I knew Dave was the right guy the day I met him. Aside from his obvious knowledge, photographic history of past jobs and pleasant personality, his truck was spotless inside and out - including the inside pillar posts.
All was exemplified by the expertise of his crew, their hard work, politeness, overall attention to detail and immaculate clean up.
Dave and his son followed up with daily progress photos of their work and a genuine concern to ensure our leak issue was resolved.

I called four companies to give me a Re-roof bid. Dave Newell was the quickest to respond. They got on the roof a did a thorough inspection and later that day had the bid ready. It was more than we expected and Dave was able to rewrite the bid and shave off 2k. The roof looks great it was done completely in 3 days. Two roofing companies never got on the roof Joe's and Nicholson roofing. Joe's sent a real sleazy salesman offering many expensive add-ons their bid was 5k more than Dave Newell. All Four Season roofing was very expensive too and they wanted us to get the permit ourselves. That is a huge RED FLAG.

Dave Newell Roofing is THE one to call if you need a roofing contractor! When he says he will be at your house to give you a bid, he is there on time and we received the bid the next day. When he says his workers will be at your house to start work, they are there on time.
Our roofing repair also required some stucco work on a wall on the roof. The job had to be done in stages over several days. I was thrilled when Dave said he would do all the coordinating between his work and the stucco work. Dave’s workers found that some backing in the stucco wall was missing. Dave just had his workers install the backing as he had the material. He didn’t have to do that, it wasn’t his responsibility, but he did it so the job would continue to proceed without delay. That’s putting the customer first. The job was finished in a very timely manner. Dave, his son Steve, and his crew were great to work with. And they left the job as clean as could be. I recently needed to replace the existing roof on my house. I contacted Dave Newell Roofing and 2 other contractors. His wife Marcie scheduled Dave to come out within 2 days and he provided a proposal quickly. They are a local family run business which I prefer. They were able to schedule the job in a timely manner. The employees showed up on time each day and were courteous and respectable towards myself, neighbors and my property. They protected my plants and exterior the entire time, kept their music at an considerate volume. They cleaned up well after the job was done. A special 'Thank You' to roofers Jerry and Gilbert who did a great job according to the final Inspector! Dave was always available to answer my questions and was pleasant to work with. Dave not only returned our call but actually showed up when he said he would!!! His son went up on our roof and after thorough inspection decided the leak we had was not from the roof. They spent at least a half hour reviewing the issue with us and didn't charge us a thing. AMAZING!

Excellent experience, the work was completed in a timely manner, Dave came by everyday and explained what was going to happen that day and the work that would be done, and the work was completed on time and they did an excellent job the new roof looks great.

Too many nice things to say. I've never had a contractor complete the work ahead of schedule and on budget. The work bid was very reasonable. The crew was awesome. They were so nice. We were stopping to visit with the roofers when we went in or out. I was worried that we were taking up their time. This outfit is amazing.

While some contractors may/may not respond initially, few contractors exhibit the attention to detail that Dave and his team do. Throughout your interactions with them, you quickly gain a confidence that the job will be done correctly for the long term, rather than quickly and in a haphazard fashion.

Prompt and efficient when they arrived at the job site for the repair, Dave and his team left the area cleaner than when they arrived, and even called back today to see if everything was good after the first rain post repair.

Dave came to the rescue. While waiting for the material to be delivered, he weatherized my roof from the incoming. Storm. He kept in touch to let me know the status of the metal roofing I ordered. Very happy with the end result. Would use him again.
