and expensive than we expected since it was an attached garage. Elegant Builders worked hard with us to brainstorm ways to keep the rebuild within a budget we could afford since it amounted to half the cost of what we spent on the whole property ten years ago – sticker shock! Elegant gave us the lowest initial bid which was $50,000 below the highest bid we received. After that they were also able to discuss finishes and options, we could use to get the look we want at a lower price without sacrificing anything.

We had a full foundation poured with footings below frost level, the whole garage erected and roofed to tie into our existing roof without having to replace all of the roof ($ savings). They replaced our driveway and tied into our existing sidewalk. They also re-poured the patio sections taken our for the demolition phase. They were great at reusing our newish garage door, allowed us to purchase the doors we wanted and deducted from our costs so we could get exactly what we wanted at whatever price we wanted to spend (I found a great clearance deal so also $ savings). I had been worried that with a limited budget and being such a small project for a contractor that we would only have a this-or-that choice.

As some issues arose – window frame needing replacement due to ant damage, and the driveway cracking from the construction trucks, I was contacted immediately, and solutions were discussed. The crew members – demo, building, siding, roofing, concrete, electrical – were all friendly and respectful of the property. They were always there on time whether it was 7am for demo or 2pm for siding. Their siding contractor even adjusted his schedule so as to not disturb a party our neighbors were having.

The only hurdles we faced with this contractor was in a few areas of planning and communication. This aside, when we did hit hurdles, EB (Nick, Brian, and Frank specifically) were excellent at rectifying anything even when it meant calling in additional help, more contractors, or re-negotiating the project. We were never put out on those occasions. The work happened so quickly; we never had an overall project timeline to follow. All of the materials and crews were available one after the other so there was no lag in the process and no waiting on orders. This made daily updates from our manager necessary – he was available by text all day long, and a few changes made on the fly got missed in communication. They never closed out the project until we were completed satisfied with the work. I would happily work with Elegant Builders again.

Brian and his team did an amazing job finishing our basement. From design to completion they were communicative and made sure the work was being done in a timely manner without sacrificing quality. They also did a major remodel to my parent’s home and the finished product was amazing. We will definitely use Elegant Builders for future projects!

Elegant builders did a great job on our complete kitchen remodel. Multiple walls were moved and removed, the entire layout of our kitchen was changed and the final result was just what we wanted. Elegant Builders were referred to me from a cousin that had just had them do work on their home and were super happy. I needed a new roof with multiple issue repairs, soffit, fascia, gutters, leaf guards and I threw in some can lights for the patio. Brian and Nick are amazing. We hired Nick and Brian to completely renovate our main floor kitchen and dining room, and also finish our basement which at the time was just concrete. Add any positive adjective you want here cause I could use them all to describe the phenomenal job they did! There was little to no stress at all during the whole process and even when we changed our minds on things and switched things up, Nick had NO problem making the necessary changes. He also did a great job at helping us with selections and giving us good ideas to do for our remodel (he could be an interior designer as well!) The team at Elegant Builders was very detailed and any time we had a question on pricing or quotes or anything they got back to us right away with detailed explanations and breakdowns of everything.
