I can’t say enough about DRR. Being a single mom of 2 , having a major knee injury, then a sewage line flood my basement isn’t conducive to keeping your sanity intact. Under the severe stress of such a calamity , it’s hard to find clarity on what to do. Especially, not having a support system to guide you. Toby Newcomb and his team have been such a blessing. Never did I feel pushed or sold on any direction. He came over and was forthright and honest giving me options as to what the process was and how things with my insurance would be taken care of through his team. Which, included itemizing everything ( which was extremely overwhelming for me!) clean up, etc. Even down to knowing that a hygienist was going to be important factor in it all ,because of the sewage.

Again, I can’t begin to tell everyone how much of an asset this company is to the area. As well as, a dynamic model of what businesses, nowadays, should look like. It seems as though the components of human kindness , transparency, and doing what you say got lost. Being accountable and not taking advantage just to get an extra dollar IS NOT this company’s trait.

They completely removed mold, installed new mold resistance sheet rock , crown molding and painted the bathroom. Left it looking like new. The project manager was timely and kept us informed during the entire process. Could not be more pleased with the completed project. Great job!

Deep Water Restoration was truly a blessing after a tree fell on my house. Toby Newcomb and his team stepped in and professionally handled all the details of restoring the house back to its original state--from inspections, reports, insurance company, drying, repairs, painting, replacing windows, ceilings, clean-up, etc. DWR's team was courteous, skilled, and timely. I was particularly impressed with Toby's regular text updates so I always knew what was going on. DWR really took a huge load off my shoulders. Deep River Restoration was prompt with accessing our situation and rectifying it. The guys were very neat in their process cleaning up all materials everyday and vacuuming any messes made. If it weren't for the plastic that sealed off the bathroom (which I greatly appreciate as it kept all particles from the bedroom), I would have no idea they were tearing out our shower and flooring. Toby was excellent with keeping us posted on the status and when things changed, he made contact before moving forward.

To our surprise when doing plumbing updates in our home, we found a major water issue. Within an hour of our call to Deep River Restoration, we had a call back from Toby. He came to our
home, observed the problem, outlined the process from mitigation to repair and worked with our homeowners insurance. Every encounter with Toby was professional, respectful, educational and timely.

Deep River's repair crew, Cecil and Tristan, explained each step of the repair. They were very professional and respectful of our home. The repairs are better than the original construction.

At all times, we were kept in the loop by Deep River regarding the status of our repairs and their communications with our insurance company.

My parents’ house needed some work done in preparation for sale in May 2025. Toby and his team replaced gutters and fascia boards, replaced the hot water heater and did electrical work. At a time when I needed help urgently the response from Deep River was incredible. They communicated everything every step of the way, were professional and dependable and set a deadline that they exceeded as they finished early. Everything is beautiful and better than before the damage I had.

When the house was flooded with sewage they were there first thing in the morning with house dryers. The work was done quickly and Toby was in contact with me almost daily to let me know the progress. Furniture was cleaned and removed to storage with care. All floors were removed.New insulation and AC ducts were installed. New floors and molding put in and some rooms repainted. I would not hesitate to use them again if needed.

When the unexpected happened, our insurance company recommended Deep River Restoration. Our museum holds some of the most priceless artifacts including thousands of native American artifacts spanning 11,000 years, 2,000 year old urns and Arbor Day paintings from local citizens. A fire extinguisher spontaneously exploded covering everything in a fine caustic powder. The Deep River Restoration team handled everything with white glove service, coordinated with the carpet and HVAC cleaners and did it in time for us to open for our big event. You never know when you may need their service but I can say that they will be our first call should we ever see the unexpected again. Big thank you to the whole Deep River Restoration team and their partners.

We had an unfortunate event that caused a powder irritant to be expelled into our Museum space. While not toxic, it was a respiratory irritant and needed to be removed by professionals. Our local insurance company recommended Deep River Restoration. I contacted the owner, Toby Newcomb, who was very responsive. He immediately came to assess the damage and worked with the claims adjustor in New York using their approved software to submit the estimate for his services. At every step Toby kept me informed about what he intended to do and the progress. He took detailed pictures before the cleaning so everything was put back where it belonged. He arranged for the HVAC system to be cleaned by certified providers and for the carpet to be cleaned. Toby took care of everything and within two weeks of the event the space was clean, all of the irritant removed from the area and the air, and we were back in business. Due to Toby working with the claims adjustor all along the way, there were no surprise costs and our only cost was the insurance deductible. I highly recommend Toby and his crew at Deep River Restoration. Hopefully we will not have a similar event occur in the future but, if so, I would not hesitate to call Toby.

Deep River just completed work at my leased apartment in Clarksville, VA. My water heater started leaking really bad and it leaked in the bathroom, bedroom and a small area in the living room. We had water to back up from our AC into out Laundry room. We had damage to the floors and walls. I called Toby, went to the house, told me exactly what needed to be done and approx. how much it would cost. I gave him the go ahead to fix it, they were there the next day with drying equipment.
