The whole job was explained and done as said. The company would call on a daily basis to inform me of work to be done and arrival time. The workers were very friendly and did a great job.

Everyone has been courteous and the communication has been great. We just had our roof replaced and are now going to get some stucco work done.

The best place to get your roof done.From first phone call to getting your roof replaced, all the staff is extremely professional and polite. I am so happy with their timely work ethics. I would highly recommend them to everyone in south bay

Cut Once Remodeling completed our roof and exterior coating quickly with great communication and follow up. They provided a thorough estimate with a walk-around the property, taking photos, and price breakdowns along with finance options. Cut Once Remodeling maintained a clean work area and explained each step for permitting and touch ups as needed. I would recommend using Cut Once again. They were very patient with our color options and provided samples on the exterior walls to assist our decision.

All the workers did the best job they could do dealing with the condition our house was in!
The house looks the best it has looked since we moved in 38 years ago. We got calls every day letting us know what time the workmen would arrive!
The clean up was not as good as it should of been, the workers were in a hurry having finished after 5:30 & wanting to get home. There seemed to be a lot of confusion of who was suppose to show up, ( the Managers), & what time they would arrive.
All in all we are very happy with the job that your company did.

I recently had some work done to my house in Hacienda Heights. I contracted C.O.R. to help me with my two house projects. They painted my house and replaced the roof. I’d like to share my experience working with C.O.R. To begin with, everyone I spoke to at C.O.R. were cordial and friendly. Communication was excellent! Every morning I would get a call from them advising me that the crew was on their way and what the game plan was would be for that day. They arrived at 8AM and leave around 4PM. The person in charge would come by at the end of the day so that together we would inspect the work that day. It was also the right time to ask any questions or bring up any concerns. C.O.R. took care of any concerns I had. Every day before they left, they would pick up their things and would make sure to leave outside my house near and clean. This was done on a daily basis.

I definitely had a very positive experience working with C.O.R. I was impressed, happy and satisfied with the work they did. I was also impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of all of them. I highly recommend C.O.R. if you are looking for good quality work and professional people!

We are very happy with the work done by COR. We asked them to come to give us an estimate on a project we had in mind. They noticed problems with our roof, documented the problems by video and convinced us to do a reroofing project. We were impressed by how well the representatives explained the process and the benefit of using a high quality material. The project was finished in two days. The crew was professional, efficient, worked hard and cleaned up afterwards. Both the sales representatives and the project manager were on site both days to inspect the work. The project manager was courteous, kept us informed of the work in progress and answered all our questions. We highly recommend COR for roofing projects.

If you want a hands off remodeling project with excellent results, COR is for you. They pay attention to details and the workmanship is outstanding. The stucco and paint job was on time and gorgeous. The staff was professional and skillful. I would recommend COR if your budget permits. They are not cheap. Taking one point off for the high pricing.

I was very pleased with the work done (new roof) on my home. It was done ahead of time but not rushed - very professional & even the clean up was very well done.

Overall we are happy with the process from start to finish. From the sales team to the installers - it was all smooth.

I had this company do some stucco work and new windows on my property. They had excellent communication from beginning to end.

They send a sales person door to door. Then a second person calls to confirm address. I asked specifically for a stucco specialist and they send nice person out that tries to get you to do more than what you’re requesting. Uses fear tactics and after I repeated over and over again I don’t have the money to do other stuff, still says they can do A, B, C etc. And even when I just requested an estimate for just 2 stucco patch areas, she STILL kept talking about stucco problems over the whole house AND the eves/roof! Then said Ok well I meed to check with my supervisor if we can do the patch work.” Like patch work isn’t worth their time! They said they also couldn’t warranty any patch work. So what the point of bothering people going door to door if you’re going to turn down work basically! Still waiting for them to at least give me an estimate! A waste of my time! Don’t bother with them.

I cannot in good conscience recommend them to anyone. Someone from C.O.R. visited our home and talked with us, providing a quote. We decided to go a different direction, but they will not stop calling me. When I insisted they remove me from their list and took note of their area code, they subsequently called from an "unknown" number. Nothing I can say will make them stop calling. This is an awful business model and is bordering on harassment.

We had C.O.R. do a roof shingle replacement and then a stucco repair and painting of our house. We can’t say enough at how George’s crew worked tirelessly, on time and were very professional in their work. The QI group checked in with us daily for any questions or concerns we had and answered all our questions. They visited our house daily to determine the progress and talk to the foreman. They did an excellent, meticulous job and our home looks new now thanks to their efforts. We will definitely use C.O.R. again for any other remodeling projects on our house or driveway in the future and will gladly tell our friends that they should call them up for their house remodel.

