Adam Wood with Northern Neck Home inspections did a great job at our home and outbuildings, he allowed me to follow him and he explained in detail all the items he was concerned with. He used a small drone multiple times to quickly identify items that could be easily missed. His final report was detailed yet easy to read. The report included diagrams on the correct way a system should be installed so it was easy to see why he wrote things up if they were not correct.

To say the least I agree with all the prior comments, Adam is amazing! I contact Adam for a home inspection for a farmhouse over 100 yrs old I am closing on. We‘ve purchased several houses over the years, but Adam Wood’s inspection was beyond what we expected. We know the house we are purchasing and felt it was basically sound, but since no house is perfect it was reassuring to have him discuss and record in the report items that can be addressed in short order by an electrician and a carpenter/handyman.

It was important to us to have someone knowledgeable look at mold remediation done in the crawl space earlier in the year. He used a robot to survey the area before entering to take photographs that appear in the report. He also used a drone and ladders for areas with limited or no access. We appreciate the neutral tone he used throughout the report to describe the issues that need attention or suggested monitoring.

At the last minute our seller needed to close a week earlier than expected. We all had to scramble a bit, but Adam Wood completed the inspection to accommodate the change in plans in a very professional, personable manner. We recommend Northern Neck Home Inspections without hesitation.
