Going to give these guys a nice review. They all really seemed to care that we got what we needed, and more. To a point where it was almost humorous how much they were wanting to help. That is a great comfort though, to know that if I am ever really in need of something hard to find or have questions I know where I can go.

The prices are very competitive. It was much better than the original store that was there. True Value, which was a rip-off.

Everything is well organized and well stocked. Employees are very knowledgeable & helpful. My only complaint is cashier took my $5 coupon, but I did NOT get my $5 take off my purchase. She should have given it back to me for my next purchase . Everything is so expensive I could use that $5 dollars discount. So much for that. :(

Great experience! Walked in and someone showed me where everything was on my list and they were fully stocked. Prices were also 50% off. Will return.

Friendly, helpful staff. I needed keys made and they quickly took care of that while another staff member helped me find some items to do minor repairs. Reasonable prices.

Have been shopping here for over a year but no longer as I have been there to get supplies and needed tonuse the restroom and they let me with no problem but I go in with my kids today to get plumbing supplies and one of my boys needs to use the restroom and they won't let him and he is a kid. Well I will not be getting supplies here anymore nor will I recommend it. Piss poor values.

Do not buy from them. I got a pellet stove form them ladted 4 days and they would not help. You can't even return it, even though they never said that when we bought it. The receipt says 30 days to return. They say buy local yeah right. Never Again. Betty Cuhen

Excellent assortment of stock AND their greatest value is that they have employees ready, willing, and able to help me find what I need.

1- they open early
2- they had everything I needed
3- helpful friendly staff
Their prices are slightly higher than the big box store but big box doesn't have everything I needed to get the job done. Grateful to find it all in one place.
For a small town store, they have just about anything you need.

Went in the store today looking for a 20watt halogen bulb for our Christmas tree. Found what we needed. A 3 pack priced at $5.99. There were 3 pkgs on the hook. Went to the register and they rang up $14 plus. Whenever we showed the employees where we found them, they said they were priced wrong. I asked if they were going to honor the price the nasty young man behind the counter said no. Was told the Mgr was at lunch so they couldn't help us. I told them they should honor the price since it was their mistake. He said this isn't Wal-Mart. That ticked me off! I told him I knew they weren't Walmart but they should honor the price because it was still false advertising. This is not the first time they have been rude at this store, but will be the last time I go in there. I'm 71 years old and don't appreciate being disrespectful people. Especially from ignorant people.

Travelling through from Canada. Walked in asked for help, finding a large water jug. The two gentlemen at the desk barely looked up from their phones and told me where I might find one but they weren't sure. I left the store. I'm so impressed by the customer service! Where I come from people don't sit on their phones while on the job. Customer service at its finest

They may not carry everything you need, but they have a lot. Also the associates are super friendly and will help if you need it. I've been there several times to buy supplies needed for my father's house. They were always helpful in finding what we needed and making copies of keys.

Avoid this hardware store at all costs, especially do not use their paint dept because the guy they have running it knows nothing about paint and surely can't match a paint color. And the Manager of this store is rude and very unaccommodating. Every time I go in there I leave unhappy, I will not return to them.

True values pretty good not too bad they got pretty good stuff there I mean I always go there to get my stuff for my air conditioner the only thing that I like is I have to go there three or four times just to get my key remade cuz it wasn't made the first the second or third or even the four-time wasn't done right so I just decided to throw the key away since it's been tried to get fixed that many times so I just gave up on trying to make an extra key so I don't know where to get an extra key at cuz I don't want to go there again and then the key not be made right and then I'd have to do it over again like I did the first time which is not good but other than that everything else is good that's why I like going there and that's the only reason why they got the three stars cuz of the key incident

The lady at the counter wasnt friendly today but I have a strong dislike for smalltalk so that actually is a good thing the more I think about it. I just want to pay and leave. They have swamp cooler parts in stock. The guys that work stocking the shelves are typically pretty helpful finding stuff. I went in once looking for a very random item (license plate screws made of plastic) and they not only had exactly what I needed, but the guy knew exactly where it was, and the screws work better than what my car came with from the dealership. 5 stars, I dont have any real complaints except for sometimes their sales floor can get a little cluttered and I wish they opened earlier.

This place is great. As soon as I walk in the door they always ask me if I need help finding anything. I highly recommend.

If you're going to lock up your merchandise (understandable with high theft items), you should have more than one employee in the entire store helping customers (not understandable). I asked for help to purchase a $35 padlock (ironically they're all locked up). Waited over 30 minutes and still no help. What should have been a 5 minute sale turned out to be the store's loss, I left and purchased elsewhere. I realize $35 is just a drop in the bucket for your store, but judging by the many other bad reviews here, it's a good thing you stock plenty of buckets. ;-)

They don't have many employees. Took us a while to find someone to help us. Could be that they were all busy.

went to look for light bulbs for my newly installed track lights. None came with the lights. asked floor clerk to help me with the selection. Bulbs were 60W, Type A. couldn't find them asked another floor clerk for help. Selected one, told if it didn't fit to bring them back (Got 4, at almost 15.00 a piece). took them home they didn't fit. Brought them back about 30 minutes later, told the I wanted to exchange them with the correct ones. Clerk at the register told me "No refunds or exchanges on bulbs" "Store policy". So I am out about 60.00, with bulbs I have no use for!!!! Should get your floor clerks informed on tore policies.
So you have lost a frequent customer who has shopped there for years. Tractor Trailer will get my business now.

Current manager at deming location, is extremely unprofessional and rude to customers. He yelled at me in front of all the other people in the store standing in line behind me because he was too lazy to look up the receipt on his computer because I didn’t remember receiving one. Then proceeded to say he could have thrown me out because I refused to lose my place in line because he didn’t want to look up the transaction on his computer. When I asked for his district managers name he refused to tell me, and stated that he was the manager…

I needed a nut and washer for a bolt. I walked in and an employee welcomed me. Then took me to find what I needed and I was out the door in 3 minutes and paid $.16

Crappiest customer service I've encountered in a very long time. The fellow who worked in paint tried to help me in electrical but said hed get someone else more knowlegable...new fellow was no help ....i asked for help in faucet repair he said "over there on the left" and stood talking to some guys getting keys made. When I complained about the lack of customer service he started making excuses about not enough help. The cashier was snickering and smirking and continued to do so when I told her it wasnt funny. Im a 75 yr old woman who was looking for help ....none was to be had in this store today. Crappiest service ever!

I needed several keys made and this store is near my home. Well satisfied with the attention given to my problem.

What lousy customer service at Sun Valley Hardware. They take no responsibility for their mistakes. Don't use the paint department. They don't have a clue what they are doing. The guy mismatched the paint and told my wife it would dry darker even though he dried the sample with a hair dryer. It took 30 mins. for the clerk to mix a quart of paint. She got home and the color match wasn't even close. She returned the paint immediately since they messed it up and they would not remix or give her a refund. I called the manager and he said he will do nothing for us and hung up on me. We went to Foxworth Lumber and they matched it no problem!
