I would recommend Driscoll Construction to anyone and everyone. Justin is great at explaining the job is transparent and is very friendly. Justin is extremely honest and works hard. He replaced all our upstairs and stairs carpet with Pergo flooring and it looks incredible. He takes great pride in his craft and it is evident as soon as he walks in.

My wife was very impressed with his work and said she’s never felt as comfortable with a contractor before - that she trusted him in our home, felt completely comfortable with him without me there and in our home no matter who was there. He was also very friendly our son and dog - who thought he had come just to pet her.

Driscoll Construction checks all the boxes. I’ve known Justin a long time and I’ve never heard anyone say anything but positive things about him. I will use him again and recommend him to anyone. If you want someone to do the job right, be open and upfront, someone who respects women, and is a friend to all dogs and children I can’t recommend Driscoll construction enough. I’ve had other craftsmen in my home make comments about how good his work is. I’m going to end the review now, because I could go on and on. Just do yourself a favor and hire this guy.

Couldn't hire a better human. Talented, focused, principled, timely and you feel like you got more than the work at hand, you got real craftsmanship you are proud of and so pleased to experience. Hire him. We will keep having him come back for every project as we can!

Justin was able to take an idea and solve every challenge in removing a huge old window and replacing it with French doors onto the deck with easy access to the hot tub outside. Not an easy job. The quality of workmanship is tight and we wish the whole house was up to his standards. Highly recommend Justin!

I worked with Driscoll construction from October 2023 until August 2024. It started off with him, remodeling my full laundry room, which was just a roughed in mess and he turned it into what I always had envisioned, beautiful and functional. From there, I ended up expanding my project to include the whole basement which entailed floating the floor, new luxury vinyl updating the bathroom, ripping out some old and moldy drywall repainting and re-trimming all of the rooms and updating the bathroom with a new tub, new composite surround, new sink, vanity, and finishing out the closet. He did an amazing job and was able to find me great subcontractors for plumbing, electrical and painting. Then when that was finished, he replaced my decking off of the kitchen with some composite and picture frame the edges, and we use the old railing and stained them. He was so patient, creative and great to work with. I would highly recommend him.

Justin is a perfectionist, the perfect person you’d want as your contractor. As the owner of Aire Serv of Kitsap County, I recommend all of my customers to Justin for any contract job needed. He’s the best.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
