This may be a bit long but well worth the read!
So we decided to have a new large single basin sink to replace the basic stainless double bowl contractor's special that goes into houses when built, an upgraded faucet, and a new install for a dishwasher and garbage disposal. Now curt doesnt do the electrical so you will need to line up an electrician which, when looking for a contractor I found to be the standard norm where most guys like curt would subcontract electrical work anyway.
Back to the job, I called a couple folks didnt get much of a response, I called curt, he was up front about when he could come to do an estimate as he had other jobs going (understandable) but once he had a minute he came right out we discussed what I wanted and terms I put down a deposit and he was here the next day to do the work. Mind you this house never had either the disposal or dishwasher before so there was a bit of work involved getting it all set up but he managed to do it in a day. I did have to call him back for a very minor water drip from the drain (turns out a small spot was missing some of the sealing putty) and when cleaning up his stuff the door catch to the dishwasher was picked up. So I sent him a text and he came right back the very next morning and squared it away in less than half an hour.
The work looks fantastic, we had purchased the pieces we wanted previously except like the plumbing parts, relying on his expertise to get what he knew he would need. Very professional, easy to talk to, punctual and his rates are great. The job will dictate obviously but 1 previous contractor I contacted first quoted me 2700 for this job then 3 days later revised it down to 1575 which gave me pause because it begs the question of why so high the first time? And curt came in well under that even. I strongly recommend giving him a call as he is able to do a wide range of work as the title of his business states. If this allows me I will post some pics of the finished work.
(Update) the photos I sent to be published under HIS photos tab on Google. It is the warm wood cabinets with the black sink, Kohler faucet and stainless dishwasher and the moen garbage disposal. His work really speaks for itself.
