We had a musty/mildew smell in the basement that we couldn’t identify the source of. After several DIY attempts, we called DRYmedic and Mike came out and spent a significant amount of time helping us understand what could be happening and recommending a solution for us. Thanks Mike!

We accepted Mike’s proposal to do the work and he had a crew out the next day. Justin & Blake did a great job for us. The covered our upstairs floors before taking any equipment downstairs, they did everything on time, and thoroughly cleaned up when they finished. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Angel's ability and knowledge as a seasoned professional in his field is unsurpassed. He produced the most amazing, beautiful tilework floor that has become the best part of our newly reconstructed bathroom. The care he showed while in our home from covering our wood floor in the main area to the cleanup after each day did not go unnoticed and was very much appreciated. Drymedic has one of THE best craftsman with Angel as part of their crew.

I was never sent a bill and I got a notification from Shelby township they put a lien on my home. A simple water damage claim took a year to resolve. They even had someone different doing the floors and the trim for my floors, everything was a money grab. Payment was never clearly communicated. Due dates for payment were not once communicated. You’re better off hiring contractors yourself. I seen so many good reviews so I thought I’d go through them. By far the worst company. The first person who took my case randomly quit so I was left with no one for months. I attached a copy of the email thread. I specifically had to ask for invoices because I was never sent them and once I paid off this one, I was never sent another.

Kyle, Jason and Ethan did a wonderful job. They were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. They made this experience as painless as possible.

Dan show high integrity suggested that our issue could be solved ourselves due to the small area that needed to be treated. He gave us the tools to be able to do so and answered all of our questions. Would definitely use if we are unfortunate enough to need remediation

The team at Drymedic has been outstanding. In a very stressful time, the team at Drymedic help us calm down and get things under control. Some people call outs:
Tim, Mike, Lauren & Tyler were compassionate, efficient, great communication, on time, do what they say, reliable & confident. I highly recommend Drymedic when disaster hits!

Our allergist recommended DRYmedic when a test result showed an allergy to mold. DRYmedic recommended a testing company to test the mold levels in our basement, and we got a reading of slightly elevated levels, so DRYmedic recommended a very extensive remediation work plan. They were good at communicating, flexible with suggestions that I made, and they did a fine job of vacuuming, cleaning, and air scrubbing the space.

However, when we re-tested the space after the work was done, we used a different (more affordable) company for the re-test, and the numbers came back even higher than before the cleaning. Confused, we re-hired the original testing company to re-test the space, and those numbers came back very different from the other re-test, but also higher than the original test. DRYmedic couldn’t understand why the numbers went up; they looked around the basement and made some suggestions for further work that didn’t really make sense to us, but generously ran their airscrubbers for an additional 5 days for no charge.

After the additional air scrubbing, we did several rounds of testing by both the original testing company and the second testing company, and their numbers continued to be vastly different from each other, despite running their tests on the same day. It was truly frustrating, and there was no guidance as to how to resolve this; everyone seemed to just look baffled and said they had never experienced this before. Both testing companies swore their machines were calibrated.

I understand that it wasn't DRYmedics job to oversee the testing, but we assumed that they would have some experience and guidance to help us resolve this confusion, especially since they had recommended both testing companies. It never was resolved, so after paying a hefty amount for the remediation plus the additional amount of multiple rounds of re-testing, we had to just HOPE that the lower numbers on the re-test were correct -- but it’s difficult to really relax in the space. At the end of the day and the extended disruption, the expenses, all the work that went into preparing the space, and the expense of repairing and replacing the drywall and paneling that was cut away, we have no idea if the basement is really safe. It has been incredibly frustrating.

What an amazing company!
I scheduled an appointment as we found some water in our basement for the first time. Kyle called me on a Saturday and talked me through my issues/concerns. The issues we are facing are probably not a fit for restoration services, I really appreciate the company's honesty and will absolutely be calling them back if I ever have another concern where I think this company can help. They earned a customer for life, nothing is more indicative to me, when a company will discusses options in detail, even if that doesn't mean a job for them. Definitely a company that is focused on helping the customer over short term gains. This company is the real deal. Support honest companies and people like this!

I recently experienced a major water leak that caused serious damage to my finished basement. It was overwhelming, but I’m so thankful I chose DRYMedic right from the start. They handled the entire process — mitigation, contents, and reconstruction — with professionalism, care, and direct communication with team leads every step of the way.

