I initially spoke with Bill on the phone and messaged him regarding some roofing work I needed done, and he said he would follow up with me and never did. When I followed up, he read my message, didn’t respond, and then sent my call to voicemail. Extremely unprofessional. If you need roofing work, I recommend avoiding this company altogether and finding one that actually values communication and customer service.

We called Dominion for an emergency repair. They had not installed the roof, but Bill came right away. He quickly repaired the missing shingles. He was great! We are looking forward to having him replace the roof soon. Thanks for a job well done! Sam and Wanda Notzon

We had a small leak in our kitchen last Sunday which was the result of the people who did our renovation cutting some corners on the work. We knew this would come up but of course a week before the holidays was not a great time. Called Bill on Monday, he was here Tuesday morning, gave a detailed and reasonable estimate, for what turned out to be a very minor fix, and the job was done by Friday. Dominion Roofing was one of three companies that bid on my roofing job, but Bill Fowler was the only one who observed specific problems created by out-of-date construction techniques and recommended a full solution. Bill worked with me graciously when delays in other work on my house and adverse spring weather required pushing back his schedule. His team ultimately performed all of the work (full roof and gutter tear-off and upgrade replacement and installation of new soffit venting) in a timely fashion. Bill also worked with me professionally to resolve an unexpected cost overrun resulting from the necessity of replacing severely rotted fascia boards. Prior to this job, Dominion Roofing had also promptly repaired leaks in a previous roof, and professionally rebuilt and reroofed a rotted and leaking porch roof. I highly recommend Dominion Roofing and will call them first for any future work.

I am still delighted with the roof Bill installed back in 2017 and grateful to Bill for making the whole process much easier than I'd expected! Bill responded to all of my questions promptly and was particularly patient with my indecision about materials. We were delayed by weather and Bill apologetically kept me informed about the unavoidable changes in the schedule. The crew was spectacularly neat (special thanks for keeping the garden safe!) and worked late hours to complete the project as quickly as possible. I always want to use local businesses whenever I can, and I would recommend Dominion Roofing without hesitation.
I can add a 2020 update to this with further thanks to Bill for dealing with my insurance company (not a pleasant experience) to repair damage to a shed roof caused by a neighbor's tree that dropped a huge branch through it. Finally, at my request for help just a few days ago, Bill simply dropped by and repaired damage to some dormer siding from an unknown cause-- I think the squirrels were out house-hunting and I'm happy that Bill encouraged them to keep looking elsewhere!

Bill is fantastic. He helped with the design and installation of our Ecostar roof. It was a complex job with many angles and pitch changes. His team was professional and the daily clean up was amazing. Bill was a great communicator and kept us up to date on the progress of the job. Excellent experience with Dominion Roofing. This was my second experience with Dominion and as in the previous time they were quick to offer a fix to my roofing issue. They were able to respond reasonably to obtaining materials and scheduling me in for the repair. When there was an issue with weather and material procurement the kept me up to date. Bill replaced my roof in 2017. He and his team did a great job. The roof is in mint condition 5 years later and I have not had any issues with it. I recommend Dominion Roofing to anyone needing roof work of any kind.

Bill came out to our house after we had a wind storm knock down trees on our roof. We had a lot of roofers come by and give us estimates. Bill was by far the most honest straight forward person we had met. He was very professional , he told us his opinion and stayed with in his original estimate. The quality and workmanship is amazing. He changed the whole look of our house with a new roof and gutters. The new gutters are great. The roof looks incredible. They only replaced the boards that needed replacing and explained everything the whole way through. Always great communication. Thanks again Bill! We are customers for life!

I had some shingles that came off during a storm, I called Dominion and they came the next day with matching shingles and replaced the missing shingles. Not many companies would be that responsive. I highly recommend Dominion and wouldn’t use any other company.

Bill came out to our home the very next day after our initial call. He diagnosed the problem efficiently (we had 2 other companies come out- gutter and roofing- that could not properly identify the issues we were having with water leaking/overflow). He sent estimates for the repair cost (temporary fix) as well as the cost to completely replace the shingles with proper materials for the low slope roof we have that was most likely causing much of the issue (long term fix). His prices are competitive and honest. We opted to get the repair and replace the roofing material and then we got hit with snow storm after snow storm. As soon as the last storm moved out and enough melt had occurred, Bill was texting me to get the job done the very next day. He and his team came on a Friday and were done quickly, efficiently and didn’t leave a scrap of debris on my property. He followed up multiple times over the following week to ensure there were no water issues as it rained the day after the work was completed. I highly recommend their services.
