Everything about EAS Roofing is top notch, from the initial phone call to the completion of replacing our roof and attic boards! Their communication is excellent with phone calls, texts, emails.. all of it is extremely timely and efficient. I love seeing companies that stand by their word and work. The work the crew did was amazing, on time, cleaned up the area beautifully, and just excellent workmanship. And incredibly hard, hard workers. This entire company is excellent and I have the highest recommendation to use them!

Thorough, complete roof replacement. Turned out we had 3 layers of shingles and extra plywood that had to be removed before they could install the new shingles. Work took longer than we expected because of that and the weather. They did a good job and were very pleasant and professional, but they could have been a little more communicative about when the workers were and were not coming.

EAS roofing did a phenomenal job installing a new roof and gutters on my house. Noah and Brian were very helpful from start to finish, were responsive and communicated clearly. Very pleased with the outcome, I highly recommend them for any roof/gutter needs!

I have had EAS roofing come out and replace lost shingles after a storm at least four times now over the past 10 years. They have done an excellent job each time and have been a pleasure to deal with.

Buying a roof is no small venture. I was nervous about starting this process because I knew that my existing roof was not put on correctly and I need a good, reliable company that would allow me to make payment for my roof. In comes EAS Roofing, understanding that I was nervous, and answering all of my questions, they truly went above and beyond to make sure that every step of the way was communicated, and the quality of work was great! The rain had delayed the project a few days, however the main office was in constant contact with us to make sure it would get done as soon as the weather permitted.

The team arrived just after 7 am and began removing the old roof. They were very professional and polite.

We had two Project Managers stop throughout the day to check the status of the project and answer any questions that we had during the installation.

After the project was completed, everything was cleaned up and it looks as if they were never there.

I would highly recommend them for any roofing project. We are very satisfied with our new roof and the color.

Yes, you can trust EAS Roofing. In the end it's all about trust. I was looking for a new roof for my house and garage. I got a recommendation for EAS Roofing from a family member. They had gotten estimates from EAS and some other well-known roofing companies in the area. Cory arrived on time for the estimate and consultation. Thoroughly explained the product and the installation. Gave some other good recommendations (which I initially didn't consider doing). Good communications with Christine leading up to the installation. Materials and dumpster arrived before the work began, on schedule with no issues. Day of installation Doug met with us, inspected the property, the work detailed in the estimate, installation process and timeline. Doug pointed out the recommendations in the initial estimate from Cory. I now went with their recommendations because it was the correct thing to do and I wanted this will be the last roof I ever install on this house and garage. This change required a lot more work but the workers did the extra work quickly and efficiently. The workers showed up on time and worked well into the evening. When work was completed Doug came back to inspect the work. I had some minor issues that Doug had corrected to my complete satisfaction. I am satisfied with the quality of the work and materials. You can trust EAS roofing to do quality work.

After the bid they actually managed to get our job in a couple of weeks ahead of schedule and it was greatly appreciated! Brandon and the team did a great from start to finish. It was originally a shingle job on the detached garage and the house. The house ended up needing a re-deck and they still got everything done in a few days. Pretty good considering the weather didn't cooperate. There were a couple of problems along the way and things were taken care of quickly and to our satisfaction! The job included ridge venting and eliminated the old attic fan also. The workers were efficient and friendly. The cleanup was good afterwards also! I waited to write this review on purpose until we had a couple of good rains with no problems. The garage and house are looking great with no issues! We are happy with the overall job and experience with EAS. It's nice that when you call you can get someone on the phone quickly also. EAS did my son in law and daughters house also. I recommend them!

In the middle of a roof replacement with EAS right now. I will update this review when the project is finished when and if I choose to, but as of now, our experience has been poor and I cannot recommend going with this company.

