Paul at ECS has worked on several of our metal buildings (metal building contractor) and has always been responsive and had nothing but great reviews from our clients. He's easy to talk to and a great business partner. I will be referring clients to him and ECS in the future.

We had a great experience working with ECS gutters. Paul and Carrie are great communicators. Paul worked with us to get the best look for our house and not have too many downspouts. He had good ideas and options for several areas. We ended up trenching and adding a drain in 2 areas. One of these areas required pulling up paver bricks and reinstalling and that was done seamlessly. Paul was also there working with the crew for the install. The guys were all very nice and I felt comfortable with them. It took about a day and a half for our job and we got it done just in time for the rain!

Working with Carrie and Paul has been a pleasure. My HOA was not cooperative, to say the least, delaying the project for 65 days. On separate occasions Paul submitted plans, diagrams, and more precise diagrams, along with Carrie’s understanding and support we finally received approval from the HOA. Never a doubt.

Paul and the crew were outstanding to work with on site. They all take pride in their work, are customer focused, and work with an extremely high level of professionalism and courtesy. Even through some issues around the trench digging and irrigation lines the project kept moving forward through the day, and the team never lost their sense of humor or teamwork. Can’t say enough great things about this company. Carrie is amazing and on top of everything. We had our gutters installed a couple of years ago. Woke up one morning and must of Had a coyote try to get a bunny going up the downspout and tore it to pieces. I called Carrie, she had everything set up and ordered in no time. All repaired in a short amount of time. If you need gutters, this is an amazing company.

Totally awesome job!

Paul and his crew did an unbelievably great job on the gutters and drainage for my house. They did some things that were not in the original estimate at no additional charge.

One of the drain lines from a gutter had to be routed under pavers. They removed some of the pavers and kept track of locations of the pavers as they were removed. They reinstalled each of the pavers in the same exact location from where they were removed. The walkway with the pavers looks the same as it did before the drainage line was installed. If I did not know better, I would have assumed that the entire walkway was installed after the drainage line was completed.

The prior drainage for the front walkway was incorrectly done. The grading was higher between the walkway and the main drainage channel causing ponding in the walkway after rain. Paul and his team deepened the drainage trench to achieve the proper grading so that the rain drains from the walkway. This was not part of the original work request, and they did the work AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.

Portions of the yard has an area where river rock was a little sparse and another area were ground-up tires was a little sparse. Paul and his team added more river rock and ground-up tires AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.

Paul and his team made the property look better than it did before they did their work. Paul treats your property in the same manner that the owner would. He pays attention to details that matter and goes well beyond most contractors. He did much better than a good job. He did a 5+ star job!

I enthusiastically recommend using ESC for gutter and drainage work.

The gentleman came to my home to do the measurements, explained everything to me and let me know the sequence of events moving forward; receiving an estimate based on measurements and materials, accepting the estimate, ordering the materials, and scheduling the install. On the scheduled day of installation, the crew was on time, professional, cleaned up after themselves. After the install the gentleman walked around with me to show me what they had done and why.

Just all around good people and do quality work, I'm so glad I found them.

I had rain gutters installed on my patio a year or so ago and they did an excellent job. Recently, I had a new AC unit installed, and the condensation line was routed to the gutter resulting in the side of my patio being wet every time the AC was running. Called them up and they offered to install a new down spout that directed the water from my side patio to the grassy area of my yard. Extremely satisfied customer!

ECS recently installed new gutters and roof drains on our small industrial building in west Phoenix. Paul was professional and had great communication during the quoting, contract and installation process. We will use ECS again for our commercial buildings.

I’ve never had gutters installed and I also have a pretty old condo so home improvement is kind of challenging sometimes. Joaquin (sp?) came out to install and he was absolutely amazing! There were a couple of snafus before we could start and he was so calm and reassuring and KIND that I knew I was in good hands. He was also super informative and helped me pick a color (which is good since I had picked the wrong color on my own originally) which I so appreciated. He definitely knows his trade. He also made sure I understood what they were doing and listened when I had questions. He really put me at ease and never made me feel dumb or talked down to. If I have any issues and/or need gutters again somewhere else, I would request Joaquin again! Also, shoutout to Carrie for being so responsive in the office - we had numerous phone calls, texts, and emails and she always did what she said she would do and she did it quickly. Thank you!

