Worked with Custom One to remodel our primary bathroom and they knocked it out of the park! Very professional from designer Leah Kovar who helped select amazing selections for the look we wanted. Hogan Jackson the job supervisor was excellent and kept all tasks on time, along with all subs who worked on the plumbing, millwork, flooring, lighting, and demo! Shout out to this team and Custom One Renovation! Thank you, Todd Polifka, Jon Miller and Reid Sellgren, for a smooth process. If you've ever lived through a major - or minor - renovation project you know the stress and difficulty of having your home turned into a construction site. It's terrible. There is no way to get around the traffic, noise, and mess. But you can minimize all of that with Custom One.

Custom One made our major renovation as painless as possible. The constructors they brought on site were 99% professional, tidy, and respectful of our home. In the one case where a problem occurred, Custom One was there to make it right without question or hesitation. Our Project Manager was on site every single day, even evenings and weekends, checking progress, making note of issues, and cleaning up anything that needed attention.

The joke is contractors are always "two more weeks" but not Custom One. They finished on time, as promised. Not one single day passed without progress, and when the inevitable happened and setbacks occurred, they have the talent and will to get things back on track.

Even now, 3 years out from completion, when we've had a small defect appear as the project settled into place, they've been out to fix things immediately. Unusual to find that sort of after care once the checks have cleared!

You might find a cheaper bid, but if you value your time, comfort, and sanity you're not going to find a better value.

I am a designer who has worked with Custom One on various projects. I could not be more impressed with them. Their commitment to detail, their ability to bring all of our dreams to fruition and truly cater to the needs of my client, and their knowledge and clarity of process is simply the best. I have done many complicated projects with Custom One that required short timelines or tricky logistics, and they make everything feel simple - to be able to trust someone else with something so important to me is truly a gift. I will continue to work with them again and again.

We used Custom One Renovation to add a wine cellar in our basement. Mark was our project manager and Leah was our designer. They were amazing to work with! Their communication was exceptional and we would highly recommend them! Our wine cellar is beautiful and when we had a minor issue with the lights after completion, they addressed it immediately.

If I could, I would add another 5 stars! Lexi was a real pro - -collecting and assembling visual samples, recommending design options for the space, follow-through on any and every question and detail. Even when the remodel was handed off to construction, she was still available to advise and answer questions. And the construction team under John's leadership remained on task and on time as outlined in the schedule. We were never left wondering what was happening with our project! We are delighted with the results and highly recommend Custom One Renovation!

We just completed a master suite remodel with Custom One. We have done a lot of remodeling in our home over the past four years, but this is our first project with Custom One. In hindsight, we wish we would have had Custom One do ALL of our remodels. Mark, our Project Manager, was on top of everything from day one. He was thorough, responsive and had an eye for quality. He made sure everything was done the way he would want it for his home. He managed all the contractor teams with efficiency and respect. He was a pleasure to work with! Speaking of contractors, all the different teams that came in were respectful, clean, and as quiet as contractors can be. And they all did a quality job! Some of the best we've seen. Becca, our Designer, was also very responsive and thorough. She was on top of all the details from start to finish. She helped us bring our vision to life! We have our dream master suite! Custom one was great to work with from the beginning to the end. We worked with Becca to design our dream kitchen. She was always available when we needed her and was easy to work with. The overall construction went very fast and they were always keeping open communication with us throughout the project. We couldn’t have asked for better!

Never in our wildest dreams could we have imagined that our dark, musty, unfinished basement could be so utterly transformed into the showcase area it is today.

Our designer, Becca imagined what we could not. The design she created was absolutely beautiful. The renderings she provided helped us to also imagine what she could see and made us so excited to watch her vision come to life. Becca was so much help utilizing her expertise to suggest the perfect flooring, lighting, paint colors, carpeting, stone, and countertops for the space.

Our project manager, Mark provided us with a project timeline at the beginning of the project and updated us regularly indicating which subcontractors would be working on the basement in the upcoming week. Because of his management the project was completed ahead of schedule.

The subcontractors that worked on our project were fantastic to have in our home. They were very professional and their workmanship was exceptional. They were very friendly and always cleaned up the work site at the end of the day.

Early on in the project, the building inspector identified a structural issue relating back to when we put an addition on our 100 year old house some 15 years ago. Mark and his team were able to design and execute a solution that the inspector approved and our project could continue.

Then like icing on the cake, upon completion of the project, Custom One presented us with a beautiful gift basket of items for our home that looked like it had been picked out especially for us.

We sincerely want to thank Becca, Mark, and the whole Custom One Renovation team for helping to make this huge renovation such a smooth process. And thank you especially for providing us with an amazing space that we look forward to spending time in every day. We are absolutely delighted with our beautiful new lower level!

Our home is beautiful after working with Custom One! We met with several competitors before making our selection. The entire process far exceeded our expectations. From the professionalism of the first meeting with Jonathan and Reid to the completion of the project we knew we had made the right choice. Ron, the Director of Construction, was a trusted partner throughout our project. We can’t even count the number of times we said, “Ron, what would you do?”. He provided creative ideas for consideration to make our sightlines more open and to ensure symmetry (which was something I care about), he chose integrity and the right way versus the easy way, and even taped things out on floors so we could visualize them. Our home was secure during the process with many exceptional tradespeople. Everyone went above and beyond to mediate safety issues that were uncovered, integrated our sometimes-last minute requests, provided top-notch craftsmanship, and made each interaction enjoyable. Custom One Renovations recently renovated my office space and I couldn't be happier with the final product. Becca was phenomenal to work with and helped us get the ideas from our head molded into an actual project. She was also great at explaining how the process works. Mark was our project manager and was very easy to communicate with and kept us updated during every step.

Truly a joy: a contractor who over-communicates, who fixes issues as they come up, who spots problems before I even imagined it was a problem. The attention to detail and quality here is like nothing I've ever experienced. From the initial project design, to every step of the permitting process, to absolute perfection in performance. Have you ever done a renovation and felt like it was a joy? I have!

I would give them a zero star if I could. The project manager left the company during the start of the project, and we got stuck with a “project coordinator” that had other priorities than working on our project and lack of personal/business ethics…..
This was one of many issues, but we also became the “project manager”, as we went weeks without progress on our project.

We added a 3 season porch under our existing deck. It was a complicated project because the deck had to be deconstructed to add the proper waterproofing and drainage. The Custom One team developed a solution for exactly what we wanted and it turned out flawless! We used SunSpace windows (if you know, you know) which add so much light and versatility. We wanted a 'modern/rustic' look which was pulled off by the beautiful reclaimed wood ceiling and slate tile fireplace. The porch is insulated so well it's usable almost year round! The porch looks exactly like the inspiration pics that we used - including the custom built bar on the outside. Home Media Innovations helped us with a TV and speaker system which is rated for outdoor space so we never worry about it being too cold or hot for the electronics. Custom One was great to work with and a top tier choice! 10/10 highly recommend!
