Emery and crew were great to work with after we discovered some leaks in our roof after a recent storm. Emery came out to the house promptly and spent a good amount of time investigating the locations of the leaks due to bird damage and age of the roof coating. His bid was very reasonable for the work needed and they were prompt and thorough in getting the repairs done. Overall, a great experience and would recommend them for your roofing needs.

Desert State Roofing signed up for a very challenging home roofing project. I needed them to cap a very complex parapet configuration with custom formed metal coping. It was an intricate and difficult job but they came through with flying colors. They listened to my concerns and completed the project to my full satisfaction. They did a complete replacement of the underlayment on our tile roof and a reseal of our flat patio roof. An inspector for a, new to me, townhome brought in a different roof company than the selected Desert State Roofing. DSR told me what felt was the truth, I did not need a full roof replacement. I needed work at about 1/3 the cost. I was happy to give them the contract. I'm glad they are not reviewing the job because it rained on the new roof (yes, in AZ!!) and they insisted the job would not be done until they could assess whether the rain weakened the elastomer finish. In addition, during that assessment a hose blew spilling elastomer over a corner of the carport. I agreed we should wait till it dried and with special tools and lots of patience, Justin peeled every bit of that elastomer off the concrete and out of the rocks at the edge of the spill area. He resprayed areas of the roof affected by the unexpected rain and my 5 year warranty is on its way to me. I highly recommend Emery (owner), Justin and Desert State Roofing. I have already recommended him to the complex on the other side of town that I left and to neighbors in my new neighborhood. Lengthy, but true! They willingly spent 4 visits doing a 2 visit job. They insisted on it. PS, they replaced all hoses like the one that blew.

Thanks Emery for coming out to inspect the interior of my house for possible roof leaks while the dry wall was down with only 1 days notice. I greatly appreciate how thorough you are and all the time you spent inspecting the attic and soffits after you wet tested the roof to ensure my house is leak free. Desert State Roofing made some roof repairs and recoated my foam roof. The company is top notch - timely and professional. Company employees do all of the work and they were polite and proactive in communicating.

Attention to detail: I chose a tan color and when the owner came for the final inspection of the work, found a small section where the color didn't match. They came back and recoated the section. Mind you no one can see the roof on a territorial style home and my days of climbing up that high have long passed.

I dread having to deal with roofing companies but Desert State is a pleasant exception to past experiences. Highly recommended.

We have been in the valley 52 years and have had 4 different homes. Have had roofers involved with 3. Desert State Roofing out performed all. We just had them replace the underlayment under our tile. They were prompt, professional, and the price was right. Never did we see any of the workers on their phones. They worked hard. Each day the made sure any debris was removed. We have used desert state roofing for little over couple years now always do a great job and great pricing. Very happy and would recommend to anyone who needs roofing repairs.

Quick to respond to assess the situation and set a repair person within a couple of days since they had to get some parts. Also did a quick after the install inspection. Price was reasonable, although the repair work was minor and they replaced about 8-10 broken tiles. At this time I would recommend them for responsiveness, clean work and follow-up.

I am a retired building contractor and chose Desert State Roofing to make some repairs to the roof on my own home. I have worked with many different roofers in my almost fifty years of residential construction, and some were very good, but I don't think any were better than Desert State Roofing. Emery and Justin make a great team. Emery came out and looked at my roof with me and actually suggested we do some spot repairs rather than redoing the entire roof. Desert State repaired my roof in a timely and cost effective manner! They were willing to do the job when other roofing contractors would refused to do a partial roof repair.

We needed a small but specialty roofing job to replace an old tile porch roof. Desert State replaced with standing seam metal and it exceeded our expectations. On time, communicative, and professional. Would use again for sure!

It started with the estimate. We walked the house and I was educated on my roof construction discussing costs based on what they could find when they removed the existing roof. Emery then walked the roof and gave me a specific price and timeframe. The construction crew was on-time, efficient and respectful of our privacy. The cement was still wet on our new paver driveway and they made sure they parked in the street and carried their roofing materials and tools to the house. They made sure that debris didn't fall in the house when they removed the skylights and came back a week after completion and inspected the roof and policed the area for nails etc. On-time and on budget. Amazing. The roof is beautiful! After several monsoon storms we remain dry and very happy. Trust is the best word to describe Desert State.

I had a few slate tiles shift out of alignment and needed to be reset. Emery was quick to respond to my inquiry and come out to evaluate the roof. The work was completed quickly and was unobtrusive and they cleaned up nicely. I didn’t even know they were there. I was provided various prices from initial inquiry to verbal after inspection to the final written quote which is the reason for the 4 stars. A more accurate price from the beginning would’ve been appreciated.

Our roof was leaking in the garage and most of the quotes that we got for a repair were either for whole or half roof repair. Emery came out , found the leak in the roof (documented with pictures) and quoted a partial roof replacement. Desert State was able to start the repair in 48 hours and it was completed in 2 days. Our roof is tile and the replacement involved several steps, but the guys got it done quickly and efficiently. They did not break any of the tiles, which was important because the tiles for our roof are no longer manufactured. They were professional, and cleaned up after the repair, without so much as a water bottle left behind. I recommend Desert State Roofing for quality and price. they did a great job.

Extremely positive experience with a modification to an existing metal roof. Emery assessed the issue and was confident in finding a solution. Justen did a fantastic job fabricating and installing the modification. I would recommend them without hesitation based on my experience.
