We were fortunate to find a contractor like D&D construction to replace the roof and cedar shingles on our 83 year old house.
Dean Demello and his team are gifted craftsmen and true professionals. From the moment we met Dean, we knew we were in good hands. Our house was a challenge with all of its angles and irregularities. Dean welcomed the challenge. He provided ongoing communication throughout the project. He offered sound and thoughtful advice as he guided us through the process. He and his team were focused, attentive, responsive and respectful. He and his team were a well oiled machine and every detail was met with care and laser focused precision.
From ordering top quality materials to the weaving of the cedar shingles on every corner of the house, Dean and his team took great care to get it right. They take pride in their work and the final results.

D&D Construction put a new roof on my house in 2023 and did a great job. I shopped around with a number of companies before deciding who to work with. Dean was great to work with and they were quick to start the job soon after the contract was executed. Very happy with the finished job and I will definitely consider D&D again in the future.

Dean is such a dream to work with. We found D&D online and gave Dean a call late one afternoon, and are so happy we did. He came to check out the house the next day and gave us a quote within an hour, which along with his honest and fair pricing convinced us he was the guy. We had a lot to do on a 2400 sq foot house - replace the cedar shingles, exterior painting, and demo and build a new deck. Thankfully, Dean and his crew work unbelievably hard. They started working in February and no matter how cold it was, those guys were here every day, even on weekends, working like crazy, I couldn't believe it! Dean treats your house like it's his own, wants it done right, wants you happy, and his communication is perfect, always keeping you in the loop. He's passionate about what he does and is eager to do the work, which is VERY rare and the best part about him. The quality of work is excellent and we've already gotten countless compliments on how beautiful our house looks. Our house is like new again and our deck is beautiful!! I am a Property Manager in Newport and have been using D&D Construction for the past 5 years.

I first began using them in 2008 when the property I currently manage began to have roof issues although the roof had just been replaced 2 years prior.

D&D Construction was awarded the bid to conduct repairs and did a fabulous job. Not only were their employees curtious and efficient, but they thouroughly explained what the issue was and the scope of work that needed to be done. We all know that repairing someone else's work is never an easy task. That being said, when small issues arose D&D Construction worked very diligently to address those issues. They were never late and always arrived ready and willing to get the job done.

I would highly recommend D&D Construction to anyone looking for the scope of work they cover.
