I would like to thank Jeremy, Clayton, and Steve for the outstanding job they did while building my house and even afterwards as questions have arisen. They all listened and tried to make corrections or explained why it couldn’t be done exactly how I wanted it. They have always responded quickly and with respect. I know that there is more to home building than personable individuals but you have 3 people who are outstanding in their chosen areas. Great job Drippe for finding these wonderful guys!

Have had a great time working with Dan Riccomini from Drippe homes. He has been super helpful, communicative and supportive for my wife and I as we wanted to build a home for the first time.

Perhaps most impressive has been Dan's problem-solving skills and patience as we had run into some obstacles initially but Dan was able to navigate us through some humps!

03/01 Signed the contract to start the build and we look forward to the process! The plan is to move in our house by the middle of September. I plan to update here to provide a thorough and accurate review of what future customers can expect :)

06/12: Things are going extremely well, much of the house has been built and am in weekly communication with the project manager discussing updates. Things are on time and going great!

My husband and I lost our house in a tornado last April. We contacted multiple contractors to give us a quote for repair or rebuild and no one seemed to have any interest in helping us until we met Dan Riccomini w/ Drippe. He went above and beyond for us when we felt completely lost and hopeless. Not only did Dan help us design our dream home he has been by our side providing guidance and expertise with our insurance claim and policy. Dan has always made himself available anytime of day to help us with our needs. While we are still in the construction phase, we are excited to see the final product and will share updates and pictures once fully completed.

As a mortgage company owner, I have the opportunity to work with many builders. I have to say that Dan Riccomini stands out from the crowd. Very professional, prepared and ready to make your home building experience a positive one.

We closed on our home 12/27/24 and shortly after closing we started experiencing some problems. Steve (the warranty administrator) came out to our home and assessed the issues and began implementing repairs as per the warranty. As I began doing research on some of the products utilized in the home build, Chad Slaven (the general manager) claimed that a home warranty was not part of our home purchase. Chad offered to provide us a warranty in exchange for us signing an NDA. My wife and I refused to sign the NDA, so Chad refused to fix any of the builder defects with our home. Furthermore, Chad restricted communication between us and any Drippe representative unless it was through an attorney.

Thankfully, Chad has been let go from Drippe! Steve came out to our house to begin addressing our concerns once again now that Chad is not able to restrict him from properly doing his job.

I previously gave Drippe a 1-star rating and a huge part of that was how Chad Slaven treated us and handled business. I am now giving a 3-star rating and will upgrade to a 5-star as long as Drippe follows through with their promises and properly repairs our home.

Our experience with Drippe Homes has been nothing short of great! They addressed our issues immediately and completely. They educated and reassured us. Moving from a 60 year old home that was literally falling apart, to this beautiful new construction has been a blessing! Thank you Drippe!

So glad we bought a Drippe Home. My wife and I had been looking for quite awhile and I wasn't too pleased with what we were seeing. Maybe I was being too in particular but after being in the construction industry just shy of 50 years, one can really see and tell the difference in workmanship, material choices, equipment, appliances, and overall quality. And, Drippe hit a home run on all accounts. Although we have had a few warranty related items come up, all have been very minor and Drippe's warranty guy, Steve, has been great to work with. We have owned our home for four years and our disk lights have been going out frequently.

I called Drippé and I was connected with Steve who handles their home warranty. Even though my warranty has been expired for a few years, Steve hooked us up and replaced the lights without question. Steve even contacted the manufacturer and was able to get additional warranty information for the lights.