What a most pleasant and professional experience! Starting with my initial phone contact with Carrie, I was able to schedule an appointment within a very short span of time, and working with Aaron for both the estimate and subsequent rain gutter installation was a complete pleasure. This is a very reputable and knowledgeable company.
They installed the gutter under the flashing (which is the best way) whereas other companies did not know how to do that without damaging the flashing and would not do it. And the color almost exactly matches the paint on my home. This is why they get all 5 star reviews!

ECS completed a commercial gutter job for us that no one else would touch. Their communication was great, the job was done correctly and on time. No complaints at all, and they went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied.

Needed Paul to provide diagnosis & estimate on possible new problem that actually had NOTHING TO DO WITH THE GREAT WORK ECS DID installing gutter/downspout on our roof. He came out timely, climbed onto roof, found the (basically insignificant) source that explained the minor issue, and refused to charge us for his time & TROUBLE. Now that is EXEMPLARY FOLLOW-UP!

Paul and his team arrived at my house right on time, 6am. They were all very friendly and professional and seemed eager to get my job done. We walked the job before they started, made a small change and they were ready to get started. They consulted me a couple times as the job had a hiccup or two, worked thru it and the work is great. Paul and his team were not the cheapest, but I am very glad I went with them. We decided to have a water tank installed to catch the rain water and Paul and his team were very confident it their ability to get it all set up and it turned out great. Just waiting for some rain now. I have a follow up on Friday with Paul to do a small thing and I am sure that will go smoothly and to my liking. My wife and I are very happy with the work and would strongly recommend Paul and ECS Specialty Rain Gutters. They also cleaned up the areas they worked in. ECS had installed gutters for us in 2017. With this last storm a section of gutter on one side of the house separated from the house and was compacted with dirt. They came out within a few days of my contacting them cleared the debris, re-sloped and re-attached the gutter even though they do not serve this part of the valley anymore. The installer also provided suggestions to maintain the gutters. We are very happy with the service.

It took awhile to find a company that does underground drainage. Luckily, I was referred to ECS Specialty Rain Gutters to get an estimate and find out my drainage options. Paul arrived on time and showed me where I needed to put underground drainage and where I didn’t. He also suggested a rain barrel for a tricky area to get the water away from the foundation and water my trees at the same time. It worked out perfectly! My gutters connect up to all the drainage and the rain barrel is great! I can divert the water or choose to save it. Paul was thoughtful and honest with the solutions for my drainage problems. I highly recommend for anyone with drainage issues to have Paul come out and give solid solutions for getting water away from your house.

Fantastic service! I have been worrying about fixing my gutter system for a long time, and ECS has finally put my mind at ease. One of my gutters was leaking badly and draining near my home's foundation. Other companies were happy to charge me to replace the single leaking downspout and call it a day. But ECS thoroughly evaluated the entire system. They noticed there was significant debris that needed to be removed. After an extensive cleaning, which included clearing off my entire roof at no extra charge, they added an extension to the leaking downspout (also at no extra charge!). ECS's staff is friendly and professional. I would happily recommend them to anyone in need of gutter repair.

We had gutters installed and drainage put in. Paul is very knowledgeable and open about what is possible (or not possible). The crew was on time, fast, and professional and the workmanship is high quality. Carrie in the office is incredibly responsive and helpful. I would recommend them with no hesitation.

In 2023, ECS installed gutters on my rental property. I was completely satisfied with their work, knowledge, and professionalism. So I decided to engage their services a second time to correct an installation error on my own home.
We had gutters installed 20 years ago. The installers at that time placed both front and back downspouts. The rear downspout position floods my side yard every year. A mistake to be sure. As expected, ECS Specialty Rain Gutters were able to replace the old system with a larger size gutter running the entire length of the house. They also connected it to the existing front drain system so that the water drains to the street. No addtional digging and no flooding!!! The installers, Joaquin and Pedro, were professional, neat, and efficient. All the old gutters were removed and the site was completely cleaned. Don't waste your money on a different company. From the front office to the installers, ECS Specialty Rain Gutters are the best, hands down!