My house and garage look beautiful now, and I know every little detail was taken care of. The crew that did the 'cool wall' was very meticulous, they were careful to protect my things and cleaned up really well. I'm having my windows done soon. I feel like it's added a lot of value to my home, which was in poor shape when they started, and I think it will look good for many years.

Here are the before and after of my windows. We're so happy with all the work they've done, they're very careful and pay a lot of attention to details. Throughout the entire project; roof, outside walls and windows, a project manager checked in with me everyday and went over all the changes, answered questions and addressed concerns. I felt very confident throughout the whole project that everything was going to turn out well because the people I worked with were awesome. Thank you!

Cut Once Remodeling, CoolWall job, very satisfied, excellent job doing Coolwall, especially attention to details. Earthquake shutoff valve got tripped during prep, and Jorge reset it, but also walked around w me to make sure gas appliances all up and running. Still being surprised discovering little touches they didn't have to do.

Edit 2/22/25: Original review 1 star: COR uses aggressive sales tactics and has poor follow-up service. Initially, they pressured us to sign a contract by offering a discount only if we agreed that day. When we didn’t immediately agree, they came back with another discount if we allowed them to use our house photos for marketing, which we accepted.

While the painting itself was done reasonably well, issues arose afterward. The workers used our backyard mini-wall as a work surface and did not include painting its stucco in the original job, leaving it the old color. When I pointed this out, I was given an estimate of $1,200 to fix it but was never provided with a formal quote.

When we requested they return to prepare a contract for the remaining stucco paint job, instead of doing that, COR’s employees pressured us to replace our windows with more high-pressure sales tactics. We declined, and despite requesting a quote for just the stucco, COR decided our job was "too small" and refused to proceed unless we agreed to more services. They also claimed that if we agreed to upgrade our windows, they would paint the remaining stucco "for free."

Attempts to get an explanation from the company went unanswered. Now, we’re left with an incomplete job. I would not recommend COR based on my experience.

Update: The same day that I posted the original review, a COR representative came by my house unannounced to apologize and attempt damage control. They agreed to clean and paint the mini-walls using the paint leftover from the original job, which they did shortly thereafter. They have now posted a response claiming in part, "I wish that your request had gotten to the right ears before the review." We were told that the refusal to do such a small job, if we didn't agree to additional services, came from "the top." I do want to give them credit for coming back and painting the mini-walls, hence the upgrade to two stars.

I will give credit where credit is due. The team that repaired our stucco and painted did an amazing job. However, know that if you go with contractor, you can expect a hard sales pitch. I almost did not meet with them because they refused to meet me without my husband. They will tell you this is their policy, regardless of gender, but it still feels sexist and a blatant disregard for working couples. They insisted that we were both present for the estimate. We scheduled a day I thought my husband could make, but he got called into the office. The sales team came out and did a general assessment describing the current damage and future potential risks. They would not talk money until my husband was present. This meant my husband took time away from work so they could give us the whole sales pitch. They finally gave us a quote in the 30K range. I think this is probably on the high end, but they were using cool wall material and, as mentioned, the finished product was beautiful. In a moment of happiness, we asked for an estimate on our roof. Same process, they came in really high 50K range. We decided to get some other estimates, all of which came in between 23K-33K, which made me question how they come up so high. Here is my rub, since then, I have been repeatedly called by some guy name Jake/Jarred who tries to sell me a roof, saying "I won a free estimate". He isn't even the project manager who we originally worked with that gave us the estimate. We never heard back from him (no follow up). I told Jake/Jarred to stop calling me. He did not stop. I called the company and told them I wanted the phone calls to stop. He has called me 10 times this month and each time he talks to me like it's the first time. I don't know if it is the same person, or if my name and number was just thrown out there for any takers, but it has annoyed me to the point I will not do business with the contractor again.

We had a very positive experience with Cut Once Modeling in refroofing our house and replacing some water-damaged wood due to leakage from the old roof. They described what needed to be done and why, and every day told us what would take place for that day. The project manager kept us up to date on how the repairs were proceeding. The work team was very professional, open to our questions, and overall did an excellent job.

