I had a complete bathroom remodel done by Brendan and his team. Walls and floor redone, replaced the tub with a walk-in shower, everything new. We have been very happy with our new bathroom since then, especially the shower which now has multiple settings like rainfall and waterfall. It feels like a totally different room. Where it used to be functional at best, now it's a haven to destress from a long day.

Brendan did a fantastic job renovating two bathrooms for me last winter. I was on a tight timeline and he hit the timeline and kept on budget. He is also very detail oriented and holds his subcontractors to a high standard. He did such a great job that I asked him to renovate a deck this year. He did the job right spending time on making sure the structure was better than it ever was before replacing old boards. Thank you, Brendan!

I recently contracted Brennan to build a second bathroom in my basement. I'm happy to say that I absolutely love the end result. The new bathroom is my favorite room in the house. Brennan and his lead, Jeremiah, showed up when they said they would every time. They were fast, friendly, and professional. I was kept up to date at every step of the project and regularly consulted for my preferences. Jeremiah spent 7 weeks working on the bathroom and was friendly and upbeat every day. I cannot recommend CTG enough for their outstanding craftsmanship and service. Thank you!

So I have been debating on posting this review for a while, but do feel that it may help others. I hired Mr. O’Neil last year in September I believe it was to remodel our kitchen and build a screened in porch. Extremely long story short he talked as though he would have multiple crews working on it every day and that he would be done before thanksgiving. This was important since we were hosting thanksgiving. Turns out Jeremiah was here by himself most of the time and the job was extremely unorganized with Jeremiah making daily trips to Lowe’s in Madison heights which is 45 minutes from my house. I don’t blame Jeremiah for this as he really did work hard and was honest and open with me the entire time. I’m not going to go into all of the details of every problem and delay. Just know that it was a very stressful and frustrating process. They ended up finishing in December. The only reason for two stars instead of one is because the kitchen did turn out very nice and it exactly what I wanted. However, I’m not sure if it’s due to them being in a rush or what, but these are a few examples of the poor craftsmanship on the porch. And afterwards he had the audacity to ask for more money claiming that he was losing money on the job. If he lost money it’s only because it took so long. Anyway, I’m not going to keep going as I feel that the pictures should speak for themselves. Just know what you are getting into before contacting him. I know that good reliable contractors are almost impossible to find right now that aren’t overwhelmed with work. If you do go with him just make sure that you carefully review the contract and ensure that every detail is in writing. I’m not saying that they won’t do good work, as I am happy with the kitchen. I’m just saying to be very very cautious.

This is a bit overdue, but Brendan and his team did an amazing job turning our unusable room into a hallway and beautiful nursery for our new baby back in November/December. It was super nice not having to contract out to different companies as Brendan and his crew did it all from woodworking to electric work and did so with excellence. Not to mention quick. We will definitely be using him for future projects!

Mr. O'Neil and his crew are a pleasure to work with. I had my sunroom remodeled and they were very efficient in completing the work to code. I also had two exterior doors put in and they close so smooth! Any other remodeling I have done will be with CTG! Highly recommend! If you're looking for a builder with great integrity (which is hard to find these days) look no further. Highly recommend!

I am so impressed with the shower that the people of CTG installed! Very reasonable price and they finished the job within time estimate given. Troy, the tiler, is an artist and a master of his craft! Brenden was very polite, responsive throughout the project, and good to his employees. I would definitely use them again for future projects and recommend to others!

Brandon was prompt and very skilled as a craftsman. His prices were very reasonable and he was very easy to work with. He remodeled our bathroom and then went on to do the lower floor to finish after a sump pump was installed.

Called to get information about the services offered and the person who answered was very rude which surprised me since there were so many good and positive reviews about this company . The person seemed bothered that I was trying to call and book their service to remodel our house, he wouldn’t even give me information about when they would be available. Lynchburg residents should not call these people.

The men were courteous and professional in their work. They kept the area as clean as possible and made certain that we were in agreement at every step in the process. After buying my house I was wanting/needing to fix the sub floor in the master bathroom. So I decided to to remodel the whole thing because the bathroom was old pink tile from the 60s. I shopped around before settling on this company. I met with the owner and he was very knowledgeable and was very upfront about what he and his crew would do. We settled on a starting time and an end time. This was about six weeks. They got started while I wasn't in the house, I was still at my apartment, this way they could work as the please. These guys were great and took great care to minimize the dust and prevent damage to my hardwood floors. They got ahead of schedule then either lowes or the shower company messed up the shower order which pushed back the end date by a few weeks. My plan was to move in after it was done but with this delay I had to move in before that. They got it worked out tho in the end and finished my wonderful bathroom. Some things I would have liked is to know sooner how much of the agreed upon price was for things such as vanity, shower, toilet etc.. Besides some very minor details I am very happy with their work and would hire them again in the future.

