DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY OR CAPITAL BUILDINGS!!!!!!! Please don't! I very very rarly write a review but after all the problems I had and have with my building I don't want others to have the same. I gave it 1 star because it wouldn't let me give it a -5. I will start in the beginning. I bought it at Capital Buildings I drove 4 hours to make the deposit on the building. Picked out the options I wanted and talked with the guy about what to expect for a time line. That was the first of June in 2021. He said that 6-8 weeks from that day they would come pour the concrete and 8-10 weeks after that they put the build up. NOT TURE! In August they came and poured the concrete. Three weeks after they dug the footers. I told him that day that my building was being built on sand and that they couldn't dig the footers and leave it more then a few days and not to come dig them if rain was expected before they could pour it. Well that didn't happen! If I hadn't been home that day they would have pour it with cleaning out the footers that had washed in bad because of it being sand. Me and my 9 year son old started cleaning out the footer and had to tell the cement guys not to pour cement until the footers were cleaned out under the rebar. Because the footers washed in so bad that it took an extra yard of concrete that I had to pay for after I had already paid them for the concrete and pay them to pout it. The first rip off. On top of all that they didn't do a very good job of pouring it. I expected some cracks in the concrete, I have never seen concrete that didn't crack. But not this many and it didn't even have the weight of the building on it yet. So 8-10 weeks came and went no building, 4 months no building, 6 months no building, 12 months no building. After having to get a Lawyer involved they were suppose to have the building put up in two weeks they didn't make that either. Well 14 months after the deposit they came to put the building up. They drove 4 hours and got to my house at 7:30 I gave them the check they started unloading the building. I notice that something didn't look right. I ask them what center the base was built on he said 5' I told him I paid to have 4' centers I went got my paperwork and he called the boss and then they had to drive 4 hours back home because they had the wrong base. They didn't bring any plans on how the building was suppose to be built. The building inspector had to correct them on serval of the issue. They come back two days later with right base and started putting up the building on Saturday morning. Sunday morning they started to put the roof on and the roof sheets were 2 feet to short for the roof. 4 hour drive back to get the right roof sheets. They came back on Thursday to put the roof on again. One of the windows was cracked I took pictures and talked to the office about that and some other problems. When they cut out for the windows it was so jagged it look like they use a shark to bite the metal with. It was so bad I have seen saw blades with less teeth. That was on all four widows. They cut the opening to big on two of the windows and didn't the enough metal the correct the problem so they put a piece of metal over the metal that was cut wrong leaving a place for water to leak in. I stayed on them about warranty work for over a year and they never came back to fix anything. Yes I still have a cracked window and yes the building still leaks around all four windows. They still owe me the shutters on all four windows that they were suppose to came back and put on. DO NOT BUY FROM EITHER ONE OF THESE COMPANY. There is a reason why they don't have reviews on their websites.

I have a 30 by 45 building from them and it is rusting on the roof I’ve tried to email call Them several times to get this issue fixed cause the metal is under warranty and I’ve sent pictures and have a contract stating that the metal has a 25 yr rust and durability warranty so take ur chance on them oh by the way it’s June 2023 and I contacted them back before Christmas of 2022!

They were ahead of schedule so we got our building earlier than expected which was great! They got it done in one day and we love our building!

Purchased building 2022 once building was completed noticed that the building has several leaks called to report the leaks Mr. Fartin replied that he would come back to replace metal and also informed us that the installer was fired due other complaints. He came out to look at the building and told us he would be back once the metal was ordered. We have made numerous calls and lady answered and stated that they were not obligated to come out and fix repairs. Now it is 01/31/2023 and building is still leaking.

Good work , no problem at this time . The guy over it was nice and tried to do it right .

I like the building, just not the games that them and their installer play. Can't get the installer to come fix the anchors on the back of my building even though he said several times he would. They tell you that they will send you a gift card for giving them a 5 star review but I've been waiting 2 months and no gift card and neither them or the installer will answer my calls. I deleted my original review. These kind of games are unacceptable in my book.