COR was amazing with our stucco repair and painting project! They did great quality work, on time & budget, were very friendly, and checked in with us literally twice a day to make sure everything was going according to plan. We’ve had mixed luck with contractors in the past; lots of times a contractor starts out strong and then sort of disappears at the end of a project without finishing everything. COR was solid from start to finish, and we’ll definitely use them again in the future and refer our neighbors to them (already have actually!). These are the contractors you’re looking for :)

1st project done with COR, was the coolwall project.. this is not your typical paint job. The prep work and attention to detail surpassed my expectation for this project! I will recommend this company to anyone looking to get their home fixed and up and looking great again! Thank you COR!

Install went very smoothly. Roof looks great crew was pro level. Word of caution if you have solar... removal and reinstall very costly surprise.

Watch out for these guys! They come to your door set an appointment for a "paint estimate" but it's not paint! They send over a salesman to take 2-3 hrs of your time pointing out small cracks on your stucco causing fear to buy now! They sell Textcote its an over price paint that has bad reviews. I have a 1400 ft house single level and the salesman came up with a 34k estimate! And they try to make you sign same day for 15% off its a bait and switch with fear in the pitch. The guy told me that if I didn't fix the stucco now its gonna cost 25k for one wall if I let it go! I have been living here 15 years and my house is in the same shape nothing has happened haha. Do not allow these jokesters to come to your house with their over priced fear 2-3 hr sales pitch its a joke!!!

A little pricey but quality of work and materials is excellent. If you believe in getting what you pay for, you can’t go wrong with COR.

The work by C.O.R. was very good. They started at 8 AM and stayed till 4 PM or longer depending on circumstances. Every day COR kept me up to date with updates and would advise me on what the game plan for the day was to be. There was also in person inspections daily. I was absolutely impressed and happy with the finished appearance.
I am very happy with the installation of the new windows on Aug 7, 2024. The job took about 6 hours and after they were finished they left the house neat and looking like it did when they first arrived. The walk through was good as they showed me everything as well with an explanation and short demo of the opening the windows. I am truly happy and satisfied.

I was introduced to cut once remodeling and chose to use them for a stucco and roof replacement project: they had amazing communication, work ethic and the job was finished in a timely manner all my expectations were met and more. Thanks again guys

The team at COR was great, I received an update every morning and there was someone on the job site daily for an afternoon update. The crew at my house went above and beyond to make sure things were cleaned up at the end of the day and things were taking care of properly. Cool wall looks great and now a new roof!

Areas that could have been better was the estimation of work. It went well past the initial estimation. The second thing that could of been better was the remediation of a minor mistake.

I have worked with many contractors/companies. I have just had the best experience in 32 years of owning a home. COR was fantastic in every way possible. It was apparent that the solicitor was refusing to take

Three of the company's salesmen came directly from
PACIFIC HOME WORKS INC
License #: 784477. This company was shut down by the
CSLB in 2019.

License 1040865 is for roofing only. They are not
licensed to install windows or paint.

Their flyer claims to be #1 in roofing, window replacement
and stucco. A check of building permits show this is
is not accurate.

The employees and workers that we dealt with were very efficient and courteous and kept us informed every step of the way . We were very pleased and would recommend to anyone.

Terrible business model. Door to door marketing and only gives sales pitch if a woman is present in order to attempt to manipulate by planting fear. I requested an estimate, but they refused to give me an estimate unless my wife was present. They then refused to take me off their marketing call list and call me multiple times a month no matter how many times I tell them to take me off their contact list. They are sketchy. Do not work with this company.

This company is the most accommodating and conscientious group of people I have had the pleasure of doing business with. They were not a cheap bid, but you get what you pay for.They went above and beyond our expectations. Every employee was very professional and friendly. Rhay had everything taken care of and checked in with me at least once a day. His entire team made sure everything was perfect every day. Due to an existing leak, they even came out and tarped the entire roof due to rain in the forcast while awaiting our materials. Slight chance of rain one day while awaiting the city inspector, so they tarped the roof again! The roof looks beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend C.O.R. We have more work the company will be doing soon and I'm sure we will be just as satisfied. Thank you C.O.R.!

We contracted with COR for several jobs: painting, roofing, and gutters. We were impressed with the thorough explanation of the materials they use and how they would correct some of the problems in our 55 year old house. Throughout the time their employees worked at our house, we were pleased with the attention to detail and the fact that someone from the company came every day to check on the progress and our satisfaction.
After all the jobs were completed, workers diligently followed up with making sure all the needed touch-ups were thoroughly taken care of. We are extremely satisfied with the result and have had very positive comments from neighbors.

