Earthshare Construction

We wholly recommend Earthshare to anyone in the Upper Valley. Ethan and his subcontractors are timely, honest, flexible, and efficient. We hired them to gut-renovate two bathrooms and update almost all facets of our recently purchased house (that had not been lived in for over a decade). It was large project, and they completed it right on time, even with all the extra covid precautions we had to take. Their prices were reasonable and we were never surprised with surcharges. We love the work they did!

Good people who want to do good sustainable building but at least when I worked with them a few years ago, they didn't have the skills needed to achieve this vision. They were way overbudget (repeatedly), failed to follow lead-safe work practices (repeatedly), and were incompetent at basics such as flashing windows properly (result: soggy insulation) or even getting a door installed such that it functioned properly. They repeatedly failed to do work as specified (in writing) and also failed to get subcontractors to do the work as specified (in writing). Hopefully they are better now, but I recommend checking some recent references carefully.

We gave Ethan and his crew a complicated, multi-phase build out project. The work came on-time, on-budget, and with uncommonly high-quality. The design and construction has performed as we intended for years. Ethan was a pleasure to work with as a GC - communicative, attentive to detail, knowledgable. His crew was great to work with as well. Can't give a higher recommendation, really.

Had a great experience working with Ethan. The final product was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Ethan communicated well and was detail oriented. We felt very comfortable with his team and the sub contractors that came to our home. We would definitely recommend Earthshare to our friends.
