had my kitchen retiled about 2 year ago, seven months after the job was completed, problems began to surface. The tiles started popping and the grout began to loosen. When I brought this to the contractor’s attention, instead of taking responsibility, they questioned whether my dogs were urinating on the floor or if my dishwasher was leaking. Eventually, they blamed it on the house settling — despite the fact that my home is 35 years old and the original tiles lasted over 30 years without issue.

They also installed saddles at the doorways, but cut them too small and had to redo the work. Their explanation was that the saddles would "fit better" as the house expanded, which made no sense.

In addition, they replaced a leaking window in my bedroom and claimed the leak was fixed from the outside. However, the window continued to leak. The installation was poorly done — I had to seal it myself from the inside using silicone because the job was butchered in the inside they were big gaps.
They also installed a closet door that was visibly crooked. As for the tiles, they came back several times to lift and reset a few of them, but the problem kept repeating. Eventually, they claimed to have "found the issue" — supposedly a problem with a beam in the basement. They said they fixed it, but the tiles are still popping to this day! After that, I never saw or heard from them, and they never followed up again.

At this point, it's clear to me that their explanations were just excuses and the workmanship was subpar from the beginning.

We recently had our roof redone and could not be happier with the outcome and with the entire experience. They worked from dawn until dark to get the job done quickly! Each day after they left- the yard was immaculate. One day we couldn’t decide if the landscaping crew came or they just cleaned up so meticulously! Turns out it was the crew- the yard looked amazing as they were cleaning as they worked on the roof! Bonus! Tino gave us the suggestions for roof color and we are thrilled with how it came out! We have recommended them to our entire neighborhood! They went above and beyond to be sure the inside and outside of our house were immaculate after the job! Thank you, Di Paterio contracting!

I really needed my siding done but was afraid of the cost and working with a contractor after I had something else in my house done. In the past, I've felt not listened too and not taken seriously when I had comments. However, Tino was extremely easy to work with! He communicated very well in a kind way, and listened to all my concerns. Not once did I feel uncomfortable trying to get my needs met. He put me at ease and the project was done in a week and a half! I thought it would end up taking close to a month. His team was friendly and EXTREMELY hard working. My house now looks beautiful and I won't have wildlife trying to nest in my siding anymore! As far as the price, it was the fair price I was hoping for. We had an awful experience with this company. They would relentlessly knock on our door everyday at 7am, including a Saturday, to tell us to move our car out of our driveway because they needed that spot and then they proceeded to take up all the visitors spots in our neighborhood as well. They smashed and broke one of our homemade ceramic lawn ornaments. Our house was covered in so much dirt and debris from them replacing our skylight. Ive been cleaning up garbage and nails that they left over and didn’t bother to clean up, including a nail I found right next to my car tire in my driveway and several all over our deck and backyard where we let our dogs out. They did a sloppy job and had no respect for our home whatsoever.

We recently had our soffits and fascia replaced and new gutters, downspouts and gutter guards installed and Tino’s crew did an excellent job! He responded to me immediately when I requested an estimate and showed up to look at the job exactly when he said he would. His crew worked non stop and finished the job in one day. Di Paterio Contracting replaced our 35 year old cedar siding with vinyl, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. They also replaced the gutters for a very reasonable price.

Tino and his team were pleasant and patient throughout the process, and ensured us they would make everything perfect. Other contractors were quicker to respond initially, but then ghosted us when we started asking more questions about specific details. Things took a little longer than Tino said sometimes, but he was committed to seeing everything through to our satisfaction. Once the crew started, they worked 6 days a week until it was finished.

Tino went out of his way to procure a brand of siding they don’t usually install, so that we could get a specific color of blue. He was very accommodating with additional requests along the way, including installing additional exterior lights and fixing some pre-existing wiring problems that in hindsight were a serious fire/safety hazard.

We would recommend Di Paterio to anyone in the area, and we will likely use them again in the future when we need new windows.