The good is that the subcontracting crew they use works very hard, although how things look when finished remains to be seen. The bad is with the company itself. Communication, first, has been abysmal. There was a crew tearing slate off of our roof before we ever met the project manager...he showed up hours later and that was the first time we ever heard from him. The crew is tarping over our roof and getting ready to leave now with rain on the way and the project manager is nowhere in sight. Obviously things can take longer than expected, but it is the job of the project manager to communicate these things to us and right now calls to him are going completely unanswered. EAS seems to forget that this is a major expense for most customers and that communication is necessary for peace of mind.

Finally, be prepared for major price increases the day work begins. It's what happened to us. According to the project manager (when we were able to speak with him), the gaps in our roof sheathing were too wide to allow the shingles to be nailed down firmly. That would be understandable, except that Cory the sales representative was able to view the roof decking from the underside in several places when we signed the contract and estimated that the roof decking would be good enough as is. Feels very much like a $4,000 bait-and-switch to me. If your experience is anything like ours, be prepared for a potential surprise price increase of 20% the day of the job.

In sum, they hire hard-working subcontractors. Everything else has been extremely lacking. Think twice about spending your money with EAS.

Edit: Spoke to the crew again after completing this review. They are telling me "maybe tomorrow." Tarp in place over roof, project manager still not answering calls. Just awful.

Edit 2: 8:15 a.m. the following morning. Pouring rain and we have still not been contacted by the project manager or anyone representing AES.

I cannot recommend EAS Roofing enough! Every aspect of this project went smoothly. From the moment I met with Scotty for the initial assessment and preparation of an estimate, to Brandon leading the crew through completion. Speaking of the crew, these men worked tirelessly for 13 hours straight the first day, and a few hours the next day to finish. They were amazing, very respectful and cleaned up my property to perfection. I will recommend them over and over again! Thank you EAS for an excellent job!

Scott provided me the estimate and was very knowledgeable and thorough, even inspecting the attic for leaks or other potential problems. He told me what to expect during the install so that there were no surprises.

Brian and team got my roof replaced a day earlier than the originally scheduled date and were done within the day. It turned out great. The guys did a good job cleaning up.

We had an excellent experience with EAS Roofing. Their pricing was fair, based on several bids we received. They were receptive to our concerns with the weather and re-scheduled because of our concerns. They finished our roof in two days, which was amazing since we have a very large roof. Both days, the five guys on the crew worked 13 hour days. Doug, the Project Manager and Pedro, the Supervisor provided great oversight throughout the process. Our house is 25 years old but the new roof makes it look new and fresh looking. The clean up that was done was very efficient and thorough. The day after the roof was finished, several of the crew came back and did even more clean up. The yard and area around the house look great. We would definitely recommend EAS Roofing for any and all roofing projects.

I had a great expierence with EAS. The communication from their team was excellent from start to finish. My new roof was completed in one day. The job was done on time and on budget.

Full roof replacement is not inexpensive and we had crews of 4+ for each of the three days they were here. We had the advantage of really great spring weather and they worked morning to sunset, not finishing up until after 7:00. They did nice work and we know it was well done when the following week 80MPH winds ran through our neighborhood and there were zero leaks or damage.

Frustrating: I have had an exceptional customer service experience with EAS but, at the end of the day, I also need the problems resolved. They have come back numerous times to work on the same two concerns. The last time, the person who came was very confident that he would be able to fix these issues, and here we are in the spring with more leakage in both areas. Water is so tricky, so they have a tough job, but seven years of trying without success leaves me feeling pretty frustrated.

Working with Noah, Brandon, and the rest of the team was wonderful. There was no pressure during the initial consult with Noah and Brandon checked in regularly throughout the project. He was clear and concise with additional work that needed to be completed throughout the project and transparent on pricing. He was happy to answer the many questions we had with a smile and clear up any concerns we had throughout the project. The crew was on time, polite, and did a fantastic job with clean up. We look forward to working with EAS for future projects on our home!

EAS helped us a couple times doing repairs and installs over ten years, and we were always happy enough to come back to them. Eventually we got the whole roof replaced and everything was done on budget, communication was excellent, and we felt we understood every part of the process.