I'd like to start this review by stating that I work in the construction industry. Specifically I plan, sell and manage residential HVAC and electrical installations for new homes as well as remodels.
I searched and searched for the right builder for my own custom home. I was pleasantly surprised when I met Zach Gallegos with Drippe Homes, and he expressed to me that they would have no issues with me managing the mechanical aspects of my home personally. We very quickly scheduled my first plan and design meeting.
I initially had my own set of floor plans, however I discovered that they already had an assortment of plans published on their website that were very well thought out and designed. I found a plan there that I immediately knew I liked. We had our first plan and design meeting via a zoom conference call. Within minutes Zach and his architect were able to make custom changes to the floor plan I had chosen. Then they sent me an online survey to help them get an idea of what my exterior and interior design preferences were.
A week later we met in person at one of the houses their company built. It was fully finished and I was able to truly grasp what the end result of my house would be.
We met with the interior designer Payton and she had a multitude of samples to choose from based on my preferences from the survey I completed. The whole process was very easy and enjoyable.
Another week later Zach sent me a cost to build, with my custom plans and specs included. I found the price to be very reasonable, especially concerning the current cost of EVERYTHING. We quickly came to an agreement and within a month the excavation was completed and the foundation was installed.
Once the foundation was complete I was assigned a jobsite manager named Vince. Vince was very pleasant. he was on site frequently and we kept in contact on a sometimes daily basis, ensuring that the job was going smoothly and the contractors were doing their jobs to my satisfaction.
During this time they hired my company to do some work for them on other projects as well, and so a business relationship was formed. Everyone from their company was an absolute pleasure to work with. They are honest and the work is done quickly without compromise to the final outcome of the work. I was able to experience this as a contractor who worked for them, as well as a client whom they were working for.
My house was complete in less than 6 months, and I am absolutely satisfied with the end result. The attention to detail in their builds is unparalleled, and during the construction process I was able to make changes on the spot if there was something I wanted done a bit differently.
Here is a brief list of things that I really like about my own custom home:
The coffered ceilings
The tile floors in all of the bathrooms
The fireplace
The granite countertops
The basement storage room and mechanical room(it's huge)
The spacious 3 car garage
The large back patio with a great view to the West
The tall windows in the main rooms
The smaller windows in areas like the bathrooms for privacy

The overall layout and use of space inside the house
My father was the ultimate provider. he worked hard and wanted the best for our family. Building this house was a luxury that I wanted to provide for my own son and I must say that, hearing his constant expressions of "Dad, I love our home" and "Dad, thank you for my big bedroom," and "Dad, I love sitting in the dining room and having breakfast together" are an absolute joy. I had contemplated buying a house down the street from where we built. That house was 20 years old and the aesthetic qualities looked dated. Ultimately, building my dream home didn't cost me much more, and my son and I are so very happy here.
If you are contemplating building a home of your own, these are the guys you should hire. A big, big shoutout to Zach, Vince, Mike, Nichol, Ryan and all of the other contractors who helped build this wonderful place that we now call home.

Bought a brand new Drippe home last summer. After a year in the house, we are very happy. The original purchase price was a good value. We absolutely love the house. Great quality and great company.

Finding Drippe changed everything for me. I thought I had a stalled build plan that had halted due to doubts I had with another builder’s prices and process. On a whim, six months after giving up, I walked through a home built by Drippe and I immediately knew that this builder would be a good match for the type of home I want – high quality, but also fit for a mindful budget. After a consultation with Zack, I knew that this was a TEAM that would take my project to the finish line. Zack was able to take my build plans and work them to fit my ideal points. I was set up with a Designer, Brandi, who knew great finishes and combinations in selections that elevated what I already had picked out. She even found better products at the same or lower price point. Meanwhile, they did all of the hard work on city permits and how to get utilities and ground prepared for the build. They didn’t just want to build a house; they wanted to build it right. That made me feel so taken care of from the early stages. Then, the Project Manager took the build plans and worked through my process day-by-day, week-by-week. He always let me know realistic timelines, called me when a sub-contractor had a question or a suggestion for the Owner, and truly made it to where he took all of the details off my plate, but gave the details back to me when it made sense. It was almost too easy. Thank you, to the Drippe team, for all of the service and care I received and thank you more for everything you did behind the scenes to take my greatest personal investment and make it a beautiful end product that I will find joy in for decades to come. Your team is truly the best.

We relocated to Lawrence, KS from Maryland this summer. The homes is beautiful and everything we could want. It is just the right size, the design colors for the interior are just right. The quality is exceptional. Our project manager, Kyle was very professional, friendly and ver knowledgeable about our home. We would recommend this builder to anyone looking to build a new home!