They come out and built me a 24x24a frame carport it was perfect no problems great people to work with best prices in town highly recommend to use them the owners are great people

I had a 24x26 A Frame carport installed. It’s perfect for 2 vehicles. It was a great price and turned out really nice. The installers did a great job. I would use this company again and recommend to friends and family.

Luis' crew built a carport with lean to for me and did an excellent job! They were courteous, prompt, and the structure looks great!

I was amazed with the technician's work, he was understandable and knew exactly what he was doing.Now I have a wonderful garage. Everyone praise it.

The communications from the start were great and the guys let us know in advance when to be ready for their arrival. We had a rough old surface, and the quality of the workmanship was top notch. In the end, the floor came out looking even better than we could have expected. Would definitely recommend Diamond Outdoor of the Carolinas.

Put up a building sub out from Capital Buildings,They do poor quality and don't care, just get it up and to next job.Don't know who done those great reviews, sure was not the crew did my building.Pictures to prove IT. Holes in roof and wall and gable end also rain on floor.Be sure to look at BBB complaints before you get them do anything.I sure would love to look at jobs they done with great reviews.

They had my 24x44 building put up fast and looked great! They honor their word and respect your time and are very dependable. Thank you all of those who helped. Great job and thank you!!!

Diamond Outdoor of the Carolinas is a great garage builder. They make garage building easy by putting all of the wood together, so that you don't have to.They put all the wood together and even put the shingles on. I would highly recommend using Diamond Outdoor of the Carolinas to build your next garage!

I ordered a building through these people over a year ago every time I call to get a check up on my materials they have nothing to tell me I signed a contract for the building in the beginning had the concrete poured 11 months later I get told they want to give me back my deposit on my building because they don't want to put it up this has been the worst experience I've ever had in my life to buy anything save yourself the headache and go somewhere else they told me if I want my building I have to come pick it up myself

I purchased my barn style carport from Diamond Outdoors. It looks great and the price was very good. The installation was done very professionally. I am super happy with my new carport. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was I did not get a return call when I was told I would on multiple occasions. I know a lot of people have said it took a long time to get their buildings installed and it did for me as well but Covid messing up the supply chain had a big part in that. I did the gravel pad work myself so don't judge by that.

They built my barn and were honest enough to return cash that I had mistakenly over paid, upstanding company, ggreat product, I can't recommend them enough

We ordered and paid our deposit for our building in July of 2020. They estimated us 4-6 weeks after concrete. We were never once contacted by the business for updates, scheduling info, etc. After having to call over 5 times regarding scheduling, we were finally given a date and told we were on the schedule. They then rescheduled that date 4 times, but never once did they call us to tell us they were not coming. My husband had to call when they did not show up, for them to tell us that they were not coming either due to "rain" or "staffing related issues", resulting in my husband missing work because of their incompetent scheduling staff (Doris). Eventually, we began speaking with a manager (Misty), who was more informative, but still lacked in communication. The installers finally came on February 24 (SEVEN months after ordering/paying our deposit) to begin work. They worked for around 4 hours, and then left, yet again without any form of communication. When we got home and saw that hardly any work was done, we called and were told that one of the workers was "not feeling well" so they left. When we got home, there were remainders of beer, and trash all over our yard. The next day, we were told they would arrive around 9:00am, but did not come until around noon. Again, we are having to take off time from work to be able to pay them. They finally completed the building late that night after dark, so after inspecting more closely the next day in daylight, we discovered leaks in the roof, the bottom siding was left too long leaving it bent against the concrete pad as they screwed it into the frame. We called regarding repairs on March 1 and spoke with Misty - we emailed them all of the photos of the work and she stated on March 2 that the repairs had been given to the installer. Since March 2, we have called 2 more times regarding when someone will be out for repairs, and still have not heard a word from a single person at this company. So here we are, seven months later, and we are left with a leaking building that was done with sloppy work, and not to mention we still do not have garage doors on said building, which leaves it still useless to us due to the possibility of theft, etc. There is no amount of "rain" or "staffing issues" in the world to excuse my husband and I creating and delivering a human into this world before this company can install a building properly. And as someone who has worked in scheduling for over five years, I cannot believe the lack of communication and care that the management at this company allows. Learn from our mistakes. Spend the extra money, and use a different company.