I love working with local companies and ECS was great. They provided great communication, kept us informed of the process and timeline, were prompt, on time and most of all work was great. It is such a pleasure to work with people who take pride in their craftmanship. From digging the trench to the wash to installing the new gutters they were so neat that when they were done you couldn't even tell work was done there. Paul replaced some gutters at our home and did a great job! He also identified some issues with the roof that had been recently replaced and offered to correct them for me so we didn’t have any water issues. Would highly recommend this company!

Energy Conservation Specialists had installed gutters for several of my neighbors so I knew they did great work! I reached out to him on a Friday and by Wednesday of the next week, they were installed including an underground drain! Paul was very responsive, professional and helpful with color choices. I would highly recommend ECS to anyone who needs gutters!

I wish I could say that Paul was completely fantastic. I did in my first review but chose to remove that review to relay what happened since. To be fair to Paul I am writing praise where due but rating poorly because the whole situation became a sad shame for which Paul profited & I lost. What occurred was partially untrustworthy from the start but I only realize that now. Having just moved in Paul thankfully found the source of the leak into my bedroom on the one side of my flat roof condo in 2018.
He gave me an invoice for the great work he proposed to do for that 1/3 of the roof. It included the scupper correction, a new downspout, added channels, larger drains & replaced sky lights. When I saw the square footage for the planned power wash & elastomeric coating Paul explained that was only for this part of the roof which was 1/3 of entire roof. I asked why do part of my roof.
I should have known it was going to be a problem when Paul responded by saying he’ll do the whole roof for the same price. Do to his meticulous dealings with the 1/3 roof I assumed Paul was doing right by me with the other 2/3 (upper roof & garage/sunroom roof.)
If Paul had assessed the needs for the rest of the roof (ponding only- no leaves, debris or clogged gutters there) & did the actions needed to correct the issues I would have paid for that & the entire roof would be in great condition today. Paul could have told me I had ponding issues there. Paul neglected to do that & just coated it.
Now I have 1/3 of my roof in perfect condition (his great job) but the rest with severe cracking & a garage roof leak with rotted wood. When I told Paul I had water dripping on my head at the garage area in Dec.2021 he said he was going away & was booked solid on return until 2 months away. Paul did not offer to send someone to check or patch the area.
Other odd untruths occurred. In 2020 Paul came down off my roof saying my roof “looks good”. I said my neighbor’s roofer said “issues”.Paul checked again & said “issues are on the neighbors roof”. I then showed photos the roofer took of my roof & Paul finally admitted. After this Paul repeatedly persisted in an angry manner to try to find out who that roofer was. I would not say. Paul did some patches - I hoped what was needed. In 2021 I asked Paul about a bee hole & Paul said he saw it & would charge me $195 to patch that cigarette size hole. Luckily I found out it was actually on my neighbors roof, not mine. Paul never apologized for this.
Despite a few bandaid patches Paul is refusing to uphold his workmanship warranty for the neglect that occurred by not telling me that he did not do a proper assessment of the ponding problems & did not do the corrective actions.Paul boasted about my 5 y warranty ( not up until Dec. 2023)but has refused to send his company’s warranty to me. Instead Paul sent a generic workmanship warranty from the ARC & is refusing further communication with me. Paul could have done the 1/3 job to perfection as he did & scheduled a return to do the proper assessment & work on the other 2/3s. It is sad that Paul would not right his initial wrong & sad for the odd untruths that occurred. Despite the above I’d like to add that Paul’s secretary, Carrie (his wife) always sounded like a very kind & lovely lady. I hope Paul can learn from this review so he can give his 100% that I know he has but fell short on with not only with mentioned odd untruths but especially the initial neglectful assessment & management of the other 2/3s of my roof.

This company is one that deserves. 5+ star. I have a new build and have had to deal with multiple contractors at all levels. These people were outstanding to say the least.
I have used them TWICE and both times were above my expectations. I especially appreciated their cleanliness-no material, tools, refuse left behind.

ECS installed gutters and a skylight on our house. Their work is excellent. They know their craft and are very professional. Will definitely use them again.

I have used ECS for years. As a landscape designer, my first concern is drainage. I very rarely recommend others because of my high standards.
