Dunn Electrical Service

They charge $49.95 just to go to the house. I only needed them to look at a three way light fixture. I let them know there was power at the switched and only needed to check at the light and that the switches were good, 5 minutes maximum. I was told to diagnose it would be $350. I asked to charge me T&M as it would take less than 5 minutes he said "that's just what we charge". I tried to support a local business, not these people again, I'll just do it myself

Excellent experience with Dunn Electric! We’ve been customers for many years, and Allen aims to keep it that way with his professionalism and quality of work. He explained the complete process and kept us informed step by step, keeping our final cost and estimate the same. He even arrived well before our scheduled time which was perfect for us! We truly appreciate both Allen and Preston’s communication and attention to detail as they worked in and around our home even in the scorching heat and humidity. We couldnt ask for them to be any neater in the work area, nor could we ask them to be less disruptive while working. We also feel much safer knowing potential electrical issues have been prevented by Allen’s keen observation.

Friday our power went out with the crazy lightning storm. Seth came to our house first thing this morning to get everything back on track! He was a gentleman and professional. I am very happy with the services that were provided today and we are all happy to have electric again!

Another great experience with Dunn Electric! This past week made it our fourth time using them for indoor/outdoor work. On our very first service call, they sent us Seth to install a Ring floodlight cam, Ring doorbell, and replace some lightbulbs on our other spotlights. We have ever since requested him for our other projects. Seth is a top notch professional, super knowledgeable, courteous & kind! He answered all our questions and gave us suggestions for further work. In addition, the office personnel we've dealt with, including Ila, Terry, and Udo, are very helpful, kind, and have a pleasant attitude. If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would! Highly satisfied!

Dunn did a great job for us. We had a long punch list of minor repair needs that built up over the last several years. Seth and Wyatt handled it all well. Seth’s advice and recommendations were spot on.

I needed some work done on my outside outlet, I did a lot of research. Read a lot of reviews. DES Had the best reviews so I give them a call and schedule an appointment to fix my problem. Allen went above and beyond to not just fix the outlet, but he also pointed out the things that were done wrong by somebody else and was a hazard. His quote was super reasonable, We were able to dig our own ditch for wiring. He came back and redone everything that was wrong. He went above and beyond to have everything done correctly for a reasonable price and I appreciate that!! Would definitely hire DES - Allen for my future Inside or outside projects. Allen and Preston were very professional and knowledgeable.They replaced all my ceiling LED lights efficiently. They noticed my entry chandelier had a burnt out bulb, so I could have it replaced while they had their very high ladder there and save a trip.

Absolutely excellent this is my 2nd time calling Dunn to get Nema 14-50 outlets installed for my 2 Tesla’s they offer same day service when available and today was great 1hr install worth the money and peace of mind … the second photo is the first install they did at my old house the. The 1st photo is the work from today.

Tony and Conner showed on time, completed the job, confirmed everything was operational and cleaned up after. Tony kept me updated throughout the job and I now have four different ceiling fans all installed and fully operational in just a few hours. Great job and highly recommended!

I was very impressed with the service I received this passed Tuesday from this company! Everyone over the phone to the young man who came to my home! They were all very friendly and answered all my questions and concerns!! Seth was my service man. I told him what happened with my outlet for my stove And my concern about it not being secured to wood. He saw the problem, took the outlet off and explained why it sparked and gave me 3 option on how it could be fixed. He was happy to answer all my questions and concerns. I feel great about what was done and his work was excellent!! I feel like the price for the job and service call was very fair! I would highly recommend them to anyone and when I need electrical work done again.I know who to call!!!

They sent someone out the same day that I called. Allen was the electrician that came out. He was very professional and polite. He fixed the issue and did so in a timely manner. He also explained what the issue was so that I knew what I was paying for. We will need to have work done again in the near future and I’ll definitely use their services again.