The Mitigation Team — Kyle B., Mike B., Robert, Tori, Joey, and Liz — were my first point of contact. Kyle clearly explained what to expect, arrived within hours (on a weekend), and they began mitigation immediately. They were incredibly responsive and worked quickly to stabilize the situation. More importantly, they problem-solved on the spot to save as much as possible, including my kitchen island, which helped reduce the scope of reconstruction. They were efficient, thoughtful, and extremely respectful of my home.

The Contents Team — Lauren, Kyle G., Tyler, Vinny C., Tony, and Lyo — were just as impressive. They removed, stored, and returned all of my belongings with great care. Some irreplaceable furniture was restored to look like new, and my electronics came back cleaner and in better shape than they left. Not a single item was damaged or lost in the move. They also helped me organize and submit documentation for my insurance company, which made the entire claims process much easier.

The Reconstruction Team — Donnie, Brittnay, Angel, Hani, and Mazel — brought the space back to life. Their work was precise and they were always open to feedback. I told them up front how particular I am about quality work — and they delivered. Every concern I raised was addressed promptly, and they even returned for final touch-ups to make sure everything was perfect. The basement now looks even better than before, with fresh colors, seamless drywall, baseboard and paint work (you’d never know the walls had been cut up 2 feet), and flawless granite reinstallation in the kitchen area. I was especially anxious about that, but they carefully removed and reset the granite with rebuilt cabinetry — and it looks just like it did prior to the damage.

I have been working with the entire DRYMedic Team for a few months now. I hope to post more about my overall experience when the job is complete but today wanted to give a review of Angel from the restoration Team who did such a fantastic job on my tile floor install. He identified that the floor needed leveling and fixed it, he did a meticulous job planning out the pattern and cutting tiles to precision. The final install you can tell was done by an expert. My experience working with this company was good. The management worked with me to ensure that the work was covered by insurance. And, questions I had about the final bill were addressed. A highlight of working with the company was the day to day work and oversight of Tim Jones. His work was thorough, highly professional, and his communication was consistent and timely.

DRYmedic was great to work with. They were very quick to respond, and when their team arrived they had the cleanout completed in less than half a day. Lauren was a great communicator, and she interfaced smoothly with the other company involved in the remediation. DRYmedic Restoration Services did an excellent job not once but twice. I had flooding issues twice during the same year and both times every single person from DRYmedic was an absolute professional. Not only did they do excellent work in both departments (mitigation and restoration), they did so in a way that put my mind at ease. As anyone knows, during a situation where your basement has flooded, people can be extremely anxious and nervous about next steps, but they listened and addressed all concerns. Jerry, Jonathan, and Aaron were excellent to deal with!

I must say that the team from DryMedic was a lifesaver. Hugh, Wyatt and Tim were so incredibly awesome and I am grateful to this team for all that they did during an incredibly trying time for our family. I would 100% recommend DryMedic in the future. Just ensure that the invoice and the POL (proof of loss statement) from your insurance adjuster match. When the accounting department got that right, we were all good. Thank you all!

We had a pipe leak which led to water damage and mold. Kyle Boe was assigned as our Project Manager. Kyle has spent hours on the phone with me at all times of the day and night answering questions and assuring a smooth mitigation. Once the mitigation process started, Mike Brazitis, Blake Elbode and their team members did a thorough, effective and efficient job mitigating. They always arrived on time (called to give us a heads up), answered questions and explained everything they were doing. They were just a text away if we had questions after they finished. They always left our house clean and did such a wonderful job. They made special arrangements to save our cabinets, granite and made a special pathway so we could access all of our home during the process. Tim and the remediation team did an incredible job with the cleanup process and testing was also completed to ensure that nothing was missed. I cannot say enough great things about this company. Despite my homeowner’s insurance adjuster being less than professional, Kyle and his team worked with us, and did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend DRYmedic if you want prompt, professional, and quality service.

In July 2023 we had rain damage from a storm causing a hole in roof that rained down all the way to the basement of our 2 story home. After reading their great reviews we decided to go with this company. The mold and moisture mitigation department (Tim) were great to work with (which is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1), but when it came time for reconstruction the nightmare began.

Our hardwood floors were not protected during the drywall/mudding/taping process causing an excessive build up of residue on our floors upstairs and downstairs. The floors probably Would have never been protected had I not made them stop the work and put down protective materials. They did not think to tarp off the construction sites so construction dust was covering all my furniture and belongings that had to be moved into our living room during reconstruction. My door to my house was left wide open multiple times. Thank goodness for great neighbors who kept an eye on our house while we stayed at my mom’s during all this.

