DiPietro Roofing put a new roof on my house in November of 2024. They arrived promptly in the morning, got to work right away, and were done by 2:00 in the afternoon. Very organized, extremely efficient, and Ken the foreman was just wonderful. They cleaned everything up, the roof looks great and everyone in the neighborhood loves it. Me, most of all. This is a great company, from the owner to the office staff, to the entire crew, and I highly recommend their work.

DePietro came recommend to us by a few people and we are so happy we went with them to redo our roof. Our house was built in 1790 so we are always a little nervous when taking in a big project. They weren’t at all phased by the nuances of an old home and did an amazing job. The shingle style the recommended fits the age of our home perfectly. Alex was our foreman and he was professional, friendly, and answered all of our questions happily. They left our yard absolutely spotless, not a single scrap in site. Not to mention our new roof is beautiful and we love the finished product. I will be recommending them for years to come!

I highly recommend DePietro Roofing for the professional approach, and quality work. I asked for new roof and gutters change in March, and work was completed in March. Initially there was some miscommunication about the leaf protection, which was on the original gutters. I explained the issue and it was addressed within 48hrs. The leaf gutter guard was installed and I received a photo with confirmation.

Had them install a new roof on my home and shed, they did an amazing job all in one day. Cleaned up every bit of waste from the roofs and left the yard looking the way it was before the job was started. Great price as well and extremely professional.

My roof was done 5 years ago and the owner came to my house today and replaced 3 rusty nails on the roof. He is very reliable and answered any questions that I had. I don't know many places that have this kind of responsive customer service any more.

They did such an awsome job from start to finish that we didn't hesitate to call them back to do our next roof on another building. I have nothing but high praise for this company. In these times when it is difficult to find a contractor that you can trust this is the one you can. From the man (I’m sorry but I can’t remember his name) that came over to give me an estimate to the crew member that picked up the last bit of trash they showed the highest level of professionalism. Even when it was discovered that every piece of wood sheathing on the roof (60 sheets) had to be replaced due to moisture in the attic and rain was on the way the next day nothing rattled them. John the owner calmly just called in a second crew to ensure the job would be completed by days end. And it was. I couldn’t hardly believe it. John, the Forman on the job was fantastic. He answered all my questions and remained calm and professional throughout the entire process.
I don’t ever write reviews but I felt compelled to do this one.

I worked with Ken, he is like a grandpa who will educate you about roof and provide good suggestions. He is responsive. The quote was reasonable and the job was done professionally, they even fixed other things that were not part of the job. I will definitely hire them for future roof works.

We had a team of roofers from Depietro Roofing put a new roof on our house. They did an exceptional job. The roofers are highly skilled. They worked in a methodical, steady manner throughout the day, completing one part of the job after another with ease and efficiency. They were a composed group of workers that knew their jobs and smoothly worked through the roofing process. We were astounded how quickly the property was cleared of all debris at the end of the day and how immaculately our yard was left. The roof looks superb. We were delighted with their work. DePietro Roofing has done previous work for friends and neighbors so they were highly recommended to me before I hired them. I got a few quotes and their pricing was fair (Note: you get what you pay for so they're more than the "Chuck with a truck" guy).

The crew was fast, efficient and very clean with great communication from the foreman and John throughout the entire process.

The shingles showed up in the driveway a few days before the job. They crew showed up a few days later as scheduled and meticulously covered up windows and hardware with plywood and tarps before the start of the job. They pointed out several problems with the existing plywood (rot, wood not staggered, etc…) and ended up replacing all (44 sheets). I also had the shurflo gutter guards installed and they look great.

I was very happy with the entire process and highly recommend DePietro to others.

Depietro Roofing installed our roof, our gutter downspouts, and gutter guard. They did an Excellent job! John Depietro did check in at our job during the day to monitor the progress of the installation. John and his roofers were great. At the end of the installation, the roofers not only cleaned our entire area spotless, they also vacuumed our driveway and grass area to be sure that there was not any debris or nails left behind after the install. We are very very pleased with our new roof and the expert install.
Also, Peter Hoy, President of V.I.P. Seamless Gutters did an Excellent job of installing our gutter downspouts and Shur Flo gutter protection. We are very pleased and happy with our new gutters and gutter protection that Peter Hoy installed at our house.

To be clear: This review contains information about why I chose not to hire DePietro Roofing, Inc. I cannot speak to the actual quality of their work, just their process for quoting jobs.

Requested a quote on my roof, and indicated when I would be available to have someone come out and look at the job, as we contacted several companies for quotes regarding our roof. Per the website, it was stated that someone would be in touch in around 24 hours. In an earlier review I indicated they didn’t respond, they did, simply asked my address and indicated they’d be in touch. After that— absolutely nothing. I figured they were busy and decided to leave them out of consideration— this is not my issue.

A week after I contacted them, someone came to my home, unannounced and apparently walked my property, leaving me samples and a “detailed quote” for my job. I wasn’t home, I know they came because of cameras I have installed around my property. It takes all of two seconds to call someone and say “hey this is so and so from DePietro, I’m coming by to quote your job” but no such courtesy was given. Let this business owners response to me— and the other reviews which mention lack of professionalism, tell you all you need to know.

