We used Chris for an inspection in Alamance County. He was prompt with communications, personable, reasonably priced, and conducted a very comprehensive pre-purchase inspection. His report was delivered the same day as the inspection and was written in a very clear manner with photographs to help explain the findings. Highly recommend and would use again.

I am so glad that Chris was available to do our home inspection. We are buying an older home that we knew had some areas that would need TLC. Chris did a very thorough job of going over the house and then spent a lot of time discussing his findings and talking through possible remediation. Chris and Dragonfly did the home inspection when my partner and I were buying a new home in Chapel Hill. Chris did an incredibly thorough job and wrote an exhaustive report. He also sat down and explained all the major items in the report with me and my real estate agent. This was the first time I went through the home buying process, and Chris really helped me understand all the different issues we would have to address as homeowners without making it overwhelming. In addition, after we moved in we had a problem with a water leak in the ceiling. Although this was from damage that occurred well after the initial inspection (from squirrels or raccoons that got on the roof), Chris spent a lot of time helping us think about how to respond when we walked into the kitchen and saw a huge new water stain on the ceiling. I highly recommend Chris and Dragonfly.

In 2017, Chris provided exceptional customer service while inspecting my new home. He first inspected it as an 11th month warranty inspection and identified a couple of issues that the builder had to correct. Fast forward three and a half years, and Chris provided the same exceptional service. Specifically, I contacted him to recommend a structural engineer because of possible foundation issues. He offered to look at the issues first to determine if I even had to hire a structural engineer. He determined the issues were very minor and expected as a new home settles. I offered to pay him for his time and expertise, but he insisted it was all part of the service I hired him for over three years earlier! Now that is a true example of an ethical, customer-centered business. I highly recommend Chris and Dragonfly Home Inspections !
