The workers are incredibly discourteous to the neighbors. Play music loudly (disturbing to those of us who work from home) and when asked to turn it down was rude and unprofessional. Would not hire this group to do any work with that attitude.

UPDATE
I just spoke with the owner of the company. He reached out pretty quickly to find out what was going on and to apologize. I am impressed with his desire to resolve an issue with his crew as they do their work. I am upgrading the stars to 3 as we will see how the rest of the job goes. However, it is impressive and encouraging to see a business owner care about the customer, crew, and neighbors/neighborhoods in which they work. That alone is worth taking a second look at the company and their work. I appreciated the conversation with the owner.

We recommend DesertShade Structures, but you have to initiate communication when you need it. Todd's team does excellent work, cleans up after themselves, and make sure it's done right. Todd was Honest, straightforward, no nickel and diming & professional. Outdoor Elements products are spectacular! Desert Shade is the AZ contractor for Outdoor Elements- out of San Diego. Beautiful and Durable for the AZ weather, and lasts decades! We LOVE our extended living space and it added a lot of value to our everyday living 365 days a year!

I had Desert Shade Structures build a huge 450 square foot pergola, just finished last week. I highly recommend this company! Todd, the owner, gave us the bid, and he made certain that we were getting all we were wanting in the structure. All prices were clearly spelled out, and there were no surprises. Ty was the foreman on the build, and he was very friendly and efficient. The crew was respectful and courteous as well, and were very good at cleaning up after themselves. The quality of the build and structure is first rate, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Kudos!

I highly recommend Desert Shade Structures, and I am completely satisfied with my new pergola. They were extremely patient while I sorted out approval with my HOA, and literally had it installed and completed the day after I received approval. The entire process was amazing, and they have an outstanding team! I cannot think of anything they could have done better, and it was a great experience! Thank you again!!!

Great company to deal with from the office staff to the "hands-on" owner. Very responsive via phone, and an immediate visit to quote my project. Once materials were in hand, construction of my ramada took less than 3 hours. Whole-heartedly recommend. They will not disappoint.