Outstanding service, Brendan O'Neill's knowledge of the remodeling industry extends to every aspect of the process. He knows the best workers, electricians, cabinetry, and resources for any job. I've been impressed with his work enough to be a repeat customer, first for my main bathroom a few years ago and then my kitchen last month. Brendan keeps the job moving, and if delays occur, then he sticks with it to ensure nothing gets left behind. He is a hard worker who does great overseeing a job and even getting his hands dirty as needed. He will do his utmost to ensure the quality of the work meets the needs of the customer. It is not everyday that you find an experienced construction owner who cares as much about the customer as Brendan does.

Let me make this easy for you. I'm posting in a remote location so I may have trouble uploading pictures. But I'm a government contractor, and have dealt with a handful of lynchburg contractors.

I can attest, that it is difficult finding a trustworthy contractor that services the area. They often times play your ignorance for shoddy work that you research yourself later. Or you get lucky and catch them in the act.

CTG went above and BEYOND for me. It really is incredible what they helped me accomplish. On a couple occasions they handled issues that came up regarding my old house(1895) that were out of the scope of our agreement. This company gave me a competitive pricing for the remodel, and followed through.

Due to COVID crisis, I spent more time on the jobsite to witness the work they conducted. Some materials took longer to arrive, and I was unable to inspect the work after completion. But am more then confident the work conducted was a service 10/10.

I was more then blessed to stumble upon CTG, and will strive to have them work on my home in the near future.

If CTG couldn't help me due to a busy sced. I would rather handle myself, as the majority of lynchburg contractors are no good. And its not worth dealing with correcting shoddy work. Brendan is your guy, and worth the wait if he has to put you forward on his sced. I AM TELLING YA. He is the guy to work on your home.

Brendan and his team surpassed all of my expectations. I have worked with many different contractors over the years and will say that working with Brendan and his CTG remodeling group was the best experience I have had. He is very professional, very easy to talk to, and extremely easy to work with. He provided me with the most reasonable price based on what I was trying to accomplish. My goal was to turn a garage into a bedroom with a bathroom. The job required framing, sheetrock, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and the removal of the garage door which was being replaced by a large 3 section window. I received several estimates and Brendan's was not only the best estimate, but he was also able to start the job faster then everyone else and based on his initial statement would be able to finish the job before anyone else. It was one of those situations where I needed the job to be started and completed as soon as possible and for the best price. Brendan stayed absolutely true to his word. He started the job exactly when he said he would. He maintained communication with me and kept me informed of progress and any possible delays. There ended up being no delays. Brendan actually completed the job ahead of time. I was shocked with how quickly he and his team came in and got this done and how good the workmanship was. Brendan and his entire team were professional, hard working, honest, and reliable. I will definitely use Brendan and CTG remodeling again in the future. I am beyond satisfied and highly recommend Brendan and CTG remodeling.

Mr. O'Neill was very accommodating to our situation. We had a mold problem underneath our bathroom floor tile that we weren't aware of until we tried to remove some of the floor tiles. Mr. O'Neill shifted his work schedule to get his crew here quickly to remove the affected flooring out of our shared concern of our children's safety. His crew was extremely courteous and paid particular attention to the details. We are extremely happy with the results!

Brendan and his team remodeled for us a 1917 building in the historical district. When we bought the house we got estimates that were twice the cost of the house itself and almost could not afford to do them but Brendan gave us a great price and showed all the important bits we should focus on. We spent around 100K on remodeling, including prepping and painting all walls, sanding and polishing all floors, fully renovating the entire kitchen, fixing water damage and rot issues, renovating majority of bathrooms, porch, soffit and roof work. They can really do everything! The final work was amazing, even with our extra needs and additions the price was reasonable. Brendan is very easy to communicate with and very honest about how he is pricing and where the costs are. We have been living in the house for almost 6 months now and everything is still looking great.

We used CTG to remodel the kitchen in our 1930s house and the results are amazing, we absolutely love it! Brenden and his crew were great and do excellent work! The job had some challenges as expected in an old house but CTG was able to accomplish all the work needed to give us a beautiful kitchen!