EAS Roofing did are two dormers which needed painted every year so we decided to get them covered. They did a wonderful job.
Came on time cleaned up after themselves I would recommend them to anybody who is looking for roofing or siding and etc.

We had siding installed on our house under cold, winter conditions, due to losing pieces of siding during a storm. The installers worked from sun up to sun down to get the job done quickly and thorougly. Doug, from EAS, kept us informed of the intall' progress and the cost was more than reasonable in comparison with other contractors. We are warm and happy with results.

EAS did a great job of getting my bay window eyelid roof replaced quickly and efficiently before winter hit. I am grateful to not have to let it go through a winter season with the old tin roof possibly leaking and deteriorating more. Spring will allow for replacing the windows and repainting the box.

We had a fantastic experience with EAS for our roofing/siding project. Doug and team were attentive and really took care of us, completing the job efficiently. The end result is beautiful!!! We are very pleased and highly recommend EAS for your next project.

The crew seemed to know what they were doing and the installation went smoothly. We have not had a solid rain yet, so we don't know if everything was sealed properly.
The only two complaints are that they added an extra charge after they started because they said the original roof had two thin layers of wood rather than one thicker layer. It seems like an inspection of the roof would have shown that to be the case. And second, I have been finding lots of nails and screws (5 to 15 every day I go out side) laying around on the ground and the roof. It seems like they should use a magnet or walk around to pick those up.

We received a timely and reasonable quote, Scott was very easy to work with. The roof took a little longer than expected but communication throughout the process with Noah was great and made it manageable. The clean up after was very thorough and appreciated as we have kids and a dog. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. Highly recommend!

After receiving 3 bids from reputable companies, my husband and I learned that whoever installs the newest Corning and similar roofing systems uses identical parts. The roofers are trained the same way. We didn’t like the scare tactics and significantly higher prices of other companies. We chose EAS.

Once the rains came, it felt great knowing that the roof and the one formerly storm-damaged wall were waterproof once again!
The new roofing system’s ridge vent and eve air intake really work. The upstairs used to be hot and the attic used to be an oven. Now, even on a hot day, we can no longer feel the temperature gradients as we walk up the stairs.
The crew worked incredibly hard, cleaned up as advertised, and our house stands much improved.

We requested an appointment for several reputable roofing companies in the Pittsburgh area to replace the roof for our home on Vista Street, which located on the North Side of Pittsburgh. While the other companies said they do not service that area, EAS Roofing was more than happy to support the appointment.

During the appointment, the EAS Roofing salesguy did a really good job prepping for the meeting and laying out options for roof replacement and other services (gutter sealing, flashings, handling of roof dormers). This included a good selection of shingle colors / grades. Once the workscope/selections were made, a firm estimate was provided - with known adjustments that could happen if additional issues are found (roof board replacement.) The pricing was considered very reasonable, so a contract was signed with 1/3 down payment.

The roofing job was scheduled roughly 2 weeks after signing of the contract, including many follow-up emails/calls to confirm the date/time of the job.

At the time of the job, the roofing team showed up as scheduled with the project manager introducing himself. The team worked all day, from morning until evening, to finish the job. The work ended up being exactly what we wanted (complete roof replacement, including 1 roof board, flashing and gutter sealing.) The team also cleaned up very nicely, leaving some roof materials (side of house), the "equipter" - a smaller waste container (front sidewalk) and a regular container on the street. Once these were removed two days afterwards, the remainder of the invoice was paid. Finally, the necessary paperwork and warranty documents were provided/issued/submitted.

Overall a very good experience.

TLDR - EAS quoted us using the same materials as a national big box company for half the price, so we went with them. They did an amazing job.

