Had the upstairs system (15 y/o 3ton Carrier heat pump and air handler) replaced this past week and am thrilled with the experience! John is extremely communicative and the pricing was beyond fair. The crew showed up on-time and were very polite and respectful to me and my home. When we got the estimate, we were floored to hear that we could get a 16.5 Seer Trane for the same price as a 15 Seer Lennox, as estimated by 2 other companies. Our new Trane is beautiful, quiet and is so efficient that I rarely hear or see the condenser fan running. Finally comfortable upstairs again!

Five stars is not enough. It is so easy to get "taken" in the world of HVAC-so glad I took a chance on Tweedy's. I heard about John through word of mouth-and thank god that I did. I had an issue with my heat a couple of weeks ago-basically I had none on a unit 4 years old. First Chase, then John had to do a fair amount of troubleshooting to figure out what the builders has done-turned out to be wired all wrong. Throughout the whole process-they informed me what they were doing step by step. They are not just "part changers"-it was obvious that they wanted to actually figure out the problem rather than guess. They were very accessible as well-we were limited on our availability and they accommodated our every request. Price was extremely fair especially for what you get. I now know more about HVAC than ever after spending some time with John-just picking his brain and observing. Five stars+++ for their customer service. From hear on out-nobody else touches my HVAC system.

Our air went out finally got an appointment and it was fixed in less than 10 minutes. Very fast, professional and honest I would highly recommend them to anyone who has heat or air problems. My AC unit quit and Tweedy's came right away to diagnose the problem and fix it. I found John Tweedy to be professional, knowledgeable and very fair priced. So when I had a bigger project, John came out to meet with me, examine the house, and discuss the work. He was very thorough and I felt he had my home's best interests in mind when making recommendations. He explained the work so I could understand it and make decisions. Then he gave me an estimate in writing. So I hired him again. He redesigned the ductwork in my home and installed a "whole-house" dehumidifer. The difference in air flow was AMAZING and I'm looking forward to much more efficient air conditioning this summer. They also cleaned the air handlers and heat pumps. Like I said--thorough. Throughout project John and his staff kept in good communication with me, kept the area neat and clean, and worked diligently from the minute they arrived on site. I HIGHLY recommend Tweedy's Heating and Air.