Drippe Homes has been wonderful from start to finish. From my first inquiry - Zack was always prompt, answered my many many questions as a first time home builder, and made the process easy and most importantly - FUN! Zack even recommended having the framers widen one of my doorways into the basement hallway to make sure furniture could easily be brought in - not to mention the outlet on my ceiling so my daugther could run lights around her room without having to plug in the cord where the normal outlets would be (brilliant). Even the process of picking out all the finishes, materials, paint colors, etc. was a breeze. Having an interior designer there to help process everything was reassuring and Payton continued to help me with mirrors and even window coverings. My project manager Vince has been amazing. He even responded to my late night texts when I suddenly had a question I didn't want to forget about. He made sure to follow up with any little projects that needed completed after the final walk through and even pointed out things I didn't notice and took care of them. Now my dream of moving into a home that I only could envision in my head will be taking place next week. If you are thinking about building a new home or know you want to - I highly recommend you starting with Drippe Homes.

We absolutely love our home and location, the home is well built and sits on a decent size property, almost a half acre. The neighborhood is quiet and plenty of space between homes.

What I would recommend improving:

1. Landscape and Sprinklers - back yard has no sod and what ever seed that was laid down is sporadic so there are patches of grass through out the back yard leaving room for weeds to grow. When I moved in the front lawn sod was mostly dead and infested with weeds, I had to put in lots of money and effort to bring the grass back. I think if you install sprinklers, this would be a huge game changer for home buyers. I would not have minded having the cost of the sprinklers and landscape added to the price of the home.

2. Our biggest pain were window screens. It took almost 9 - 10 months for us to get our screens.

3. Do a thorough walk through with the home buyers and identify things early on rather than waiting until the end of the first year.

Would I recommend Drippé homes? Absolutely yes, home is beautiful and well built.

Drippe built our custom home. We had some delays and issues as per just about any project out in the market at the time, but they did a fantastic job at minimizing those issues and working with us to resolve concerns as they arose. Ultimately they were an excellent partner in helping us get our home up and running in amazing time from initial sales contact to completion and all the way through warranty work.

We recently purchased a 2 year old home built by Drippe asking about who we could contact about some issues we discovered in our move. We were referred by Ali, the receptionist , who was very courteous and helpful who referred us to Steve, who is in warranty department. Not only did he listen to our issues but actually came out and addressed himself the problems with lights not working, garage door sticking, pantry forts sticking etc. he is also following up with subcontractors about fence issues . Did not expect him to do any of this since we are the new owners after 2. 1/2 since newly constructed. Just another example of the continued benefits of purchasing and owning a ripped home!!! Would highly recommend them to anyone.

We feel like we received a very quality home, and we love it. But, from almost the very beginning we felt the communication from the Drippe team was lacking. We were supposed to receive a weekly update, that was more like a every 2 week update most times. There was an instance where their framers changed from the plans without our OK, that violated the contract, but I just let it slide. When we had questions it sometimes took days to get answered. What we were the most disappointed with though was the customer service after our closing and on warranty items. Our build was not in Drippe's normal building area and they had a hard time getting their sub-contractors to come back to our house. It also took 6 months to get some items fixed or replaced. We submitted a final warranty punch list 6 weeks prior to the warranty being up and things are still not completed to our satisfaction on it.

We recently moved into our new home built by Drippe’ Construction. The timeline for construction went as expected and the availability of products and services for construction was excellent. There were only a few very minor corrections to the original plans along the way. The Project Manager, John Henry Tardiff, was excellent to work with and responded in a timely manner to every question we had during construction and after closing. Other Drippe’ employees, Devin and TJ, were excellent in constructing and completing wood finishes. Brandi Whisler at Carpet One was excellent at providing great ideas for everything from interior paint to carpet and carpet padding. We have been impressed with the timely follow up of sub-contractors for a few minor issues. The Warranty Specialist, Steve, has been very responsive and helpful. Thanks to all on the Drippe’ Team for a quality constructed home. We love it!

Steve, Drippes warranty manager was a consummate professional and very receptive to our home needs. The warranty painter John went above and beyond and was extremely accommodating. Will be recommending him to anyone I know for any paint jobs. Drippe has been great to us on our first home.

