We had Croixside Home Improvements LLC replace our front entry door and sliding deck door. We are quite pleased with how they both turned out. Mike got us on the schedule as soon as we let him know we were ready. John was very pleasant and detailed. He did not cut corners as some challenges arose. The clean up once the work was finished was appreciated. We would recommend Croixside to friends and family.

We are highly dissatisfied with Croixside Home Improvements. We DO NOT recommend using them for your kitchen. After the initial estimate with Mike, it what nothing but delays and frustration. Mike seems like a good man, but everything in our project did not go well. Unreliable timeline (estimated 8-10 weeks resulted in total of 7 months.) Worker doing poor quality work. Lack of communication/unprofessional with delayed responses to our concerns throughout the entire process. - Incorrect initial measurements causing reorders. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Very pleased with the results of our siding. Bob, Mike, and the small crew were pleasant to work with. Project was finished in a few days and we felt they did an excellent job on our siding and basement windows. The clean up was thorough and the whole project was reasonably priced. We highly recommend Croixside.

I found Croixside Home Improvement on Angi. Of the three patio door estimates I received, Mike was the most knowledgeable and least "sales-y." I just had a good feeling when he came to assess my old door. He knew what he was talking about, and everything he expected to be true from that initial meeting about what would be needed at install (e.g., the size of my door, the material of my old door, the need for a new threshold, etc.) proved true. The salesmen from the other two companies were flat out wrong in what they told me. Though scheduling the install was a bit challenging, the end product was worth it. Mike's installer was thorough and took the time to explain how his material and technical choices would provide a better installation than what I had previously. I recommend working with Croixside. I feel both Mike and his installer have helped me to be a good steward of my resources and my first home.

Quality work and prompt to get the work started. Small crew was talented and made the work more manageable for a small city lot size. They did the work and were open to little changes/requests along the way, so you really are heard. Highly recommend this great team!

We are very pleased with my our new windows installed by Croixside. Everyone we worked with was professional and made the whole process of getting new windows easier. Mike was great with communication and was quick to respond when we needed extra work done.

The guys at Croixside did an amazing job re-siding our home. We went from cedar siding, which was original from 1970, and had it replaced with some beautiful Brunswick color vinyl siding. Our house is transformed and I can’t thank the guys enough. I highly recommend Croixside for your home-improvement needs. They also did the soffit and facia, they put on a new storm door, and new downspouts. Our house looks great!

I had a new entry door installed. The worker was prompt, courteous and did not need my help. Quality work all around. Would highly recommend.

Running behind with my review...Mike and team replaced two exterior doors, a front picture window, and about 9 interior doors in 2019. Interior work took a while, but was satisfied with the result. Exterior doors and window were done in a couple days for all three. Very happy with the quality of the beautiful new front door.

Not a fan. Purchased front door in August '21. Door finally installed... April '22. The installer was a nice enough guy, but very unprofessional, didn't seem to respect my time. Showed up without trim. Said he'd just go to the store to get it. Came back with the wrong kind. Then decided he'd just finish the next day. He's quite lucky I even had time the next day at all.

We were skeptical about installing a sliding glass door into a stucco house built in 1955. Everyone was saying: think twice, it's really hard to repair the stucco if something went wrong, blah, blah, blah.
We were really impressed with the craftsmanship of the installation. Looks great and really opens up the kitchen. Love it.

Croixside Home Improvements was a great company to do business with. I would and have recommended them to anyone who looking for a kitchen update.

Great experience start to finish! Took a little while for the door to come in but once it was ready and available everything was set up and went off without a hitch, would highly recommend!

Mike and John did a fantastic job on our kitchen cabinet refacing. We priced several options - this was clearly the best value! We could keep our counter-tops and back splash but looks like a whole new kitchen! All new hardware with lots of extra features and storage. They even custom-made a few pieces and gave great advice on how we could improve flow and use. The only reason we would give less than 5 stars was due to longer timelines than expected and one set of doors that were the wrong size and had to be redone from the manufacturer, which takes even longer. Having said that, in the midst of Covid, they still performed great and the supply chain is a challenge for everyone. Their team was responsive and professional and we'd highly recommend them, just need a little extra patience with the process under Covid.

Mike and team did a phenomenal job refacing our kitchen. Smooth process from start to finish, and most importantly, it looks fantastic! They went above and beyond and some of our unique requests, and that just shows their ability to deliver. Great experience overall. Would/will hire again.

We are highly dissatisfied with Croixside Home Improvements. We DO NOT recommend using them for your kitchen. After the initial estimate with Mike, it has been disappointment after disappointment:

- Delays in product orders.
- Unreliable timeline (estimated 8-10 weeks resulted in total of 7 months.)
- Subpar subcontractors essentially causing our kitchen to be redone twice.
- Lack of communication/unprofessional with delayed responses to our concerns throughout the entire process.
- Incorrect initial measurements causing reorders.
- Reorder color was wrong and owner Mike being dishonest about this.
- Did not honor his listed veterans discount.
- Purposely vague contact which covered their flaws (we spoke with a lawyer multiple times about our issues that we unfortunately could do nothing about).

It took 7 months from contract signing until completion. Seven months! Well the kitchen looks done, the process has been nothing but disheartening. Overall, AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Gave mike 6k for a down payment which he said he would not cash for 5 days,he cashed the next day and caused us overdraft fees, should have known at that time it was going to be a nightmare, which it was,8 months later job still wasn't done, constant delays, wrong parts ordered,and not showing up,he finally abandoned the job after we gave him the balance,15k for a really bad kitchen reface, this guy is a terrible human being!!!!

