Had an amazing experience working with Sardar from start to finish. He was very thorough, professional, and easy to work with. Sardar communicated everything very clearly at every step. I had a great experience with socal home upgrades. They made the entire process easy from start to finish. They handled the permit process for me. Their prices are very reasonable.

The 10 year old remote on my Velux skylight died and I called SoCal Home Upgrades for a quote based on an internet search for Velux Skylight service. Sadar (the owner) called me back promptly and we set up a repair appt. Even though I live in a gated community and they are particular about who they let climb on the roof, Sadar assured me that he was cleared with the permissions and extra insurance my HOA required. The repair appt went perfectly and I am a very satisfied customer.

We try whenever possible to support small local businesses, and we are so glad we went with this company for our skylight replacement. It was easy going throughout the whole process. He talked through the whole replacement process and options with us so that we made an informed decision and he did top quality work with a quality product. He even ran out during the job to get a piece that he noticed needed replacement/repair after removing the original skylight at no extra cost simply because he knew it was the right thing to do and would ensure there were no issues with our new skylight. Great experience all around and we absolutely love our new skylight with some new and great features.

We had an issue with our skylight remote that rendered the skylight nonfunctional. The only way to repair it was by physically pressing a button located 16 feet up—definitely not an easy fix. I reached out to Socal Home yesterday, explained the situation to Sardar, and he quickly provided a fair quote compared to other companies. He arrived promptly the next day and had the skylight fixed in under an hour, a task made even more challenging by the need for such a tall ladder. His professionalism and efficiency were much appreciated, and I’ll definitely call him again for any future assistance. He was respectful and made sure everything was properly repaired.

Sardar took the time to come to the home and personalized the experience before providing a quote versus getting a no look text quote from the other vendor. He made the experience very positive with great communication of what needed to be done, delivered on time and as quoted, quality of work was great and took the time to clean up and explain to me what he did and how everything worked. Will definitely recommend Sardar for your skylight needs.

SoCal did a great job replacing a skylight that was damaged during the recent windstorms in my area. They were extremely responsive on the phone and were able to come out right away to assess the damage and order and install the correct skylight. Since there was a rainstorm about to arrive, they also waterproofed the existing damaged skylight until they came back the next week for the replacement service . They are extremely professional in every aspect of their service. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Fabulous service! Sardar was very knowledgeable and held our hands during the entire process! His price was very reasonable as we had 3 quotes prior to hiring him. Not only is he a perfectionist, he is vert trustworthy.

Do not do business with this company.
I total rip off. charges $798.98 for the same thing you can buy at Lowes for $105.00.
on top of that they change $625.00 for the labor.
I have 3 skylights that is a total of $4,617.63.

it only took 45 minutes to replace all 3 skylights at a total cost of $590.00 .
Now you tell me , is this guy a crook or what

Sardar is by far one of the best contractors we’ve ever dealt with! He is super friendly and knowledgable and his communication was top notch from beginning to end.

We recently had our roof redone and replaced three old skylights. Unfortunately, we ended up with cheap acrylic dome style lenses that were really hot and allowed a lot of outside noise into the house (I didn’t even know my neighbor had wind chimes until now!). Sardar talked us through all the different options and provided us with a couple of estimates to help us decide between them.

We ended up getting three dual pane laminated low E glass lenses, one frosted and two with solar shades. Installation was quick and hassle free. We couldn’t be happier with our new skylights; the house is drastically cooler and we don’t hear outside noise anymore!!!

I wish more contractors were like SoCal Home Upgrades. From the minute I sent in an inquiry, they were responsive. They replaced my two kitchen skylights. After a big rain, there was a leak, but they came right out and found the leak and rectified the matter. No more leaks even after more rain. It was great doing business with them.

Contacted several companies for bids on replacing an old skylight. Was not satisfied with options available or price that I was not willing to pay. I did some more research and found Sardar at SoCal Home Upgrades.

Sardar was able to provide the exact solution I was looking for and a price that was acceptable. He was willing to climb up on my roof, examine all the skylights but particularly the one I wanted to replace, and also suggested a slight change to the mounting that would make it a better installation.

Installation was quick once the skylight was delivered and he cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. No muss, no fuss.

The skylight functions very well, looks much better than the old one, and I’m a happy camper.