I am one that will admit when I am wrong. I voiced some frustrations towards the wrong individuals and for the wrong reasons.
Mike has done more for our neighborhood development than what was originally announced, and for that I am very grateful. They have gone well and above what is required and asked of them. To Mike and the Drippe team, please accept my apology.

We purchased a spec home from Drippe and they have been amazing to work with. They were there before closing and made sure we understood everything about the house and appliances. Then when we were approaching the end of our 1-year warranty, they followed up and we’re very responsive to any issues we had which were very few. If you are looking for a great builder who is responsive and does the extra to make your house a home look no further than Drippe.

Highly recommend! We were fortunate to have the opportunity to have them build our new construction home in 2020-2021 and can’t emphasize enough how wonderful our experience was. From the very beginning of the process, the Drippe representatives with whom we worked were absolutely fabulous. Brandi, their lead interior designer, immediately understood the look we were going for and enthusiastically helped us choose all of our finishes, from hardware to flooring to paint colors to countertops. While the house was under construction, we received detailed weekly logs from the construction manager Zack describing all of the work that had been done — the level of transparency from them really helped us feel confident that we had made the right choice. After we moved into our home, we also had a great experience working with Steve to address any issues and repairs while our house was still under warranty (not that there were many major repairs in the first place). Any time we noticed an issue, Steve was quick to jump in and address it, sometimes even coming by personally to make sure it was fixed promptly. Finally, we also really loved meeting and working with John, one of the painter/carpenters Drippe uses. His attention to detail and his expert knowledge of painting and carpentry is unparalleled. We are really thankful to have connected with him and plan to use him again for any future painting or carpentry projects.

Aside from how great it was to work with Drippe, we are SO happy with how our house turned out. Everything is beautiful, built well, and thoughtfully-designed. Sometimes, we honestly can’t believe we get to own and live in such a gorgeous home!

In 2017, we bought the perfect piece of property to build our dream home. Our first encounter with Jeremy from Drippe was very positive so we knew right away that they were the company we wanted to use. My husband was deployed shortly after that first meeting, so it was something I had to tackle alone with his input from afar. I was worried about all the stresses I would encounter...but none of that happened! We were shown a few Drippe properties and were able to customize as our own with no issues. The process almost felt too easy! The Drippe team, Jeremy, Ryan and John were very attentive, professional, communicative, and displayed a level of customer service you don't see often. Being a very indecisive person, it was actually a breeze to work with the professionals on selecting tile, flooring, fixtures, cabinets, paint colors, stone, etc. I had heard nightmare stories from others on what to expect when building a home who used other builders, but our experience was quite the opposite. If there were issues, they were remedied quickly and without hassle. I continue to hear and see horror stories from others on the home building process and how long and miserable it has been for them. I count my blessings daily for our Drippe experience. I would highly recommend them without hesitation!

I was very happy with Drippe Homes. I'm a single guy who had no idea about design, paint, colors, style, etc., but Drippe had all the services and the right people to work with me to build the house that I enjoy. They spent time with me at the carpet, tile and flooring shop, and the garage door and stonework shop. They asked me the right questions to understand me personally, and gave me the final decision on everything. They stayed within budget and made any of the last minute changes I came up with. If I ever build again, I'll go with Drippe homes!

Mike Drippe constructed our handicap accessible home to meet VA specifications (which are arduous) when other builders would not. Knowing that my husband had limited time to live, he made sure we were in our home so John could enjoy it. Service after the sale has made my life easier and I am blessed to have the team of superb sub-contractors in my life. Quality and pride in workmanship makes a Drippe home stand above. We are very happy with Drippe Homes. They were the only company that actually took us to other homes they built to look for ideas and quality. This was our first home build so we had a lot of questions. What stood out the most for us was how quickly Dan Riccomini picked up on the style of home we were wanting. He listened to our ideas and gave us advice on ways to make our dreams reality. We wanted to do some tweaking on the floor plans they showed us, and how easy they made it happen. The other is how well they kept us within budget and informed when issues came up. We bought a new build from Drippe last spring. Great pricing, and easy to work with throughout the sales process. Minor repairs that needed fixing were done at no cost to me. Definitely recommend them as a great home builder in Manhattan!