On our “final walk through” there were outlets dangling out of walls, outlet covers not flush with walls, paint left on my floor, scratches all over my hardwood floors. They used the wrong grout color for my backsplash and instead of taking it out and redoing it properly they though it was okay to just go over the old grout two different times and not even cover all the areas. The grout had to be done for the fourth time the proper way. 4 times to do a backsplash is ridiculous.

My brand new unused stove had paint splatter on it due to the inconsideration and laziness of their workers. To not even put a simple piece of plastic over a new $700 dollar appliance speaks volumes of the type of work they allow.

Also, the project manager (Michael) above the PM I was dealing with (Jonathan) told me I “needed to be cognizant of the reviews I leave because this is people’s livelihood” !!! Really? Maybe if this company took pride in their work they wouldn’t be worried about my review. No one cared about my house or my belongings the last 6 months and people need to be held responsible. I was displaced from my home for almost 8 months, but I needed to be considerate of his employees and their crappy work. I’ve also had contact with people from this company regarding a review my family member had left, asking her to change her review because “it doesn’t give the whole story”. She was right there with me during this entire situation and saw the stress and anxiety that it caused me and my family.

I was refunded for the floors being redone and the cleaning of my furniture and rugs, but all this did was delay our move in. It should have been done properly the first time.

They also tried to get money from my insurance company for things that they never did. Sink installation, blind replacement, floor protection for unaffected areas of the house, etc. I had a kitchen faucet that was valued at $330. When I was given my credit, it showed that I would get $60 dollars for it because “they could find it on eBay for that price”. When I looked at the itemized list they were being refunded $328.99 for the faucet from the insurance company. Had I not gone over the list I would have been scammed out of THOUSANDS of dollars. Completely unacceptable.

So maybe if you live in Bloomfield Hills or some nicer areas of metro Detroit they will care about your house. But as far as my Trenton home goes, they completely took advantage of the fact that no one was home and DISRESPECTED me and my home.

Tyler and Jason were outstanding. Extremely professional and helpful. Very accommodating as they explained the process and what to expect. More individuals should carry themselves with the professionalism that they did. I would recommend their services to anyone in need.

I had 2 water losses back to back and DRYmedic went above and beyond to help me! Kyle, Tori, Tim H, Tim J, Blake and Tyler from Mitigation did everything they could to contain the loss to my kitchen. I have young kids and they set up containment that kept them safely away from the area. Bernard, Kenny and Jonathan helped me from the Reconstruction team and got me back into my kitchen quickly!

I highly recommend using DRYmedic if you experience a loss. They responded quickly, actually cared about me and the safety of my family, and showed a sense of urgency to get my life back to normal. I am forever grateful for the team at DRYmedic!

Due to a leak in our roof, we had some mold in our ceiling. Dan with DRYmedic Restoration was very professional, efficient, and polite in taking care of our situation. He and his team were good communicators, competent in their work, and friendly to our dog who is always a bit nosy with newcomers. I would recommend this company to anyone with mold issues in the neighborhood.

While I was out of town, my kitchen flooded due to a faulty InstaHot, and I came home to a disaster. I immediately called DryMedic, and before I could hang up, they arrived at my house and sprang into action! I'm so glad they did because now my house is back to new. Their staff is incredibly experienced, and I especially want to give a shout-out to Kyle, who was so kind and patient with us. I had a fire in a rental property that I own. It was in the bathroom (fan caused it). The fire dept was great and got there very quickly and put it out, but there was damage from the fire, the water from putting it out, from the smoke throughout the house, etc. I contacted a few restoration companies but they all couldn't look at it for over a month. I contacted Drymedic who I had previously used on a water damaged crawl space issue, and found out they also work on fire related issues, and would be able to help. So I contracted with them.
This whole process was extremely difficult and frustrating, between dealing with the insurance company and 4 different adjusters, the local government and their inspections, requirements to bring things not impacted by the fire up to code, etc. It took over a year to get through all of this and get the house repaired and habitable. Drymedic helped me navigate this every step of the way. The negotiated with the insurance company for many months until we had an agreed upon scope of work and cost. The final agreed-upon scope and cost were 5 times the insurance companies original estimate!
During this phase of the process Jerry, Frank and Aaron were extremely helpful not only educating me, but in working for months to get the insurance company to make changes to their estimate so that the work could be completed correctly. Once the agreement was reached they handled the mitigation portion of the projected quickly and effectively.
The next phase of course was the reconstruction. there were many challenges with this also, as now the local govt was involved with all of the permits, inspections, add-ons to bring things to code, etc. I mostly worked with Jonathan and Michael on this part of the project. Both did a great job of navigating a number of issues and challenges along the way and represented my interests with the insurance company and the local govt effectively. I was always able to contact either of them at a moments notice with any issues I was encountering. We finally got to the finish line and the house was completed a couple of weeks ago.
A big shout out to Jonathan my PM... he had to navigate a number of issues, including subcontractors, city, inspectors, insurance co, and of course me! He handled all of these well and kept us moving forward. Not only this, but he went above and beyond and did some things to make the end product better than expected, such as aligning the color of the hardware, improving the blinds that were required etc.