The guy that came out to fix my light fixture was totally amazing. I called and spoke to the receptionist to see if I was able to get my appointment moved to an earlier time, she told me there wasn’t anything earlier, HOWEVER, she would call the technician to ask “ANYWAY”! WOW! I felt very special! She called me back in about 20 minutes and said he’s TEN MINUTES away, are you available now?! He came, he saw, and he conquered! I would recommend them to ANYONE and EVERYONE!

Called DES (Dunn Electrical Service) and Allen came out to my house very fast. He replaced a doorbell transformer that was burnt out and was very knowledgeable and explained things very well to me. Price for coming out and replacing the transformer was awesome. Allen you’re the man, I appreciate you.

Hey y’all the technician who was sent to us was TONY. He went above and beyond to earn a FIVE star rating!! We had three LED modern lights installed two in our kitchen one in the living room. He finished within 30 minutes installing the lights. Giving us information on LED that we would have never knew about. His hospitality was through the roof. Presten came in unphased,lol, and pinpointed our issue immediately. Five minutes later everything was working just like it should. HVAC, flickering lights, water heater, all fixed when he discovered the main breaker was old and corroded. They said he was the best and I agree. Allen did a great job installing the surge protector for the whole house electrical system. Previous to Allen’s excellent work, Preston had come to the rescue completing work that had been abandoned by another company. We were impressed by both Allen’s and Preston’s professionalism, skill, knowledge and positive approach to both their work and seemingly, their lives in general. Dunn Electrical was out today to troubleshoot and repair a kitchen ceiling light. Allen isolated the problem and did the repair in no time at all and at a fair price. I've been using Dunn Electrical for years for large and small jobs and will continue to do so in the future.

Called needing an electrician as 5 kitchen outlets stopped working. The office called and scheduled a time, the repairman (Allen) called and asked if he could arrive earlier than scheduled time. He was here even earlier than that and had the issue diagnosed and repaired in minutes! There were no 8 hr windows for service! Very prompt, courteous and professional!! I would recommend in a heartbeat!

Allen came out to give me a quote for an RV hookup. He asked me about my needs for it and explained things I wasn’t aware of.

I was having electrical problems at my house and called Dunn Electrical. When I called I mentioned that I had no heat for over 4 hours and several outlets were not working. She told me they would be out within 30 minutes or less. They were here quickly and went out of their way to resolve my issues. CDE pulled up after Dunn arrived. The men waited over 1 hour in the cold to see if it was a CDE issue. They said if it was not a CDE issue they would come inside to check for the problem. I would highly recommend Dunn Electrical to anyone having electrical problems.

Allen from DES fixed a Fire hazard issue that had been caused by others incorrect wiring causing a fuse to melt . This was a day before a snow storm with the heat out and little kids at home at 6-7pm in the evening . He Explained in detail the issues and what work that had to be done in order to make it right. The repair was completed in very short time. Allen was very professional , Wearing shoe coverings, Very polite, very knowledgeable in his field. He took time to explain and answer any questions when his work was complete.
This company deserves an A+ for hiring a quality serviceman and taking care of issues and doing it right.

Very happy with their work. Allen and Preston were consummate professionals as they installed a Home Generator for us. They performed a quality installation of the unit, then carefully explained everything about the generator and transfer switch. They will be the only electricians I use for any and all electrical projects at my home. Two thumbs up!

Last week I had the pleasure of seeing Allen and Tony, two of Dunn electrical service employees who had previously worked at my house. I also got to meet Connor, one of the newest members of Dunn Electric. As usual, they were great! Besides being friendly, they were professional and knowledgeable. They thoroughly explained everything that they were going to do. Another aspect of their service that I really appreciate is the fact that they organized everything. They pulled the permit, scheduled an inspection, and contacted the Clarksville department of electricity.
When presented with the invoice, it came in under the original estimate. I had given permission for the work. I would’ve paid the original estimate without question. It’s so nice to have honest people you can count on, I wouldn’t use anyone else!

Preston was professional and technically competent and proficient in providing electrical services.

DES is an excellent Company that I have continued to use over the past 20 years. Would not use anyone else.
