I found his approach to be thorough and forthright and I immediately felt like I could trust him. After starting the contract process he actually came back with a recommendation to switch to another provider offering better pricing. And then, in the midst of it all, I went back to Spencer later to change the design basis for my system to something I felt more appropriate for my situation. I had Neighborhood Solar (Beacon Solar) install a backup battery system to complement the solar panels I had installed last year. They did a fantastic job that took about 5 hours. This battery backup system can provide power during a power outages for most of my house. The backup system got tested a few days after the installation when a tree branch fell on power lines causing a transformer to catch fire. This caused a power failure in my neighborhood and I hardly noticed when the battery took over powering my house. This is a great system and l’m very happy with it.

We had a great experience with Neighborhood Solar! Spencer explained the concept behind the solar plan available to us and was able to answer all of our questions. We are very happy we made the decision to go solar. We ended up with Sun Run as our provider and so far, the online portal has been user friendly and easy to set up. The system is still new to us so we are looking forward to the long term savings and possibly credits. Highly recommend having the solar conversation to see if it’s the right move for you.

Wanted to share my experience with Spence from Neighborhood Solar. I had been considering a solar system for a few years and had received a few proposals but didn’t feel right about info I was receiving. When Spence put together his proposal it was much more transparent and straightforward than other companies. I found that information about pricing of solar systems and their financing products was not easy to find, not to mention the state and federal incentives. Spence had a good handle on all of it, and was able to present options, so we could structure the purchase to fit our situation.

One full year with the system and the production has exceeded the forecasted production in the proposal. The system has required no maintenance thus far. At this point, we are 100% satisfied with the decision. Thank you Spence.

I had been thinking about getting Solar but didn't think that it would be for me. I got a knock at my door and a young kid named Spencer Gradley asked to talk to me about Solar. At first, I wasn't interested but as he spoke, he got my attention and he come into the house. He explained everything in detail, and it made sense. My wife and I thought about it and decided to do it. It has been 1 year since that day and everything that Spencer said would happen happened. I have not paid one cent for electricity sense our solar system went active. I currently have a large credit with RI Energy. I took advantage with the RI and federal solar credits that made it affordable. Again, I can't say enough good things about Spencer and the companies that were associated with my Solar project.

Working with Spencer was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the industry, the various solar options available (leasing vs buying) and the benefits of each. Spencer took the time to ensure every question and concern we had was addressed to our full satisfaction. One of the best and easiest experiences we’ve had as homeowners. Spencer knows his product and has a deep understanding of solar. He was available for questions whether night or day and always followed up. After install he checked in with us to see how things were going and wanted to be sure we were happy with our investment. If you’re considering going Solar, talk to Spencer! Since installing and going live July 2022, we had a lower than usual bill in August, no bills until a $21 January bill and no bill since and it’s now April. Banking energy every day even on a cloudy day!

We were skeptical of solar because we had 2 prior quotes that just made no sense financially. Spencer was able to structure the deal to make sense financially and also aesthetically. We did not want to see pipes on the roof or outside of the house and he was able to have the installers do exactly what we requested. the all black panels are sleek and look nice on the garage roof. We have not had an electric bill since the install and we are also building credits for those summer months when the A/C will be running. It has been a great experience working with Spencer and his team.

We are totally satisfied with the installation. Working with Spencer has been very smooth. He is very prompt in his reply to inquiries. Our electric bills are usually zero except when there is a month that hasn't had alot of sun. Even then, the bill is very minimal.