I have to say I was beginning to think I would never have a building after 10 months of waiting but it was finally put up yesterday! This company is struggling to get materials just like everybody else not to mention finding people to work to install the buildings. Yes it sucks having to wait but they will eventually get to you! Our building was put up in a day and a half and the guys did an awesome job!

Have been waiting on an extension for my building for almost 8 months. They called and said they would be here on February 17th. Took the day off and at lunch time noone had showed or called. I called and was told they would get right back with me and let me know a time. Installer called at 5:30 asking ME if it was gonna rain the next day. Of course it was! Ask what day would be good and I said it would be Monday. Installer hung up and neither him or Diamond Outdoors will answer or return my calls. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND CAPITOL BUILDINGS!!

Great building at a great price. I see people complaining about customer service and responsiveness. Yes, they may be a little slow getting back to you, but I always got an answer and my building was Installed on schedule and just like I ordered it. If you want too notch customer service and responsive phone calls, pay the extra 30 grand and get that. I wanted a good building at a great price. Have had mine for 5 years now I think. 30 foot by 40 foot 10 foot walls 2 10 foot doors and 2 walk through door. $7500.00 10K with the pad.

***DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE. I wouldn’t buy a damn screw from this place. Customer service is horrible during the buying process and after. Don’t buy they Capitol Buildings either. This place is a sub contractor for them. Can not get any answers or service from either company. They are horrible. Good thing I live 2 hours away from this place. They do t even deserve 1 Star.

Don’t use this company. My uncle had his garage put up last summer and it took them forever to get everything set to put up. Well this winter the first snow we had the thing caved in. The company has be contacted on multiple occasions and it’s been at least 4 months and nothing has been done. Nor do I think they are going to do anything about it. Was never ask about extra bracing for snow or anything.

This company is currently the subcontractor for Capitol buildings that is supposed to install my garage. Worst service ever. They fail to communicate and call with 2 days notice expecting me to jump. Then when I do take days off to wait for them, they wait until halfway through the day to call-off. They don't answer the phone often, and none of their voicemails work. If you get them as a sub on your building project, get ready, it's going to be a rough ride.

Donnie and his crew did an excellent job on my cement slab. On time, great communication, quality job. I would highly recommend them for all your concrete work. Waiting on the second building from Diamond Outdoor now.Thanks to Donnie and his concrete crew.

do not use this company. took them 5 weeks to install my doors after building was put up. had to call them repeatedly and they would say they'd call me back but they never would. had to threaten them with a lawyer before they would even show interest. fair priced but customer service is terrible. even the installer says they are treating people bad and unfair.

I know they had a bad wrap from the past but they I went against what others said and bought a 40x40x14 and they done the concrete and installed the building. Louis and his crew did a great job. And I let all my friends know how they did. You can't always harp on past experiences. So if your thinking about diamond outdoor I would consider them.

Bought a 24 x 48 metal building 3 weeks after my brother ordered the same size building. Got diamond outdoors to finally deliver the building after threatening to come in person to solve the issue. Upon delivering the 2 buildings they creased 2 panels by jack-knifing the trailer in my field, forgot all 4 roll up doors, forgot numerous metal tubing pieces and all of the screws and brackets. The 2 guys that delivered demanded the full amount for the building before they would even unload it and after being paid and looking through informed me that there were missing pieces. Now week after week after the 8th or 9th phone call back to back with no answer I finally talk to a person and am told "your buildings will be installed this week". Now I have 2 halves of our buildings sitting in our yard, no roll up doors, no screws, no brackets and numerous other missing pieces. Can't get another installer to come in now even if we wanted because of all the missing pieces. You have to call diamond outdoors back to back to back and might reach them after the 8th call. At this point we are planning on loading everything up on a trailer, driving the 130 miles to diamond outdoors and getting a full refund. This is NOT the way to do business, the better business bureau has been contacted and civil action will be taken next week.

