Do not call DA&D Chimney Sweep and Repair for anything. We called to get our gas fireplace serviced. The call center scheduled us for a repair date that got rescheduled the day they were supposed to come. The service men came checked our fireplace and suggested we purchase the part on Amazon and install it ourselves. As a contractor myself it was very easy to do, but it did not solve the issue. I called back to get them to come back out because they charged us $125 for that diagnosis which did not correct the issue. The representative on the phone at the call center said the same repairman would be coming out on a Sunday to look at it. Sunday morning we received a call telling us they needed to reschedule for Monday between 1-3pm. Monday morning I get a call back from the call center stating the repairman said he couldn’t come because he doesn’t carry the part that he already told me to get and he couldn’t do anything. So I reminded them that he was the one that suggested we purchase the part and install it ourselves and that diagnosis wasn’t correct. I asked for them to have the serviceman to call me so we could get everything straightened out, but he didn’t call or show up on Monday between 1-3pm. Once again I called back to find out why he had called or showed they repeated the serviceman’s last statement of not carrying the parts. No one at the call center relays any information or cares that we stay home for the three days which they said they would come. Whenever you ask for a supervisor they say none is available. Don’t waste your time or money with them because they are just out to get the service fee of $125 to do absolutely nothing to help you with your issue. We are still waiting on a supervisor and the technician to call us back. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional experience!!