Everyone at Drymedic was incredible to work with. Obviously a basement flood is the absolute last thing you want to deal with, but they all made it seem so easy and took a lot of stress out of the terrible situation. I had called a few other remediation places and they didn't even get back with me. I was working with Kyle and his communication was top notch. They worked around my schedule to accommodate when I would and wouldn't be home to make sure they didn't add any extra stress. They worked directly with my insurance and were able to do pretty much everything so all I had to do was call to get a claim number and adjuster assigned. 10/10 would recommend, but let's hope for my sake I never have to use them again and my basement stays nice and dry!

These guys are great. Tim communicated everything with each step from the estimate to the completion and clean air testing. Mike worked hard with the crew doing the actual job and helping Jason get the equipment in and out. I spoke with Jason twice regarding the equipment in my home. He met me at my house right when he said he would be there. He was helpful in explaining what would be done, and completing everything as expected. Thank you DryMedic.

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with DRYmedic. We had recently purchased a home and we found mold removing some trim around our fireplace. Tim was our project manager and from the moment he came over to assess the area of concern to promptly giving us a quote & getting his amazing crew out as quickly as possible, I knew we had hired the right company for our complicated situation. Tim is knowledgeable, stayed in constant communication and ensured our project was remediated correctly. Wyatt was our boots on the ground project lead and equally demonstrated the same level of professionalism consistently throughout our remediation. Wyatt & his crew were extremely patient answering any & all questions while explaining every step of the of way of what they were doing and why it needed to be done. Even though our project escalated quickly from removing a portion of drywall to unfortunately having to remove the entire fireplace (due to neglect form the previous owners & poor construction practices), there were absolutely no surprises in cost and everything was discussed prior to executing next steps taken in the project. I highly recommend this company and will gladly call in the future if we should need anymore remediation in our home!

I had a problem with my new build home that led to months of problems. My GC claimed the leak wasn’t major until a waterfall started coming from the ceiling under my shower!! I immediately called drymedic and the team of Kyle, Blake and Tyler were EXTREMELY helpful and comforting. These guys knew what they were doing and made sure to contain, clean and check to make sure every problem was solved. They take plenty of pictures to document and give you a step by step process of what’s going to happen and why, which makes you feel good as a homeowner. I highly recommend this company, just make sure you ask for Kyle, Blake and Tyler for an experience like mine!

Our basement flooded, so we called DryMedic. Jason was great about calling before coming so we could corral our animals upstairs before they got here. Jim was kind enough to vacuum up after they were done. I'm only knocking one star off because they did not come on a weekend to measure the moisture as promised. Overall I am pleased with our experience. This is our 7th basement flood in our older house, I will definitely be using them again for our next one! LOL!

If I could give zero stars I would. Someone I know had an unacceptable and ridiculous experience with them that should have never happened. Be weary of hiring them. They’re more concerned with the company’s reputation- than the actual work they do on people’s houses. NOTHING in the house was covered while dry wall was being done. Absolutely ridiculous.

Would also like to add that the people who lived in the home temporarily relocated while this was going on. On more than one occasion, the door to their house was left wide open by this company (thank god they have good neighbors that kept an eye out). Just a joke of a company.

I can’t say enough good things about Dry Medic!! From day 1 they were professional, responsive, and kept me in the loop every step of the way. I used them for two projects, fall 2023 and spring 2024, to address water damage I had in both our upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. And while I hope to never need them again, they’ll be my first call if I ever do have water damage in the future.

I am especially thankful for the on-site team - Tim and Tori. Not only did they work hard, get the job done quickly and took great care of our belongings to try and salvage as much as possible, they had such great attitude and were a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend this company!

I came to write a review about Jerry. He came to my house after we noticed some ground water in our crawl space, it drained away on its own but as first time homeowners we wanted to make sure we cover our bases. Jerry came over on time, went right down into our crawl space and was extremely knowledgeable and honest. He recommended different services and ensured me our crawl space was not causing our issue at hand and wouldn’t steer me otherwise. I would recommend Jerry and his services to anyone! Very appreciated and feel like we’re a step ahead of nailing down our issue.