Working with Brendan and his team has been quite the pleasure, they made the process very easy for my family and I. We purchased an old home built in the 1930’s with very little maintenance and updating done to it by the previous owners. He and his team managed to convert 1.5 baths into 3! They completely updated the full bath and removed all the old features and placed the beautiful vanity and tile of my choosing. He was so flexible when it came to my color and feature selections, it was actually fun to do. The team knocked down the wall of the half bath and extended the room to incorporate a corner shower. He took the time to explain each step of the process and why certain things had to be done a very specific way while other things were to my choosing. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious both the corner shower and the bathroom turned out. The last bath was quite the challenge and I appreciate the ingenuity that had to go into giving me what I wanted. They converted an old washroom with just a sink in it into a full bath. The amount of work that went into all the new pipework and installation of all that was necessary to make it a functional bathroom was great and very appreciated. Brendan and his team did a great job and they know what they are doing. They go above and beyond, and even offer help and solutions with things they saw needed fixing, from windows needing to be replaced to helping me connect and secure the pipe of my dryer properly, those gentlemen really took care of my home.

My Mother prayed for a miracle. We received that Miracle when Mr. O'Neil came by one day a couple months ago and looked at our bathroom. He took on this job without a second thought. Knowing this was an older house and that him and his crew could run into some problems. Well a week into the job they did. Our pipes from outside at the meter, all the way into the house had to be replaced. They were rusted and in pretty bad shape. Mr.O'Neil didn't hesitate at what to do next. They changed all of our old pipes outside and inside. I would recommend them to anyone looking to remodel their home.

Brendan and team did an incredible job on our kitchen remodel. He recommended things that I never would have thought of (like taking a tile backsplash all the way to a stove vent, putting LED lights underneath the cabinets.). These little changes made all the difference in the end. His team was professional and the communication throughout the process was prompt. We recommended him to one of our neighbors I will continue to recommend CTG remodeling.

My wife and I live in a downtown lynchburg house that is over 110 years old. We had decided to hire a person to upgrade our kitchen, which would be installed with finished cabinets at a later date. He was doing an absolutely terrible job. It reached a point where my wife demanded that he be relieved of his duties. He left everything completely unfinished. At this point we had a kitchen with no working plumbing, an uninstall sink and counter top, hazardous electrical wiring that was completely out of code, poorly installed sheet rock walls that were incapable of holding any form of cabinets, and a kitchen floor having removed tiles, poor joist support, and holes in various places. Needless to say, , we were left in a desperate state to find another person who could correctly continue the job. . When we brought in someone to give an estimate for just fixing the plumbing, flooring, and to reinstall our sink and countertop, they appeared to be intimidated by the work that needed to be done, and as is common, they gave us a price that seems to be commensurate with their apparent level of intimidation. When we brought an a certified electrician to give an estimate on electrical work that was needed, he gave us a price that would be expected from a New york city electrician. This is Lynchburg. If we wanted to pay this price, then we would have pack our bags and move to New York City!
Upon additional searching, and by divine providence, we came across CTG Building and Remodeling. When I call the company, I spoke to Brendan an explain our situation. He sent his superintendent, Steve Kappler, to look at what was needed to be done. In short, after eight and a half days, Steve completed and finished everything. He brought everything up to code. When it comes to Building and Remodeling, Steve has no fear, and for good reason, he has completed around four thousand homes in his lifetime. Inspite of difficulties encountered in a house like this, with old fashion American ingenuity (which is nearly impossible to find now days), and coming from a school of "Hard Knocks", he found fixes to these problems. My wife, who expects perfection from anyone who works on this house, is happy, and when she is happy, I am happy. We thank you both Steve and Brendan for your integrity and hard work.

CTG Remodeling, finished my basement. They added two bedrooms, a full bath, game room and family room. The quality and on time scheduling were fantastic. The estimate and final price were within budget. The quality of the drywall and painting were perfect and above standard. I am planning on using CTG again when I remodel my kitchen in the fall.

CTG Green Building remodeled a bathroom for me. It was nice to finally reach a contractor who was prompt to give me a quote, prompt to start the job, and finished in the time-frame we agreed on. His prices were reasonable. His team was respectful, and they left the work-space clean everyday. I was happy with my bathroom remodel. I recommend this team to anyone who wants a reasonable cost and quality work.
