WARNING- DO NOT HIRE! “David” robbed me. I paid up front for materials that he was using for another job. He also overcharged me for materials and pocketed the extra money. When I confronted him, he walked off the job. He’s a thief and I believe he used to pull this same scam in Georgia where he could no longer get work, so he was run out of town and started a new identify in Virginia. His real name is not David, it is James Byrum.

Does not show up on time and I have a deck missing the screws and a screen door for the patio that has a bug gap that I can't leave open now. Front door missing the screen holder and he owes money back that I'm sure I won't see because he won't answer back. Do not recommend AT ALL!!

David came to my house to see what I wanted done. He arrived on time and spent an adequate amount of time going over the job with me. He offered a few good suggestions that I agreed with. Afterwards, David developed his bid and went over it with me. I made a payment today and work is to begin when the material arrives from the vendor. So far, so good. I can post a subsequent review when the work is complete.
Update: David completed the screened in deck. It looks great. I will hire David again in the future.

David installed a TV mount and TV for me, also installed a light fixture where a rough in had been installed. David arrived when he said he would and completed the work to my complete satisfaction. David asked questions for understanding my expectation. David is courteous and professional and I have already scheduled additional work. I highly recommend D&D Handyman, I am happy to have found someone reliable.

David did a nice job replacing the wood planks on my deck and dock and staining both. He also performed some smaller tasks such as outdoor painting and repairs. His work is good and he’s very responsive.

We had a deck put on by David. He is a very hard worker, he worked fast getting the deck completed in only 3 days, all by himself. He is polite and trustworthy and delivers quality workmanship at a reasonable price.
