Andres & Chris were so helpful and fast with their communication when we were trying to quickly hire someone to refinish our hardwood floors just before the holidays. From the first point of contact they were professional and friendly and made us feel confident they were the right folks for the job. Their workers were on time, friendly, professional, and careful with our personal belongings. A&C explained the resurfacing process thoroughly and worked closely with us to understand our needs; they even got us on their books within days of reaching out. A few of our rooms had uneven wear, stains, or deep gouges in the floors that we weren't hopeful would come out, but they smoothed out every surface perfectly. We have radiators that are hard to get under and around for painting and other projects, but they had zero issues making those parts of our floors look just as beautiful as the rest. We contracted A&C Brothers to build a large deck on our new house. Andres was excellent at helping to design, build and supervise the job. He was always available to discuss details and answer all our questions. The A&C crew were very professional, polite and did a superb job. Our entire experience working with Andres and the A&C Brothers was easy because of their expertise, excellent work integrity and professionalism.

They were supposed to replace our outlet which we paid for and they put them in all wrong. We had to hire an electrician at 200$ to repair them. They also claimed to give us an outlet in the bathroom which could never work. The more we look around the paint job was not done well. We are very disappointed because we though we found a company that was good and reliable.

I had a deck and sliding door put on by these guys. Despite the quirkiness of my older house, they were able to install both perfectly! their quality work has totally transformed my space, and they made extra sure that I was happy with all details of the work.

Andres and his team did an outstanding job of updating our bathroom. The quality of the painting and new vanity install was excellent. The entire team was professional with great communication. We will use this team for any future repairs or remodels.

We contracted with A & C Brothers Inc to build a deck. We are totally satisfied with the finished product. Andres was very thorough in explaining the process, acknowledging all my requesting and working with me to identify alternatives to stay within my budget. It's hard to find contractors that do the work well, are on time, and are responsive. I had a deck build that was botched up by another contractor for over 2 months and they came and tore out the incorrectly built deck and rebuilt it from the ground up in less than a week. Their work was professional and no corners were cut. Solid team and easy to talk to and work with. Highly recommend.

Andres and his teams at A&C Contracting were excellent to work with and did a fantastic job! They removed carpet, installed vinyl flooring and painted an apartment in our multifamily house. They did high quality work within the committed timeframe, on the committed dates we agreed upon before beginning the work. We had a very tight timeframe and they delivered! They were professional, detailed oriented, knowledgeable about flooring and all aspects of contracting. Andres set clear expectations about the what can be expected from the work we were agreeing too. I asked for other odds jobs/handyman work ie fixing a broken door etc and he assigned the right people, to the right task. For example, he didn't commit the flooring team to fix the door. He had a door guy that was capable fix the door. Setting appropriate expectations and having the right person do the job they are qualified for, is why you hire a contractor and Andres delivers. If something I asked for couldn't be done well within my strict timeframe, he explained and didn't overcommit. Overall, Andres and his entire team genuinely cared about the quality of work they were doing and having a satisfied customer. Everyone working on the job had their heart invested. I will definitely hire them again.

A&C Brothers are consummate professionals. Looking to replace my wood deck with composite during the summer, I was provided with a timely written quote and countersigned statement of work contract. Courteous work crew is physically and intellectually nimble and has a great work ethic! Everything was done and area cleaned up accordingly.

After installing French drains and a central air heat pump system in the Fall, I turned to A&C Brothers for wall restoration services. Andres did not disappoint with another well-orchestrated team. Gypsum boards, insulation, taping and painting for 3 rooms was completed and furniture/furnishings moved back into place in 1 week. I highly recommend this company and will keep them on speed dial!

I was recommended A&C Brothers Contracting on a whim. As a brand new first time homeowner with disabilities, I needed professional help with what my home needed. Andres keeps to his schedules, there is amazing transparency and prompt addressing of issues. We thought the deck in my house only needed one thing, but as work progressed, safety issues were detected. Andres took his time and not only spoke to me and thoroughly lay out options, but worked with me on the additional cost. The refacing and staining of my kitchen cabinets came out smooth and breathed new life into the wood. My large deck is now totally safe for my 2 year old to enjoy, thanks to A&C Brothers Contracting. The bedroom floors are now smooth and walkable, not to mention GORGEOUS with the new coffee color that we were given as an option. Worth every penny, all the workers are professional and knowledgeable, not to mention efficient, punctual and respectful. I am writing soo much because I had a horrific experience with a contractor in regards to my Mother's home and I was left in a shell of a house with no flooring, kitchen and bathroom ripped out, and money gone. I reached out to A&C Brothers for an estimate and they responded immediately and sent someone over. Within a week they had started work and completed everything extremely fast with no compromise to quality or attention to detail. I live in Staten Island and was referred to a&c contractors. From the very beginning they were there for me 100 percent. From our first meeting on getting an estimate, the owner drove down an hour on a Saturday night to see the job and give an estimate. The estimate was fair and he explained everything to me that needed to be done in great detail. Within a week his workers started the job. They came every day at 8am and worked till 6 pm, knowing that I needed the job done as soon as possible. The work that was done was exceptional. My basement had been gutted due to a flood. New drywall, new tile floor, painting, etc…..when the job was done is was perfect. They take pride in doing quality work!!!! The workers were very kind and professional. I highly, highly, recommend a@c contractors.