UPDATE: Diamond outdoors had the buildings installed within the week allowed, installation crew was fast and proffesional, hasnt even been 2 weeks since they were installed. During the snow we just got on december 9th one building completely caved in and the other started caving down. We have 4 other metal buildings on the property that have been up for over 4 years now and they all manage to hold up with no issues, these are NEW and couldnt hold a little bit of snow. Looking at the construction of diamond outdoors buildings vs. The other steel carport style buildings its very obvious that the ones installed by diamond outdoors lack braces to support any weight on the roof, poor engineering. Now its back to calling and getting no answer from diamond outdoors to try and see what can be done about this issue, will post an update once contact is made

They put up a 40x45 garage and did an excellent job ! Waited a little longer than I wanted to but it's understandable for the amount of buildings they sell and install

I called for a quote and was give a reasonable price. I asked to go ahead and send me a contract through email and I’ll send it back once I’ve reviewed and completed it. Two days later I still haven’t received a contract. I called about it and was put on hold for 20 mins and decided to hang up. I called back an hour later and was told that she (April) was on the other line with another customer (whatever happened to first come, first served). She then told me that she’ll get it ready and send it out to me the next day. It’s been a week now and still nothing. I called back and someone picked up and hung up right away. I called 4 times after that and no one picked up. I then decided to read the reviews and after seeing these reviews I’m glad I didn’t build a contract with them.

Is it so much to ask for that people just do their job? Garage installer was suppose to arrive at 10a this morning. I get up at 9am, which eats into my sleep time since I'm on 2nd shift. So..10am Waiting..11pm waiting..12 pm..waiting. Not even a phone call. At 2p I call the company because I have to be at work in an hour. The office said he (the installer) loaded up the material and left awhile ago but maybe he just hit traffic (he's coming from ashboro and I'm in Raeford) she gives me his cell phone number so that I CAN CALL to check with him. No answer, no voicemail setup after 3 calls. I call the company back at 330p and she says "Well if he's not there by now it'll prolly be tomorrow". Probably be tomorrow?? I say "can YOU call YOUR MAN and see and call ME back and let me know definitely when he will be here because if I go to work and he shows up with no one home y'all ain't charging me an extra $200 delivery trip because no one is home". It's now 6pm, 2 and half hours later.. no call back.. no idea if the guy will be there tomorrow.. no nothing.. if you're gonna be late..fine.. if you have to push it a day because something came up..fine.. is it too much to ask for you to tellTHE CUSTOMER so they don't sit around and miss 3 hours of work? All that said, the people who came out to pour the concrete were good. Showed up on time and worked hard. If they weren't part of the same company, they would get a five.

I dealt with this company off of a friend's recommendation, did not research the company before our dealings. They have earned there F rating with the better business bureau (the installer was a nice guy is the only positive I got)

They have an F rating with the BBB for good reason! Purchased a 10x8 roll-up door 9 months ago from Diamond Outdoor and an internal component failed. Took the broken part to Diamond and was told that the part couldn't be repaired as it was internal to the roll-up door and to bring the entire door in with the original receipt and it would be replaced free of charge. Took the roll-up door with original receipt and was then told they wouldn't replace the door, it had no warranty. AVOID DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH DIAMOND OUTDOOR !

I've been an installer for 10 years+. Most of my career has been spent here. My career also started here. Good family oriented staff. I don't rate 5 cause we all always have room to grow, learn, and improve. THIS IS DIAMOND, IF YOU NEED IT COVERED. WE GOT YOU COVERED.
