Edge Melt Systems

We've had the Edge Melt System for the past 10 years. We just updated the system after replacing our roof. This is an excellent product and works especially well for our steep roof. It eliminates all icicles and turns on/off with just a switch. Very happy with the product.

Had a valley on a metal roof that at times developed a ice dam and would get drips in the house. Local handyman tried gutter cable strung out in the valley. It worked for about a year before the ice dam was back. Searched for a product specifically for a valley on a metal panel roof and saw Edge Melt Systems had what I needed. They were too far from me to provide installation, but were very helpful with details on how I could do it. It has worked out great and I am inpressed by the quality of their materials. No flimsy clips or penetrations. I would tust these guys! They seem to know what is right to fix your problem.

Had this system installed on the front of my Cape Cod which always got severe icicles each winter. Had it wired so i could turn it on and off with my iPhone (bluetooth socket).
Works perfectly and the product support was great! Highly recommend.

Great product, service, and staff. I've had ice damming and frozen downspouts on a tough area of the house that dropped more than 20 feet down and had a turn. This area used to be a hazard when it came to winter as the water and ice would build up on the stairs below.

This past year, using the system with an on/off switch, I've had no ice damming or frozen downspouts. There was one day that I didn't turn it on, and knocked on the downspout, which was frozen, and within a day of leaving the cable system on, it was already flowing freely.

I was experiencing ice dams on the front of my north facing condo every winter since moving to Wisconsin. I first researched the best heating cables on the market and then I found a local contractor that uses them. That is how I learned about GSB Services and their Edge Melt System. Product performed great through a Colorado winter. I did a DIY install and had no issues. Support on the product was exceptional and any question was quickly responded to.

Had the edge Melt System installed on our house last winter 2021for ine Dams. IT worked GREAT did not have any problems all winter. Went with the upgraded control panel so just turn it on and it ready to go. Love it !

The Edge Melt System kept my gutters and roof edges clear of ice and snow all winter. It worked great. NO ICE DAMS! NO WATER IN THE HOUSE! My son has them too and they worked for him also.

Purchased our Edge Melt Controller model DC-AS42 a couple years ago and installed it ourselves. It performs great and we recommend to anyone who needs to prevent ice damage. I like that I can manually control or set it to automatic and forget about it.I like the quality too!

I could not be more pleased with Edge Melt Systems and the ice melt solution they designed for me. I worked with Justin, who was extremely responsive throughout the process. I sent pictures of our very complicated roof. We have a sunroom with 15 skylights and some difficult intersections. Over the years, we have had ice dam issues resulting in leaks into our sunroom. The Edge Melt System resolved this once and for all. I installed the system myself, with Justin's guidance. It was easy and actually fun to install. Our electrician did the rest. We even had a problem with a faulty temp sensor and it was replaced promptly, which I appreciated. I highly recommend this solution. After 15 years of looking for an answer to our problem and not wanting to have to abandon some or all of our skylights, this did the trick. Well worth the cost, which is reasonable in my opinion having looked at so many options over the years.

Excellent product, but even better customer service. Difficult to find this type of service these days, available, responsive, stand behind their products. Be assured they will not try to sell you something you don't need. Product eliminated our issues with ice build up on the roof. 100% satisfied, I highly recommend GSB if you have issues with ice on your roof.

What a great product and a great team at GSB Services, LLC (Edgemelt Systems)! After one full winter of operation, the valley panel system we installed last fall has worked flawlessly keeping the snow and ice dams from forming in the valleys of our metal roof.

Wish I would have installed this system in 2010 when we added the great room to our log house creating these valleys. Would have likely saved us from replacing the metal roofing and underlayment in 2018 that was new in 2010.

We were plagued with ice dam problems since we bought our home nearly 20 years ago. Raking the roof and chopping ice were a common occurrence yet we still had leaks and damage. Then we found this wonderful company. They were very professional and explained all our options. The installation process was high quality and now were are ice dam free. What a feeling of calm when you see those melted areas in the valleys and edges. I highly recommend them!

I wish we would have done this sooner!! No more ice to worry about at our back door. It is a great product and the install was quick!

The installation was done efficiently. All arrangements for electrician were made for us so the project could be completed as promised. The system worked, no more icicles on the roof and the company was always available for texts or phone calls when we had a question.

After installing the controls, cable and wiring it to the electric panel it does a tremendous job of clearing the gutter. Now no more icicles! This is a great product. It has been in service since the fall of 2016.