a & c brothers just finished a remodel of our downstairs bathroom and we really couldn’t be happier. From the moment we engaged with them they were easy to work with, responsive and transparent. Having had a fair amount of work done on our house in the last year where I had to chase contractors around and follow up on quality issues, it was such a delight to work with a & c and have the work done - no drama. They demo’ed our guest bathroom including a massive cast iron tub, and replaced it with an immaculately tiled walk in shower, new tile floor and dry wall. The quality of the tile and the dry wall installation were really well executed - meticulous and thorough. The team was also not shy of making thoughtful suggestions to make the space really come together. Also, I was so impressed how the crew would sweep up and wipe down dusty surfaces to keep from tracking through the house - they were really conscientious.
We look forward to hiring this team again next year for additional work!

We worked with Andres on several projects. He and his team sanded our floors, and when that was complete they rebuilt and refinished a very large buffet in our home and as well as many smaller jobs. They included, furniture refinishing, electrical and plumbing, installing door hinges, adding shelves in closets, caulking and cement work etc. The work was consistently excellent, but more importantly his whole team was terrific to work with: friendly, great attitude, tidy and respectful of my home. He did all he said he would, in the timeframe he projected. In addition, he was straight forward about he could not do.

I am beyond thrilled with the work that A & C Brothers Contacting did at our house. We suffered a catastrophic leak that ruined the entire upstairs bathroom, dining room, and kitchen and had much of the house demo’d when we had them in. They replaced our tile floor, hardwood floors, drywall, casing, and baseboards, and also rebuilt the tile platform in the upstairs bath. They were able to start the job very shortly after we booked it, which was important to us, and did impeccable, detail oriented work, making sure that every little element of the job was right. They were communicative, took pride in their work, were respectful, and cleaned up extremely well afterwards, which is very hard to find! Everyone that we worked with was communicative and kind and came to work with a smile. If I ever need anything done in my house again I will definitely be calling them!

The project was scd for 2 weeks and all project was done in 2weeks.

Very pleased with the work that was done at our commercial building. They took care of everything with ease and were very easy to communicate with. The floors look beautiful, and they left no mess. After explaining to Andres that my previous plans of having my tile installed had fallen through, he and his crew worked throughout a holiday weekend and a snowstorm to make sure the project was completed in a timely manner and didn’t hold up any of our other scheduled home improvements. I was very happy with the work done by A&C Brothers. They sanded & refinish my dining room as well as the entry to my foyer.. they also changed the floor strip & trim in those areas. The work looked awesome!
The workers were very professional , and neat in terms of cleaning up. One of the workers even gave me a can of the left over paint/stain in case I wanted to use the color again or touch up in the years to come.
The person in charge, Andres is easy to work with ( setting up, questions and finalizing) and kind. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

Worked with Christian on a house renovation, included new entry tile/ mudroom and 5 bathrooms. He and his workers were all very considerate and hard working. He does an excellent job, has a fair price, and really worth considering for your next tile job.

A&C Brothers performed an outstanding job in my personal renovation project installing the wood floors, wall base and crown molding in our apartment. I’m an architectural designer for commercial and high-end residence in Manhattan and I deal with subcontractors of different types in my field of work day in and day out. I received multiple quotes from renewed companies I knew in my field, but we decided to go with A&C after carefully consider not just the numbers but their knowledge when they came for a walkthrough to assess the existing conditions, from the start I knew they meant business. I met both Andres and Christian before the whole process and I can attest that their professionalism and quality of work is on par if not better that any high-end contractor in NYC. They went above and beyond with the installation and the attention to detail is amazing. A & C, and particularly Andres Vele, were fantastic! After having our laminate floors damaged by a burst water pipe, and with us hosting an event two days later, Andres and his crew came in and worked through the night to replace the flooring.
