The majority of reviews reflect a highly positive sentiment towards D & I Roofing Corp, particularly praising the professionalism, responsiveness, and detailed communication provided by Danny and his team. Customers consistently highlight how quickly Danny responds to inquiries and how thorough he is in assessing and addressing roofing issues. Many reviewers appreciate his knowledgeable approach and the quality of his workmanship, especially on historical roofs. However, one review indicates a significant concern regarding delays in scheduling and communication, which is a critical aspect that the company may need to address to maintain its positive reputation.
- Danny and his team redefined professionalism.
- He showed up the next day after a call and the following day we had his team on our roof fixing the leak.
- His experience, knowledge, and top-notch work are the best I've ever experienced.
- Danny is very knowledgeable of various roof structures, always professional and respectful to his customers' needs.
- He treated our roof as if it was his roof, or a family member's roof.
- After about 3 months I contacted them but they still would not schedule a time.
- Now it's been 7 months from the last communication date.

I can’t express how grateful I am for Danny and his crew.
A storm caused a roof leak in my ancient slate roof and I needed to gather estimates for repair. The first two companies I called (both large local corporations) were slow to respond, gave high bids, and basically told me I wouldn’t be successful in getting insurance to cover anything. A neighbor recommended I call D & I for an estimate because we always see his trucks working on the historic homes in our area.
Danny came out the same day I called and gave me a realistic idea of what the damage was, how we could approach the repairs, and what he thought we could get covered by insurance. Then he kept his word.
He worked with me to put together a bid, argued with the architectural review board to get my project approved, and kept me up to date on everything along the way. Even the bad news (such as finding an entire dormer rotted out and needing replaced).
I ended up getting almost my whole claim covered by insurance, and was able to complete the other parts without going broke. His team is respectful, they clean up after themselves, they’re on time every day and they work hard.
The work is great, the service is great!
My only complaint is that Danny calls me ma’am and that makes me feel old.

Danny and his team redefined professionalism. From beginning to completion, it was clear that everyone involved wanted to do the very best job possible. We would highly recommend D&I.
The Phillips

Danny and his team are amazing. Had a big leak in our roof related to window installations. He showed up the next day after a call and the following day we had his team on our roof fixing the leak. Plus, he went out of his way to document the source, take pictures, and identify the cause of the damage. His workmanship is also amazing and he knows slate roofs. He's honest about what really needs to be done and when. He is not one of those that tries to sell you on a product you don't need. Thanks Danny. You are the best!

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