I would highly recommend DRYmedic. Kyle was our Project Manager and did a great job from his initial visit to the work ending. He helped us immensely through the claims process with our insurance offering guidance, detailed notes and recommendations for plumbers. While our repair ended up not being covered by insurance, it was still helpful to have his recommendations on next steps. We felt very comfortable with understanding the issue that required remediation and the best practices to resolve the issue in the safest way possible.

Mike was the lead regarding the actual work done and was assisted by Rob. Mike was easy to communicate with providing ETAs everyday and was always on time to when he projected arriving each day. As a whole, the team was polite, organized and worked efficiently. The cleanup was well done as well, there was no leftover mess and no dust or debris. Mike kept us informed during every step of the process and explained in great detail what was taking place and if there was any deviation to the original scope of work. We're happy with the results and appreciate the time the entire DRYMedic team took to answer our questions and provide a thorough explanation of their processes.

I have been working with the contents team from Drymedic. Must say they are fantastic. Handling each item with great respect and care. And treated me with such kindness and thoughtful understanding this was a stressful time. Neva is an extraordinary woman who led the team. She is highly competent and diligent in her work but the most kind and compassionate person ever. I just couldn’t have gone through this without her and her team! I also call out Dan, Tony, Vinnie and Jason. Just all exceptional human beings. Just top notch. They all handled themselves with great character - polite and just so kind. The DRYmedic team made a challenging experience an easy process for us. We woke up to our kitchen ceiling collapsing from a burst pipe at 4am. The team at DRYmedic came out and took charge of everything that had to be done. They packed all our belongings and restored what they could. They had an electronics team, a textile team, a team for weight equipment, and everyone else that was needed to save our belongings and store them until we could put our house back in order. When we returned home the team was wonderful. They all worked well together. All our items were put back in the rooms where they were removed. All boxes were marked with their contents. All furniture was put back together in the proper place. This was a two-day job and the team worked with smiles and were very polite and clean. They had shoe covers on when in the house. I would recommend the team at DRYmedic to anyone in need without hesitation. Thank you, Christina for the constant updates and communication throughout this entire process. Neva and Lindsey were great in during the pack out and documenting all my items. Thank you also to Dan, Kyle, Zay, Tony, Jason, Tyler, Nate, Matthew, Jake and Vinny for putting all those heavy boxes in their right places and moving some of them twice. This is an excellent, trustworthy company who can be relied upon to guide you through your insurance restoration process seamlessly. They have excellent staff from the field technicians to the office, everyone is kind, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I would refer drymedic to friends and family time and time again!

Short story- My basement flooded, i called Drymedic to come out and help evaluate. Anthony put together a team of professionals to pack up all the items in the basement. They separated what was good worked with subcontractors to have them cleaned and stored away.
I had issues with my insurance company over payment and the drymedic team was there to help in every way. Anthony was a great guy to have help with handling the insurance company questions.
Special shot out to Simon, Alexis, Lauren, Tyler. You guys were the best and professional in every way possible.

I'd like to add that Joi Richard's was outstanding, professional, and super kind handling all my payment issues.

Our dishwasher malfunctioned and destroyed most of our first floor and our finished basement, so we had a 6-figure insurance claim to resolve. We originally hired Drymedic for the water remediation portion, intending to use a friend’s construction company for the repair work, but we ended up using Drymedic for everything because our insurance company made the reconstruction an absolute nightmare. If you have a major claim, you need a company that specializes in insurance repairs. Drymedic is an expert.

In addition to repairing the damage, we remodeled some areas including getting hardwood throughout and redoing the fireplace. I couldn’t be happier with the results. (See before/after photos.) We LOVE the way it turned out and we can’t say enough good things about everyone we worked with at Drymedic.

- Ed led the remediation effort. To quote the immortal words of Cher Horowitz, Ed gave us a sense of control in a world full of chaos. He really set us up for success with this whole project. Everything he advised was spot on.
- Frank literally saved us $50K and he’s still advocating for us. Absolute boss. His documentation was so thorough and accurate, the field adjuster passed off Frank’s work as his own.
- Dominic hopped on to insurance calls with zero advance notice and deserves an award for responding to their institutionalized gaslighting with a calm, professional demeanor.
- Christina managed our contents. She/her team are our heroes for putting felt furniture pads on every single thing that touched our new hardwood floors - without even being asked!
- “Gucci” Mike took our dumpster fire of a house and made it the most beautiful place we’ve ever owned. He’s trustworthy, reliable, skilled, and a certified great human.

10/10 will rehire if we accidentally destroy our house again
