Jeremy Hitt is my go to guy when it comes to handling any foundation or water issue. Now he is with Deep South Construction and I’ve always heard great things about this company, so I’m with them as well.

We had a culvert installed in our backyard and dirt brought in to level out our backyard. Deep South Construction did an amazing job, they are punctual, knowledgeable and such hard workers. Glad we chose them and will keep them in mind for future projects!

We had Deep South come out to bid on a crawl space encapsulation and draining. They provided a detailed estimate at a very fair price. They did the work exactly as described and ahead of schedule. Everyone we dealt with was professional, polite, and helpful. They left our yard clean, and a few months later, with heavy rains, my crawl space is dry. I would highly recommend Deep South, and will be calling them again the next time we have a big job to do.

Just used Deep South Contruction Pros for a full crawlspace encapsulation and a drain system to keep any water out that was seeping in thru the foundation. They did a super job from start to finish! I would recommend Deep South Construction again and again! The communication with everyone was great. Everyone is friendly and professional. Hunter came out for the initial estimate and spent several hours with us because our initial job was so big. We had water seepage issues into a walkout basement and the main floor was starting to settle and become unstable causing cracks along our door frames and seam separations in our wood floors. The job was scheduled within weeks and Walter, Austin and their crew came out and knocked it out ahead of the estimated completion timeline. And, we are already working with them to schedule two more jobs: to redo our roof and build landscaping walls.

We are currently trying to buy a home that needs major structural work. Before we even put an offer in on the house we wanted a professional to tell us what it would take to fix the issues. Without hesitation Grant & Walter showed up within a day of calling them and took the time to inspect, advise and provide us a very detailed quote to help us negotiate a fair price for the home knowing that there is a possibility that we may not purchase the home. Their knowledge and professionalism was very impressive and spent hours making sure all our questions were answered. Fantastic work, nice people. Grant went through the process to explain what my money would be going to, and gave me the only reasonable estimate vs AFS and other major businesses. Blake was a great coordinator, on top of everything so I didn't have to worry about anything getting done and very helpful with my assuredly numerous questions. I wish I remembered the names of the gentlemen who came out, they worked pretty much nonstop and were very communicative about where they were in the process and what they were doing overall. Also filled in a bit of patio that always annoyed me when done with the actual foundation work. 5 out of 5, recommended to several people already and will continue to do so.

We needed work done in our crawl space for sagging floors. Deep South sent out a crew headed up by Noel Sanchez. They were prompt, courteous and professional and he made sure we were satisfied with the work before leaving. Also, Deep South sent a roofing crew (Xande, Connor & Fernando) to fix the leak that caused the crawl space problem. They also did a great job and were very professional. I would definitely recommend their service.

We could not be more pleased with the work completed by Deep South Construction. From the inspection to the clean up everyone was wonderful. Hunter walked us through each step and answered every single question (some more than once bless it) Noel Julio and Antonio were amazing on the install. They again answered any questions and helped us deal with another concern that popped up during the install.

Excellent company. Hunter came out and quoted the job. We had delays in construction with our General contractor and Deep South was responsive to our scheduling needs and changes.

The job itself was conducted by Austin, Roman and Logan. They installed Helicals, Force Braces, internal drain, vapor barrier and an external drain around our driveway and retaining wall.

It was a large job that they completed on time and with great work and craftsmanship. I was impressed with Austin and his responsiveness. He explained everything they were doing, answered my questions and was generally a really positive and great person to work with.

Could not speak higher of this crew and organization. I look forward to bringing them out for additional work in the future and would recommend them above any other contractor I've recently worked with.

Deep South did an amazing job installing helical piers and a drainage system for my house in Madison. Our 20 year old poured concrete porch was sinkig. I got quotes from 5 other companies. The Deep South quote was the only one I thought made sense and had a similar price.

Very good company with great people. They know what they are doing. We had a very tricky water issue where water was seeping in between our slab and brink. Water was destroying our glue down wood floors. Got several bids and DSCP was by far the most thorough solution and the price was actually less than other bids. Workmanship was very good. We had some nails showing in our deck which the crew missed but they gladly came back out to fix them. A+

This young man took the time, after a long day of working, and crawled under my car to see if he could tell what was going on and why it wouldn't start. He spent at least half an hour trying to help us out but to no avail. His efforts were very much appreciated. He thought it might be a defective starter. We had it towed to Florence and it WAS a bad starter. I tried to pay him for his time, but he would not accept any compensation. I have not yet had any work done for me by his company, but I assure you that I will definitely have him work for me in the future. We had four companies come out, inspect our crawlspace and give us an estimate. Based on my extensive conversations with each company and estimate comparisons we felt most comfortable with Grant at Deep South Construction. After having Deep South Construction encapsulate our crawlspace we had a Mold and Mildew Specialist based in Birmingham come and do a thorough inspection of our home to make sure we were doing the right things to have the healthiest living environment possible. The crawlspace section of the report included the following: "The current vapor closed system encapsulation was installed correctly and appears to be one of the best-looking finished products I have seen in a while." Very high praise form a mold specialist with 40 years of experience. We are pleased with our choice and would not hesitate to use Deep South Construction in the future.

They did a great job. Showed up on time for the original quote, answered all my questions and showed up on time to complete all the work and got everything done on time. They took care of all the areas where I had some floors sagging.

I had a great experience with Deep South Construction when they repaired an issue with sinking floor joists. The three technicians on site were great to work with. Hunter, Noel and Esturado. They did a great job and left the area clean and neat. I hope I never need them again but if I do have a foundation issue in the future, I will definitely contact them. From beginning to the end of my experience with numerous associates of Deep South Construction I have been sincerely blessed with the most patient, honest, and extremely capable experts for the work I had to have done. I had numerous companies other than Deep South. From the first visit and numerous discussions with him he guided me with compassion, honesty and advice I didn't expect. Blake in the office treated me the same way. I had to reschedule several times because of health and weather conditions. Never once did they not work patiently with me. I am so Thankful. The crew that came to do the work Hunter, Noel, Estuardo, and Julio attitude and ethics were impeccable. When they finished the work and I thought about to leave I opened my door to thank them. Hunter was soraying what i thought was water on the grass. I told him he did have to do that because I thought 1 time waterin wouldn't make any difference. I needed an estimate for foundation work on our 1960 Lake Cottage and they came exactly when they said and gave us a very good price for an estimate. And the estimate was spot on and didn’t change a cent when they did the work. They were very punctual and got the major job done very fast. Deep South Construction Pros. are lovely to work with! They are very thorough with their work and explanations and are happy to answer any questions you may have. They treated our home and yard with respect during the foundation and drainage work we had done. They communicated their progress throughout the whole process and even got the job done sooner than expected.

They came when they said they would and finished on time. They did a great job and left the area clean. I live in a 90 year old house and they ran into a couple of unforseen problems and took care of them graciously. They also took care when they hand dug a trench...they didn't trample my garden. Oh and the office personnel is top notch.

Fantastic company fixed my retaining wall for me. I was worried about hitting a drain pipe but they went above and beyond . Everybody form the Inspector who gives you the quote to the person on the phone(Blake) to the people who do the Job and everyone in between very nice and friendly. Also finished the job on time even when it was raining.

Hunter and his crew had to work in some sloppy, cold, and wet conditions and did it professionally, even cleaned up afterwards. You do not see that much anymore.