Full story - EAS did a wonderful job replacing our roof. We had three companies come and give us estimates. A big box company, EAS, and a private contractor. The big box company came first, and I'm glad they did. They were so very pushy, we somehow allowed them to convince us to come out the very next day (we went to the Pittsburgh home and garden show specifically to find someone to replace our roof and found all three of these places at the show) The big box company did a very thorough inspection of our roof, showed us many photos that they took during the inspection and talked to us in length about possible issues that might come up and what they expected to be issues when the old shingles were actually removed. (We ended up needing an entire redecking) The Big box company was here for over 3 hours and it was a VERY long visit, but it really helped us understand what all goes into replacing a roof and specifically what the issues were with our roof. EAS came next, then the contractor. Both quotes from EAS and the private contractor were very similar. With the knowledge we had from the first visit from the big box company we kind of knew what to look for with regard to what work may need done when EAS and the private contractor both came. We ended up going with EAS because they were going to do the exact same work that the big box company was going to do but it was half the price. Same materials, same venting, same flashings, same gutters but honestly 1/2 the price of the big box company. Also, the big box company tried to push us to make a decision right away, then offered a small discount if we made our decision right then, but it was our very first quote and we did what any responsible homeowner would do and got multiple quotes. I'm definitely not into the pushy sales people. I did appreciate the thorough inspection but not the astronomical price and the pushiness to make a decision right away. Also with the "discount" that the big box company offered, it was still $10,000 more than both of the two other quotes. If you need a roof replaced, I recommend doing the same thing we did. Get multiple quotes, make an informed decision. If you want to know what big box company we had, I don't want to call them out specifically but I'll let you know they told us they have a sales booth at BJ's wholesale and they said that they don't even need to do advertising because they are so good and word of mouth gets them business. They are a national business all over the United States. EAS replaced our roof in one day, did the gutters the next day. The crew was great, they cleaned everything up. EAS sent us multiple emails in advance so we were 'prepared' for it and knew what to expect. Scott that came out and gave us the quote was just a regular guy who wasn't trying to push every bell and whistle. He was very honest with the different levels of shingles and materials and wasn't pushy. We were very comfortable choosing EAS and I highly recommend adding them to your roof replacement option if you're in the market for a new roof!

Incredibly easy to work with and did great work. Communication before and during our project (new roof, fascia, and gutters) was exceptional as they answered any and all questions I threw their way. I knew exactly what to expect based off all communication with the staff. Clean up after work was completed was great as they left no debris behind. I would highly recommend.

I am editing my review to 4 stars simply because EAS funding partner, Service Finance Company LLC is beyond TERRIBLE!!! If you need financing, absolutely, 100%, do not go with SFC!! Be warned!

Had some wind damage over Thanksgiving weekend they came 9AM Monday morning and repaired the damage in windy 20 degree weather

EAS roofing is terrible. They specifically asked me to move the date of my installation to the week of the Home Show, then there was no one here that spoke English when the installation happened. The men who did the work did an excellent job, but I wanted them to roof over an old skylight and install a bathroom fan and I couldn’t say that to them. There was also no communication as to what time or how long they would be there. They also didn’t use the contraption to pick up metal out of the yard, like they advertised. When I called later to get them to fix the old skylight they avoided my calls for months til I gave up. They also painted the flashing wrong twice! So they had to paint it three times total and they didn’t do a great job, there’s now brown, black, and white smudges on the brick. I have a flat top garage and they originally quoted me shingles, I called back after I accepted the quote and set a date and asked if singles was right for a flat roof? And they said no they needed to use a roll out type of roof and it would be 800$ more. I had to correct them in what type of shingle to use! Insane.

Very unprofessional work and purposefully bad communication.

Update in 2025 because I just thought about this again - It was absolutely EAS Roofing, I am not mixing companies up. I do not have the paperwork anymore because I moved or I would take a picture of it. They cannot find my name because my google account is my maiden name. If this company has no haters it's because I'm dead.

I hired eas roofing to install a new roof in the spring of 2015 and they did an amazing job the yard was spotless thanks to their machine the equiptor and the employees were very kind and kept us posted the entire time. I have never had a roof installed bit they definitely exceeded my expectations this is how a roof should be installed!
