My entire building experience with DFC Home Improvement was wonderful. The communication was excellent and my project was done with quality. My enclosed breezeway looks like it is an original part of my house. Thanks to Brian and his team. I would also like to send a special shout out to Darrell who always courteous, customer-oriented and did everything to make sure I was satisfied with the project.

Had water damage to a basement ceiling that we were worried that may have caused structural damage. DFC Home Improvement came over and assessed it and assured us that it was still sound. They cleaned up the damaged areas and reenforced the joist as well as mold sealed it. Then reinstalled fresh drywall and painted the ceiling to match. Perfect end result. Highly recommend.

I have done several remodel projects with DFC. The entire team is a pleasure to work with from the initial consultation through project completion. Johny from DFC Home Improvement met my expectations while handling both the plumbing and mechanical work at my house. From the first visit to the final inspection, he demonstrated outstanding professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail. Johny arrived punctually, and communicated clearly about the work required. Throughout the project, he took great care in ensuring that everything was done right the first time, minimizing any disruptions and leaving my home spotless afterward!

My brother and I own our childhood home. We had been renting it for about 20 years and it was in need of repair. We also wanted to see if it was feasible to make some significant changes: close off interior access to the basement, and move laundry to the main floor, and add a half bath. After searching and evaluating various contractors, we selected DFC.

We launched a full gut rehab of the house. All systems... hvac, electrical, plumbing, adding insulation, new windows, etc. There was carpet and linoleum throughout and DFC removed all and refinished the original hardwood floors.

The 70 year old house was re-born.

The results were delivered by a company that delivers what it says it will do. They were easy to work with and were always fair and honest. We are using DFC on another project as a result and highly recommend them for projects big and small.

Our Dad was very proud of our home and took great care of it. I know he is looking down from heaven with a smile on his face.

DFC did an outstanding job on our project, which was a unique challenge as it involved a complete renovation of the entire house—built by my grandfather back in 1956. Since he constructed it himself, the structure and layout were quite unconventional. However, DFC skillfully figured things out and reworked the design to meet our needs.

When Brian visited our site, he was attentive to our requests and concerns, providing invaluable guidance throughout the process. Four years later, the house remains in excellent condition, with no major issues related to the craftsmanship. Despite our tight budget and the ambitious goal of renovating the entire house, DFC found a way to get it done—and they delivered.

Now, years later, we have no complaints or regrets. In fact, I look forward to having DFC handle future projects.

Wish I had photos/video to share but unfortunately I'm traveling at the moment and don't have the proper hard drive with me. That being said, we spent over $170k with DFC and don't regret it one bit. Very diligent, understanding, and moral, good people. I trust them 100%.

I had flooring installed in my attic, an attic stair and a ceiling fan installed in a vaulted ceiling. I am pleased with the results and would recommend DFC Home Improvement. You may find cheaper vendors, but DFC will call you back, respond to emails, show up and do excellent work. That's worth something.

Overall the quality of work turned out nice.

However, the experience with DFC Home Improvement was not exceptional. The administration process was messy to say the least. This ranged from permits being disapproved due to submitting incorrect blueprints to the county and long winded conversations with the owner Brian.

A word of advice is to screenshot and save all quotes DFC Home Improvements sends out, as I believe they are modified and update previous versions on their site.

Ultimately, we were happy with the quality of work. The project was completed in six weeks, when expected to finish in five. The total cost was $45,950 when the quote was for $38,750 about 18.5% over estimate. I have other projects that I wanted to complete in the future, but I think I will find another contractor for those.

We recently had some work done at our home to include LVP flooring, drywall repair, painting, and carpet installation. DFC did a great job with the repairs! They were very patient with us, as we waited for our home owner’s insurance to process our claim. We will definitely use them in the future for further projects.

Great team! I recently had my garage converted into an in-law suite, and I would highly recommend DFC for the work that they did. Not only did they create a great finished product, but they were very helpful in designing the space. They took care of all the city permits and inspections, which made the process simple from my perspective. They provided honest estimates and worked with my budget. Furthermore, they were quickly able to assist with several issues that arose during the project that were outside of their control and get things back on track.

Brian and his crew did an excellent job planning and executing our renovation project. Both rooms came out better than we hoped for. I was kept informed the entire project, and Brian’s recommendations resulted in a superior final product. I will definitely use them again for future work.

I needed some work done in my crawl space and on my deck. I found DFC on Angi’s. They were quick to respond to my call (within minutes) and setting up the initial appointment. They were able to work around my goofy work schedule. I’m pleased with the job they did, and I’ll definitely consider them for my future home improvement projects.

I hired this company through Thumbtack to repair a broken drive gate. I previously gave them a bad review because I was not satisfied with the work. It has been my experience working with contractors that once they are paid, if you didn’t notice any defects in the work before payment you can forget about having them come back out to fix it. However, I appreciate how they worked with me and had the technician come back after I paid in full to correct the errors. I will not give a 5 star because it took some back and forth to get to this point. But I think it shows integrity for them to keep trying until they got it right.

This has been one great experience! We did major renovations, and they were able to get the job done beyond expectations. This company is honest, timely, responsive, patient, and they did a superb job. No disappearances, no hidden fees, easily passed inspections. They provided digital renderings that were accurate down to the drawer pulls. They also brought a cleaning crew that did a marvelous job. 10 stars!!!

We had what we thought was a pipe burst, and while other companies said they couldn't send someone out for 3-4 days DFC had a technician out in a few hours. They were very communicative and good at explaining the issue, and easy to schedule a follow-up visit. Will be using them again in the future

Brian and the entire team at DFC have been wonderful to work with over the years. They have completed numerous projects for us and are always timely, responsive, professional, fair, and provide an unmatched level of craftsmanship.

We contracted with DFC Home Improvement for a renovation project on our 30 year old home. The project was completed over an 8 week time period and we enjoyed working with DFC on all aspects of the project. Their communication skills are excellent and while we were living a couple hundred miles away from home during the renovation we never felt out of touch. We were supplied with photos and pretty much daily updates. The project was completed on schedule and budget and the quality of the work was very good. We were especially impressed with the design work on the kitchen, the quality of the kitchen cabinet painting, the tile work in the bathroom and DFC's ability to overcome obstacles encountered once the walls were opened up. We are very happy that we found DFC and we would definitely contract with them again.

DFC was very professional and fair. Really listened to my vision and was able to bring it to realization. The renovation to completion time was very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

The tradesmen did a great job and I love the bar.

However, once I paid the money, it was hard to get hold of anybody including the owner (Brian). I needed to get one thing fixed, that is still not fixed as of this review. I was told every week that the tradesmen will come in. One night they they wanted to come in at 9:00PM. I told them "NO" because that's the time for family to go to bed.

Make sure everything is complete before you gave the money to this business, otherwise, they will not return.