Just had the outside of my 61 year old house restored by C O R! What a great job! They resurfaced, sealed and painted it. The crew was exceptional. Very, very punctual, professional and a pleasure to work with. I was treated to a daily review of the progress by the team leader, Margarito, who was fabulous . He led an extremely hard working crew. They all knew what to do!!! Appreciated having someone come every day to check the work. Eric, David, Rhay, Jeff — all were wonderful! Thank you, Larry, for putting up with me. The professional attitude, the patience, the respect and courtesy was much appreciated. Whether it was someone from the office or Margarito, all my questions were answered!

Project 3, Windows completed! COR continues to be #1 in my book! What an outstanding company! No matter how hard a time I tried to give them, they rose to the occasion. (Lord knows it’s hard to please an old lady! But please me they did!). The crew installing the windows worked hard and with precision. The backup crews that did touch up were also excellent.
You can’t beat the pride this company and employees have. Once again I am so impressed with the courtesy calls and the personalized visits to review the work and answer questions. Larry, Ray, Jeff, Eric, Joey,—- this time around you are the best! Do I recommend you? YOU BET!!!!

The overall work was ok..but had to have the company come back and redo/refinish some of the work that was very unsatisfactory ..had one of the sales representative see for himself the workmanship of the project..was very unhappy on that aspects of the job ,being that the company viewed itself as very professional and outstanding company..but on a good note their supervisior of the project(Dee),was very helpful

Cut Once Remodeling repaired and resurfaced the outside of our house. They did a fantastic job! Everyone, from start to finish, was professional, efficient, and respectful. Erik taught us about Cool Wall, the product the company uses and explained each and every step that they would do. Raul and Cesar were there everyday working on our house and kept us informed as to what they and the crew were doing and were going to do next. Rhay or David came by daily to examine the work that was done and asked us about any questions we might have. We definitely recommend C.O.R. and we will use them in future projects.

We recently had exterior work performed on our house including painting and stucco rework and are very pleased with the outcome. Work included several needed repairs and replaced woodwork. Cut Once Remodeling exceeded our expectations and finished ahead of schedule with no sacrifice in quality. The crew was professional and cleaned up each and every day during the project duration. A much needed refresh to our exterior! We would advocate considering this company for roofing, exterior treatment, and window replacement.

These people seem to use the same trick “we are working on a job in the area and wanted to offer a free quote”.
I am a busy person and offered that my wife be present when they come to do the estimate, but they declined and wanted me to be present. What a misogynist policy.

There were enough workers that the re-roofing was done more quickly than we expected and we were very pleased with the quality of the work and the knowledge of the workers. We recommend them to anyone with roofing issues who wants a very good job without worries (though there are probably cheaper jobs available).

I've hired them 3 times. I will call again if I need any further repairs or replacements. They are good, clean, honest and efficient.

I hired this company for the first time in 2019 to do my roof. Then hired them again at the end of 2022 to tackle my outside stucco and trim. Cut Once did an absolutely amazing job. It’s hard to get excited for a roof but the exterior looks absolute amazing. Some of my neighbors also recently had work done by other companies but it just doesn’t even look close to quality nor doesn’t the finished job look as good. Highly recommended!

We were approached by this company who knocked on our door, letting us know they were doing another job in the neighborhood and asking if we intended to paint. We scheduled a “free quote”. Like many of the other reviews say their “quote” was actually a predatory sales pitch. After telling us he was concerned our structure was damaged and we may soon “pop a stud” which would require the city to rip the whole wall out to inspect he gave us a super long (3 hours) sales pitch about cool wall paint, quotes us almost $40,000 but with a 5% discount if we signed up now with a $5,000 deposit. We said no. Then after leaving the sales person returned and said they were doing another job in the area and could give us a $10,000 discount. We still said no. They called us for weeks, each time offering us a lower price. My wife blocked their number and they called multiple times with a no caller ID number. After paying two structural engineers to assess the structure of the home, both informed us we were in no danger of “popping a stud” and that a regular patch and paint would suffice. Though they did suggest a paint like cool wall May help mitigate further damage, we were quoted about $15,000 less from other companies for such a product.

Very sketchy sales practices. I feel badly for the salesman, he was very kind but it’s clear he was under immense pressure to put through the sale. Nasty. Do your research before you pay this company anything. DO NOT give them a deposit until you get multiple quotes to compare.

Also, at least two of the 5 star reviews on this page are fake.

This company is amazing. Very professional, friendly, focused and efficient. The job was done quickly. It was very obvious the crew knew their business, took it seriously and required total satisfaction before leaving the job. Would recommend their expertise to all family and friends.