We chose Drippe to build our house after observing the work and professionalism that our daughter & son-in-law received while Drippe built their house.
Our project manager was Dan R. and he responded to questions and calls in a very timely manner, always keeping us informed throughout the entire process.
We’ve been in our house for 5 years now, still love it, and know that if any questions were to arise, Drippe would be there to advise and assist us in any way possible.

Drippe homes built our home two years ago. We were planning to retire in April 2019, and worked with them long distance from Colorado for the entire design & construction. They gave us an existing floor plan and then worked with us on the tweaks we wanted. We timed several visits back to Kansas to make time -sensitive decisions, but much of it had to be done via phone & email with Dan Riccomini and Zack Gallegos. They were great to work with and we are very happy with our house. Our home was done several weeks ahead of schedule. An added bonus has been that we only had two minor warranty issues during our first year. We are very happy to recommend Drippe Homes.

We built our house with Drippe at the end of 2014. We worked with Mike on Design; we had some custom changes we wanted. There was also some custom wiring I wanted done as well. They were very accommodating to those needs, as well as keeping price in mind for us. Dan, our project manager for the build, was a rockstar. He was always super responsive and accommodating. Even years after our build I've kept in contact with Dan and reached out about recommendations. I'm not sure when we'll want to move to a new home, but when that is, well definitely reach out to Drippe.

The building process was extremely easy, and our house was built very quickly. They have been responsive to any questions we had during the process as well as follow ups after.

We had a new build with Drippe construction. They were Very professional and friendly people. They were easy to work with and stayed within our strict budget. They worked with us 100% of the time, not just during our build. Highly recommend this company.

We bought new built home in Topeka. Loved the design. We've had issues. The paint job inside is poor, they missed some paint and caulking. We got that corrected after a few times of contacting the project manager. The drainage system isn't the greatest. Not going where the water is supposed to go. Our back door has an area where the coating is gone. Never repaired, after asking project manager 3 times. He doesn't get back with me.Not what we thought a new home experience would be.

This is the fourth home I have built. They have a very smooth system on place that made the selection process easy. I choose to do custom additions to a floor plan that they provided and was very happy with the results. Great communication with the project manager and the build tools website where my daily schedule was posted was an easy way for me to see where the project was at. Warranty items are just an email away with their online system.

Bought a house that was built in 2017 as a “Model Home” for Drippe Construction. We purchased the house in January of 2018 and were the first owners of the house. Needing to move quickly we walked through the house just twice and didn’t do a thorough overview of the quality which is our fault. We were told this company had built many houses and that their work was quality and we’ll know builder in the Manhattan/Topeka/Lawrence area. After living here for less than a year this company ain’t worried quality but quantity. The amount of steps skipped building this house is alarming.

First off the garage slopes into the house. Try to hose the garage out during the summer or when snow drops off the vehicles in the winter the water slopes back into the house instead of away. Very frustrating.

Secondly the yard was sloped terribly. All the water runs back towards the house causing the foundation to settle wrong. Again very frustrating and something that could of been easily avoided.

Third the window wells are a complete disaster. They are built so wrong it’s not even funny. They used two different sizes of corrugated metal in the wells. They didn’t buy big enough ones so cut another piece and slid over the other one to make it large enough. My assumption this would have been fine expect they put the metal inside of the original piece instead of on the house. Now all the water runs between the two pieces and into the window well. This cause my basement to flood a short 14 months after living here. The house would of flooded again May 1st 2020 if I hadn’t purchased a water pump to avoid this happening again.

The drains in the window wells aren’t the right size or height. Have had 2 different contractors look at the window wells and both have said this house shouldn’t of passed inspection with those drains.

I contacted the builder after the basement flooded in May of 2019. I was away on work so I had my wife walk around the house with 2 people from Drippe. I don’t have their names but I do believe one was the owner. The 2 reps agreed that the sloping was wrong and so were the window wells. They agreed with everything that needed to be done and told the wife they would follow up with me. Zero. Not a phone call or text.

The follow up after the sale of the house was next to nothing. I should of demanded things to be fixed correctly before buying the house but I caught up with it being a “new” house and built by a reputable builder in NE Kansas. I wouldn’t of bought the house if I known how poorly it was built and sloped.