I found this to be completely unprofessional. How can you be aware of what I am looking for or what is required without having a conversation? Not to mention being on my property without my permission or knowledge.

When I thanked them for the quote but indicated I didn’t appreciate them being on my property without my knowledge or consent I was told that they were dealing with a covid outbreak the week before and that I should appreciate that they gave me such a detailed quote. I don’t care if they had the lowest price in town, I would never hire a company that lacks professionalism or ownership when they’re called out for shady practices. If they’re willing to inspect a property without a homeowners knowledge to give a “detailed quote” imagine what they’d do when you are aware that they’re on your property.

I am VERY fussy with an elaborate Cape Cod style garden all around my home. They arrived early one morning, began protecting my plants and in one day the job was done perfectly with no sign that they had been there. Not even a rogue nail. (I have a 15 year old Lab. Nails were a big concern). Use this company you will not be sorry

Amazing, amazing job done by John and his crew ! My roof looks fantastic and it was done in one day ! I thought my roof was in bad shape and would take a while to do, but they got here bright and early and had the roof done by the end of the day ! And my yard was left spotless ! John is very polite, professional and the same is said for his crew. Don't hire anyone else but John to do your roof and/or other roof problems you have. I would give him 100 stars if I could ! Another quality roof replacement from Depietro Roofing. This is our third roof replacement and it looks beautiful. The new roof went on our barn and the workers took extra steps to protect the farm animals. John's crew arrived at my house 15 minutes before they were scheduled to start working so all the materials were laid out, drop cloth installed...the entire roof replacement was done within a day. If you drove by at 4pm, you would never have known they were even there. the initial estimate provided was exactly what we paid...no surprises.

Asked for a quote on some repairs. Received an overpriced quote for the whole roof. My roof has a minimum of 10 to 15 years left on it and I am very disappointed that I never received the quote that I had requested. Update - owner called me to try and resolve. He asked me why I gave this review and I told him I wanted a quote for repair and never received. He proceeded to make up a story about my roof being too old (roof is still 15 years old and not end of life). Now I wake up to this response claiming something about the contractor who originally installed my roof? This has nothing to do with whoever installed my roof this has to do with this company trying to push a full roof replacement when a repair is all I need and requested. Don't want bad reviews then provide the customer with what they requested and definitely don't call them and try to harass them into removing their comment. Very unprofessional to say the least.

John gave me a fair price for my roof and did a great one day install. Months later, I noticed a small cut in a rubber roof over my porch that may (or may not) have been caused by his workers. In about an hour it was fixed for free! I was amazed. I refer him to my real estate clients. He has earned my trust.

They had my roof done in 1 day. The team they had set up by 7 AM was very impressive and the quality was great. The guys were also very easy to work and communicate with. Would highly recommend.

Flashing done incorrectly, have had multiple masons and a home inspector come out and tell me Dipietro’s way of flashing around a chimney is incorrect. He swears my chimney was faulty, crumbling and he recommended a mason (one he works with) when he came over, his mason stood in my front yard and told me I needed to rebuild my chimney. Other masons called all who said it needed some repair but certainly not rebuilt. Chimney fixed now, roof still leaking. Never work with this company. Spent a lot of money and have a leaky roof. Will have to spend even more money to get flashing done correctly.

During the Halloween wind storm - I woke up to a back yard full of shingles scattered about everywhere... large sections had been blown off my house and I was in a hurry to get a new roof installed before the heavy rains arrived - even worse, the snow! John came right out to my property - gave me a fair estimate and two weeks later my roof was replaced! His crew were respectful, clean, polite and worked expeditiously to get the job done in one day. When I arrived home that evening - it was like nobody had been there - spotless. They did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them for any roofing project.

Excellent service!! They were in and out same day. My yard and driveway were left spotless. They did my very old garage and shed combo which really should have been torn down and rebuilt so there was a lot of wood replacement that needed to be done. I am really happy with the outcome. It’s always difficult as a single woman to work with contractors without feeling ripped off but they were great!! Very respectful and honest.

Great craftsmanship and reasonable pricing. They came out to inspect our roof and had an estimate in the mail within a week. We dropped off the deposit and they were out at our house three to four days later. They did a great job!!!

Very dissatisfied with our service. They wouldn't give us a date they would come and kept putting us off. They got it done quickly but they left nails every where. Also they missing a part of the roof and when we tried to get ahold of them to get them to come finish they never got back to us. Would never recommend.

I was so pleased with the foreman and the crew. They performed on time and on budget. There was absolutely no mess from the project. I called three firms and they were the least expensive so I was nervous. I was not nervous after 30 minutes, the entire roof was off of the house. I had them give me a price for our church. I would recommend this company any day and any time.

John DePietro, and his foreman Don, and his team were very timely, worked diligently and had the roof efficiently installed in one day. Clean up was excellent. Highly recommend.

Fantastic service, fantastic workmanship! I could not have asked for better. My roof started leaking in February, so it was clear I needed a new roof. Depietro took the contract and exceeded all of my expectations. The quality of their work is exceptional, but besides that, they are honest business people who enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done. And their price was quite reasonable considering they had to tear out the entire old roof to install a new one (and a new style). I would highly recommend them to anyone who has roofing needs! Again, fantastic!
