We’ve been in our Desert Wind home almost 7 years now and really have had next to no complaints. We did have an issue with a ceiling crack that the sub didn’t really do a great job on…twice and the effort it took to get it fixed was probably a little too much but overall we’re very happy with our home and would buy another if the opportunity presented itself.

Terrible customer service. Do not buy a house here until every house is fully constructed. I have had 2 of my cars tire burst in their homes at falcon ridge because of nails being on the roads in the community. There is apparently clause in the contract of buying a house there that hazards happen and you should be ready for that. Read in fine print before you spend 100s of dollars fixing your cars due to hazards in the area. The management and hoa which charges a lot for no security for their residents told me there is no action or solution that they can provide me because the contract states there are hazards. Terrible customer service no solution and hazards. Don’t buy a house with them

I purchased a townhome @FALCON RIDGE in 2021. I have thought about purchasing a new construction home in the past, but felt the process was quite intimidating. When the floorplan that I favored became available I jumped at the opportunity to purchase. The process was surprisingly straight forward, the sales agents were responsive and helpful at every turn. I had requested a couple of custom options and the Builder was accommodating of them. I have owned my Falcon Ridge townhome for over a year now and am extremely satisfied. Personally I feel there is ample parking for my needs. However I agree with other reviews that the guest parking policy leaves much to be desired. The HOA parking policy is not clear...and I have heard the HOA is working to clear up confusion and create a better parking policy. Highly recommend the Builder and this community.

We moved to Reno from Park City approx 2014. While we looked at a few other homes in SW Reno the renovation required was excessive. Desert Wind Homes built our home with great response to custom changes and responsive employees. Would I again contract with DWH for a new home? . Would I engage DWH for a custom home? Yes, to both. And thank you to sales, builders, contractors and service.

After purchasing a new home with desert winds. The experience was good and they even finished our home earlier than expected. After moving in I have found that I am very disappointed with the quality of work that was done inside the house. I’ve lived here a month and have had multiples things repaired because they weren’t done correctly the first time. For instance I had to have someone come out and fix a window sill because it was built crooked. After having it fixed 3 weeks ago no one has come back to paint it yet. I’m also disappointed with the lack of details in the paint. The paint in our whole house looks like the job was rushed. The paint lines aren’t neat and there is paint drips all over the house. Finally I am also disappointed with the lack of cleanliness when we moved in. The house looks like it wasn’t cleaned before we moved in. There is paint on most of the windows a few small stains in carpet that is brand new. Overall I am disappointed with the quality of work that was done on a brand new home.

Went to go look at a home in the community of falcon ridge with another individual. We both have high income and great credit but lady named Jessica didn’t bother come out to give us a tour of the house. Even though we had a set schedule appointment. I feel she discriminated us because of our ethnicity. She basically came out of her office and told us what demos where open and locked her self in office didn’t accompany us on our tour of the house. I’m very disappointed in there service any one who has money of race shouldn’t bother coming here.