Di Paterio Contracting did a great job on my roof. They were fairly priced, they showed up when they said would , they were professional and neat. A roof is a very messy job but they protected my property and cleaned up everything. Tino , the owner, was polite and knowledgeable. I would really highly recommend them if you need a roof. I don’t post many (if any) reviews but when someone has done so right by you it’s necessary to pay it forward. DiPaterio was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Tino came quickly to give an estimate, researched exactly what I wanted (which was a little different than normal), and finished the job even faster than I expected. My house was completely transformed right before my eyes. All of my questions were answered throughout the process. In fact, I noticed that there weren’t any leaf covers on the gutters the day they were installed, called Tino the next day and his response was to look. They were installed that morning before I even called!!! His carpenter Leo is so talented that the interior molding he removed to install the windows looks better than it did in the first place after being reinstalled. They did a new roof, siding, gutters, windows, and shed for me. I’m an electrician by trade in the construction industry and I can faithfully say that the craftsmanship was excellent and the process was easy! All this and it comes with a 30 year guarantee!!! Tino and his team changed a house that I once was ashamed of into a house that I’m excited to show off to friends and family. I can’t wait to get DiPaterio back to start improving the interior of my house!!!

As a former contractor myself, I have never seen such a nice energetic roofing crew. They all showed up like clockwork, each helping the other and to me without uttering any words.

First Tino, the owner, came and gave a bid, not the cheapest but certain not the highest I received. But his enthusiasm sparked an interest to try them. He kept me informed of the dates of the roofing job, and on the start date his crew came in at around 8 am.

They unloaded from the van and trucks their equipment and within seconds it appeared the group was on the roof setting up ground protection from the materials they would be taking off the roof. After they stripped the entire roof (it took them 1.5 hours to remove 2 layers on a 4,000 square foot roof), the new material truck arrived.

But the guys on the roof never stopped, they spotted the plywood that needed replacing, sent me photos, and replaced the worn parts. Meanwhile the truck had unloaded the new shingles and they started loading their lift to get items to the roof. Up the materials went, and as it reached the roof line a guy would appear and materials moved on the roof deck. This happened without conversation or misstep.

It was obvious these guys had worked as a crew for years. (I later found out this crew had 3 years together, and some crews even longer. DiPietro employs 40 roofers and runs 5 sites all day long). As the dumpster filled (they own their own dumpsters and trucks), another one appeared and the full one was removed. The roof kept being installed. They guys had their breaks, and I found out the company bought them coffee, drinks and lunch and delivered it to the Project at the appropriate time.

When they looked like they were going to stop, they only took a break and finished the entire roof in one day. 4,000 square foot of roofing- a ton and a half of materials on, and three tons off. It was a long day.

They cleaned up, and ran magnets to collect any spare nails that may have stretched beyond their tarps. The next day, a young gentleman came back and used another magnet to catch any leftover nails, if any. This level of professionalism was impressive and welcome.

Not only do I recommend them, I have already spoken to several friends about what a pleasant experience it was to have a new roof installed.

They are coming back later to change the gutters and drain leaders, and some repairs on the fascia. Curious how efficient they will be on that part, but certain it will have the same level of professionalism as the roof.

Tino and his crew handled a major home exterior renovation project that I'd been planning and dreaming about for five years. The project involved building out an overhang all around the house to give it more shape and personality; adding a portico to break up a boring roofline; framing an exposed chimney liner; replacing the roof, siding, gutters, and windows to make it more energy efficient and give it a fresh look; and installing trim as a finishing touch.
All through the process, Tino provided great advice, had a positive attitude, and was very responsive to my questions and requests. He guided me in product selection, connected me to other professionals, and even occasionally jumped up on the roof to inspect things or help out. I never had to worry that something wouldn’t get done because I knew he was on top of things. Literally.
Leo was also great to work with. He cared about the house as much as I did and made sure the result matched my vision and expectations. And even though I only brought him donuts once, he always showed up with a smile and kept a positive attitude throughout.