Croixside replaced 13 windows on the main level of our 130 year old house. Our experience with them was outstanding, from the sales process through the final inspection. The installer, Matt, was great to work with, and our windows are beautiful inside and out. They helped us to choose windows that would match the style of the old ones, so in many ways everything looks exactly the same inside, which is what I wanted. Highly recommend.

Not a great start.

I called to get an estimate on 2 projects (deck improvement and replace a patio door). I received the quotes and needed some time to solicit other proposals. I replied that I would be going a different direction on the door but would be Interested in the deck repair. Bob replied with a reply that didn’t sit well. They were soooooooooooooo busy and I should just go find a handyman because the $2000 deck repair wasn’t worth it.

I am happy their business is booming and they should milk this cow while they can. But croixside needs to know little projects can become big projects so not a smart sales strategy from “bob”.

Lots of ways to politely turn down work so won’t be considering them for future work at my home.

Yet another flawless door installation project! Croixside has replaced both of my exterior doors and (so far) 7 interior doors and I will hire them again for my next round of door replacements. Great company all around.

I can't speak highly enough about Mike and his team at Croixside. We were looking at getting our kitchen cabinets replaced and had no idea where to start. After meeting with a few vendors we met with Mike. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating more than anyone else that we met with. He gave us ideas about our kitchen that we didn't know if we could or should do. The recommendations that he provided were outstanding. One aspect that we always a pain was our space that had a lazy susan. What we had was not functional or practical. That new lazy susan idea that Mike brought to use was fantastic! From day 1 the work that was being done was professional, thorough, and timely. The quality is second to non and would have easily paid $3000 to $5000 more working with a competitor. We absolutely love our kitchen and would recommend Croixside to anyone.

Had windows replaced in March. Job was well done and I was pleased. In December, I saw something that looked like a window had a problem. I phoned Croixside and left a message. Next day I received a return call from Mike. By then I figured the supposed problem was not caused by the window replacement. I really appreciated the quick response from Croixside.

It was a good job that John and Mike did on my house. All my windows and patio door were replaced and they did an excellent job siding was replaced looks very good ,a few bumps in the road along the way ,but Mike or John came out and took care of the problem right away, I'm going to have Mike put a deck on the house in the spring. Mike and John both really take pride in the work that they do. I would highly recommend them.

We had Croixside install a new front door on our house. Overall we had a great experience and I would recommend them to others for home improvement projects.

We recently had Croixside install 7 new windows in our 100+ year old home, some of the windows most likely being original to the home. Everything from the first time we met with them to the Mike's post-installation check up was pleasant and smooth. We got an amazing deal on the price, and the windows look great in our old home. Matt, the installer, was both friendly and professional, and worked fast and cleanly. Very happy with our new windows so far, and the entire experience with Croixside.

I hired Croixside to replace eight windows on the main level of my home this past summer. I enjoyed working with owner Mike Aubert. John, the guy who performed the installation, did a fantastic job and was a pleasure to work with as well.

The windows themselves look great and are much more energy efficient than the old windows, which were original. My house was built in 1949 and even though a previous owner had added aluminum storms to the exterior, I was definitely losing a lot of heat through those old windows during the winter. With these new windows the house stays warm and comfortable more consistently. My furnace is running much less often than it did last fall when the temps started to drop. And like I said, they look great, too.

I would (and will) definitely hire Croixside for additional home improvement projects, and I would highly recommend John as an installer.

All in all it was an extremely positive experience. I couldn't be happier with the results!

We recently had 12 windows replaced in our house and were very impressed with Croixside. Our initial consult with Mike was great — he took a close look at our windows and made sure we were thoroughly informed about what was wrong with the windows and the benefits that would come from new windows, but without trying to push a sale. When we decided we did want to purchase windows, he gave us detailed information about what the installation process would look like and what our options were for financing.

It took longer for installation to get started than initially discussed, but once the work was done it was done very well. The installer worked quickly and quietly (which was awesome since we have a newborn) and cleaned everything up when he was finished. And the windows look GREAT. Mike had eyeballed our window frames and made suggestions for what color to go with for the new windows. They match exactly and gave a definite facelift to our 72-year-old house.

Overall, our experience with Croixside was excellent and we'll definitely be recommending them to friends/family and turning to them for future work.

Croixside was great to work with, our windows look good. They were very communicative and flexible about when they were coming to install the windows. One of our windows came with a visible defect in the glass, but they immediately made it right and ordered another one for us to replace it. I’m very happy with the windows and how easy they are to open and clean. I would recommend them for sure.

I can't say enough good things about this company. We recently had our windows replaced. They look fantastic. They add so much more than curb appeal. Our house is warmer during these cold winder months. We don't hear nearly as much noise from the street as we used to. Also, we're breathing easier. Our old windows had mold and it brings peace of mind to know that we will not have that problem with these windows. Every single person that we've encountered along the way has been so helpful and friendly. Mike communicated everything clearly and helped us every step of the way. It's not a big crew, so you really get to know who you're working with.
We were so happy with their work that we decided to purchase a storm door through Croixside as well!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Croixside Home Improvements to update one of our doors and could not be happier with the result! During the project estimate Mike was very friendly, knowledgeable and great about explaining just how to go about updating our door and which kind exactly would best fit our needs. We had to do a custom door due to the existing framework but for Croixside that wasn't an issue at all. The team took care of everything for us from ordering the door to the professional and gorgeous installation. The process was very simple and we felt comfortable every step of the way. We've already noticed a huge difference in the energy efficiency in terms of heating in our basement. Our new door is already saving us money and it looks stunning!!