We have used this contractor to completely install a new roof 2 years ago, and to install several new windows this past week. In both cases, the workers were knowledgeable, professional and did a great installation. We can recommend them without reservation.

Got a knock on the door from a C.O.R. rep for a roofing job. We have an old roof so we figured why not get a free quote from them. The sale rep was extremely nice, but unfortunately the company is a bit scammy. He stayed here for 3+ hours to check out the roof and give a long, extensive sales pitch. We have an approx 1,300 sq ft house and know that we need a new roof, but the price he quoted was insane, to say the least.

$54,000 quote, which he immediately discounted to $47,000 if we gave a deposit of $1,000 that day.

I asked repeatedly for an itemized quote to see where he was getting that ridiculously high number and he was unable to provide it, since the $54,000 quote was pulled out of thin air. He was only able to say that 30% of the cost go to removal, 30% to installation, etc etc. So based on those numbers, it costs $16,200 for a single day of having a few guys scrap off old shingles into a dump truck.

Needless to say, we won’t be using COR anytime soon.

A salesperson came to my door asking if I needed stucco repair. I said yes and he set an appointment. The day of the appt two guys showed up, walked with me around my house and told me all about how some hairline cracks in the stucco of my house meant there was moisture in the wood that could lead to structural damage. Two hours of wasting my time later turns out all they were pushing was this cool wall system at a price of $36,000 with a discount included according to them.

The original stucco issue I had was never discussed. These guys aren’t contractors. They sell fancy paint at best. Don’t let them waste your time.

I am very pleased with the professionalism and workmanship, of Cut Once Remodeling. They were able to fix cracks in my stucco and match the new stucco texture seamlessly with the old. The results were absolutely beautiful!

Cut Once Remodeling was contracted to repair and recoat the outside of my house. Very high quality product and teamwork is important to me and the company. The product used is very durable and long lasting. The team that completed the job were friendly and always on time. All details were taken care of timely. If Cut Once stands by there work a signed warranty should be delivered upon completion of the job. I’m still waiting for mine.

Cut once remodeling applied COOLWALL to my stucco home. They are very professional they answer all your questions and keep you informed daily about the progress and what will be done the following day they Also call everyday to tell you when the crew will arrive.They were finished in a week like promised. The crew was very conscientious they took great pride in doing a good job plus they cleaned up as they went there was never a mess left at the end of the day. My home looks Great.

They showed up on time everyday. Clean around the house before going home. Were Considerate of the neighbors when starting the job.

COR was awesome. Mom's 61 year old home was in desperate need of foundation and stucco repairs and paint. Her home looks new now. The crew was professional and respectful of our property and needs. The office was in contact with me at least twice a day to keep me informed as to what to expect daily. COR was pleasant to work with. I am very happy with their workmanship.
We later went with them for new custom windows too. Knowing their workmanship, we felt comfortable having them come back.
Our home is now water and soundproof.

Overall windows are now complete the workers were very good kept everything clean whatever they removed they pickup the debris lead person explained the how to operate the new windows sorry I forgot his name

The exterior of the house I must say again the lead person was very personal told me what he was going to do each day and explained what his crew was doing and actually it looks like a new home love the color that was picked he also had a wonderful crew

When we did the walk through I noticed that the windows seal guess that is what is called was not painted and the attic vents were not replaced guess the attic vents were not on the paperwork but I didn’t ask at the time thinking everything was covered but I have this beautiful house now but the around windows is not painted

Can’t comment on the roof yet that starts next week but I’m sure I will get the best crew yet again

Overall your team have done a great job just for the 2 things that I mentioned

After being recommended by my sister, I just had my roof done by COR. This was by far the easiest home improvement project I’ve ever had done on my home. Larry was my representative. He was very knowledgeable about roofing. When we first met, he did a full detailed inspection of my roof and showed me pictures of everything he found.
Larry then explained in detail what materials he was going to use and why he recommended them.
Once the project started, it went exactly as Larry had told me it would. A roof is a messy job, I had wood shingles and they went everywhere. The crew did an amazing job cleaning it all up. Four days later, the roof was completed. I’m 100% confident my roof will outlast me on this home. Great materials and great installation!

…ADDITIONAL JOB - 4 years later…
My stucco and wood work were in need of repair so I called Cut Once Remodeling back to have yet another job done. Larry is no longer there but Brandon was able to help me and did an amazing job explaining exactly what they were and were not going to do. David communicated with me every step of the way by calling me the night before and informing me exactly what was going to be done the following day. The crew did a fantastic job. My house looks like it did when I bought it. Thank you COR for another easy, well managed project.
